Description of Work: He really didn't do much other than spray an area and put up some netting. It was way overpriced. When I was having a hard time with the cost, he said, "Are you not comfortable with me?" Anyways, I felt like I was ripped off, especially after checking with other companies, unfortunately.

Description of Work: We started to hear scratching noises one night. I called them and were prompt and punctual. They provided me with a very professional quote, with pictures and clear explanations of the job to be performed. They sealed all entry points and the technicians have continue to visit to revise the traps and take care of any caught intruder.... overall, outstanding service and professionalism from where I least expected it.

Description of Work: We had a problem with roof rats and I had used this company before successfully. They had did a good job and they weren't too expensive. We trusted them and hired them again for another job. When they had been there before they had closed up all access points and the closures were still in place. He worked up the bill and tried to tell me he gave me a discount. The estimate was $2,000 when before we paid $600-$700. I understand there were new procedures and chemicals they were using to sanitize. I felt this was was reasonable so I went ahead with the estimate. After he worked up the estimate on the table, he opened a blank page for me to sign. After I didn't this I realized I had not seen what I signed. I trusted him and he was a nice guy. I called him and told him I didn't get a receipt and he said they were emailing it. After receiving the receipt I realized that there were things I was charged for that I didn't need - screens in places that there were already screens! The company told me to work this out with the technician when he got there. One problem I immediately had was that someone would be trapping in the attic and someone had to clean up the areas that the rats had been in. They were supposed to replace insulate, clean up trails etc. The clean up was all to be done after the trapping was done. On the same day as the trapping I got a call from the supervisor that handles the repairs and cleaning. I explained he needed to wait until the trapping was over and he seemed in a hurry to get this done. After the animals are gone, they have to close the holes and then its okay to do the clean up. I told the supervisor there were things on the bill that did not need to be done on the home. The supervisor was in a huge hurry and was only there for about an hour when he should have been there for 3. The trapping specialist had taken photos and I had to check with the supervisor to make sure these areas were taken care of. I had to send him up twice to take care of it. He told me I had to call the office to have this removed. The office has already charged my card for the full amount and told me they could not refund anything off the bill. This is completely against the agreement we had set up with them. I ended up speaking with the company that told me that this was not an itemized bill and no changes could be made. He said the intials at the top of the bill stated that it was a bundle plan, and nothing could be refunded or itemized out of it. He started threatening to sue me. He said that using the blank page to sign was a way to protect the environment by not using paper. He said they couldn't remove anything, but he offered to come out and charge me alacarte, but could not give me any discounts on the bill and guaranteed it would be much higher than the beginning. After a lot of tooth pulling, I got him to give me $250 back. I agreed to this refund to get it over with even though the work that was not be done totals over $400.

Description of Work: Rudy Gamarra inspected my house for insect invasion -- the reason for his visit -- and gave me a positive report and some very good advice for the future. He was explicit, clear, forthcoming and responsive.

Description of Work: Sprayed for Mosquitos. Have not had a mosquito problem since, but did install mosquito trap 2 days later. 2 more treatments are due for the $99 special.
