As mentioned about, Engineered Air sent out a rep the very day I called in about having only warm air coming out of my AC's vents and my thermostat increasingly climbing upward. (By the end of the day, it would read a sweltering 87 degrees inside the house). The following day, Aubrey came out, took measurements, and two days later, my new AC unit was completely installed. The two men who did the work were exceptional in their ability to explain things and they proved to be top-rate at installing the unit perfectly. Wendy and Sandy were the reps on the phone that coordinated this job, and they performed exceptionally well, also. The overall result was top-quality service and top-quality communication (and a reduction of $132 - and change - in my electric bill, comparing $248 I paid to the electric company in August with my old AC unit, and the $116.48 I paid this month (September) with the new unit installed by Engineered Air. All factors considered . . . a solid thumbs-up to this company and all the people who work there.

Sandy answered phone promptly and cheerfully at 5:00pm when I called to report my home A/C was dead. Sandy promptly assessed my problem and offered next day or "Emergency After Hours" repair. I choose next day since I had a window unit in my Master Bedroom for hurricane use if ever needed (it takes seconds to install and cools the one room). Sandy called promptly at 8am the following day and informed us that the Tech would arrive late morning, she asked if that was OK and I said yes. Aubrey, the service technician, arrived at 11:30am as expected. Aubrey was very professional and courteous as he allowed me to explain the problem and give him background information to make his trouble-shoooting job easier. Aubrey then assessed the problem very efficiently, taking into account my initial information so as not to duplicate the trouble-shooting I had already done (I watched and learned a great deal). For example, since I told him that I had replaced the 40 amp fuses and that I had confirmed 220 volts AC at the Air Handler. He went right to the "low voltage" side (checking the voltage at the thermostat). This was intelligent and showed him that the problem was on the low voltage side.Aubrey opened the airhandler, looked for the transformer, located the fuse, saw it needed replacement and replaced it with an exact match from his truck. Seeing that I was a "hands on" type of home owner, he even allowed me to look over his shoulder (from a safe distance). He also asked if I wanted to know how or why it happened and what I could do to lower the chances of it happening again. I said yes and Aubry quickly but thoroughly explained all that he knew. He even reminded me that I could get a discount with an Angies's List coupon, so I printed it out and got the discount. Overall, I am glad that my wife got this Angie's list subscription.

All went well. Carlos, the technician, was both personable and knowledgeable. He clearly answered all my questions, as he was checking out and tending to all of my AC's components.

Company responded the same day I called, however it was a Friday afternoon, so the unit was not installed until Monday. The work was completed within 5 hours. Very professional and polite.

I had three separate companies come out to give me quotes on replacing my A/C. Ken came to my house on behalf of EngineeredAir. Out of all three companies, he spent the most time with me, checking to make sure he was going to provide me with exactly what I needed and wanted. He was also the least pushy sales person and the ONLY company to perform a heat/load calculation to make sure they were installing a properly sized unit. Tim was my installer and he was just amazing. This guy knew more about A/C systems than I thought possible. He is also obviously a perfectionist. Everything had to be absolutely perfect. In fact, he was training a new installer who was installing the outside unit. When the new guy put the A/C in, it wasn't perfectly level (I couldn't even tell). But Tim made him remove the unit and re-install it to make sure it was perfectly level. The bottom line is that even though Engineered Air charged about $100 more than their competition, it's 100% worth it to know you're going to get a trustworthy and knowledgable installer.

I would recommend them to anyone and any time because they were fantastic. We really do a lot of research when we do big ticket items and Engineered Air was not the least expensive but they were professional. They came in and told me what I needed and what they recommended. It turns out they were correct about everything. They guys came in were very professional, they cleaned up after themselves, and they told us how to run everything. On top of everything, our air conditioning is half of what it was before they installed the new system. I really like this company.

I spent around $100 for their service. Their price was average compared to what the others were charging. The quality was fine and we haven't had any problems with the AC since then. Their punctuality was fine too.

The technician, Aubrey, was friendly, courteous, and professional. He explained to me --- in layman's terms --- the essential parts of my air conditioning unit. He then went ahead and made a thorough inspection of the total unit and cleaned out the unit. All in all, a thumbs-up experience.

Engineered Air was the second A/C company that I called to check-out my A/C unit and give is a tune up. I was not happy with the first company as their only recommendation was that I needed to buy a new A/C system. So I called Engeneered Air. The only day I have available to me to have workmen at my house is Saturday. But Engineered Air told me that they do not do maintenence calls on Saturdays. I explained that I only have Saturday and they said they would fit me in the schedule to accommodate me. Their tech (Leo) showed up at 9AM. I told him that I thought it sounded like it was working too hard, not cooling as it should and that with the way it was set up that the filter was almost impossible to change. And that buying a new unit at this time was NOT an option. I wanted him to see if he could make it work a little better, cool a little better, is there any easier way to work the filter and to give me his opinion on the unit. Leo started opening it up, started looking it over and doing his tests. Cleaned out the lines and checked everything over. He said the unit was a little old but really didn't look to bad. No need to replace at this time. It was a little low on freeon. He gave me a few ideas on things I can do to help it work a little better and last a little longer, things I could fix myself to avoid mold and even gave me a good idea on how to rig the filter so that it is easier to change. over all, very professional and helpful. Will absolutley use them again when needed!

The technician examined my outside AC unit and then, as mentioned above, he asked me to step outside so that he could show me what he did. The problem turned out to be dirty connectors, which he replased with a new one. Next, without my even asking, he volunteered additional information on things I could do to keep my AC running more efficiently, like hosing down the unit and draining dirty water from the pipes from which the water drains. ( I really didn't think quality, professional, and honest service to this degree was possible anymore in this day and age, but I was happy to discover that I was wrong. ) A solid thumbs-up to Engineered Air.

It went well, I am still comparing prices.

The technician, Aubery was very amiable. I would have paid at least this much money with anyone else. I would hire them again.

I would rate them as an A. They were so prompt, and they cleaned up the mess. They brought all the equipment that they would need for this project, the amount of people, three, was all it took to get done in one day. There was some electrical wiring coming in and they took care of it.

Workmen showed up at 8:30 a.m. as scheduled. They had to increase the size of the cement pad for the compressor and did that immediately. They worked all day to complete the job by 5:30 p.m. The work was done in a professional way and they cleaned up before leaving.
