Critter Control

They sprayed around the outside of my house. The service turned out fine. They wanted to come out for a continuous monthly service but I was not interested.

Last year we noticed bees on the side of our house. We didn't pay too much attention and before we knew it, they had built a beehive inside a small opening in our soffit area. We contacted Critter Control and they sent Shawn out. He was very knowledgeable and knew just what to do. He sprayed and dusted inside the area and came back in a few days to remove the nest which was quite large and filled with LOTS of honey. Unfortunately, we did not get the area sealed up properly and we had bees return almost a year later to the same area as before. We called Critter control and told them what happened. Shawn was not covering this area any longer so they sent Andy. Andy told us he was actually trained by Shawn. He immediately took on the job, sprayed and dusted and we were rid of the bees that same day. Since Shawn had warned us to call right away if it ever happened again, we did. Thankfully, it made the job easier since the beehive was small. We appreciated the quick response and that Andy only charged a nominal fee for coming out since we had gone through this just the year before. I would definitely recommend Critter Control, and both Shawn and Andy. I also wanted to mention John, the supervisor there. He was wonderful and followed up with us making sure everything was taken care of. Great Great customer service!

I was not present due to work but my wife dealt with them and this is was she told me. The lady that showed up was very kind and professional. She took the time to speak with my wife and explain the origin of the problem and suggest solutions. She was not pushy at all trying to get future business but kindly offered her services in the future if we needed them and provided good advice. Overall very satisfied with their service and definitively would use them again.

Treated for dry wood termites..my tenant thought they were very good

The receptionist was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Sent tecnician out the same day. When the technician arrived and we begin to discuss the services that he was going to provide. The technician was rude, lazy, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional. He tried to charge me a 99.00 service fee that the receptionist had earlier quoted as being free. I sent him on his way immediately and call the office. The receptionist was extremely receptive and responsive. I received a call from the supervisor within minutes. The supervisor stated that he will come out and conduct the inspection personally. The supervisor was apologetic, professional, and knowledge. He conducted a thorough inspection, provided a thorough and professional breakdown of the work that was required, and answered all of my questions. Bottomline, the company did what they could to make it right. I am going to write it off as a company that provides good service, but has to address a problem employee. I would most likely use them again.

Wonderful service. Prompt, efficient and completely reliable. The office was a pleasure to deal with and Marissa from Critter Control called before the service to arrange appointment and took the time to follow up after to review what was done. I would definitely use them again!

We had a small glitch getting the treatment time set up, but once we did, it all went great. Robert treated my house and yard. I am happy to report that I am vacuuming up loads of dead bugs--and not just the original target of the treatment. There are all kinds of dead bugs that will no longer be tormenting me in my home. Thanks guys!

Tech arrived on time, thoroughly sprayed inside house for pests (sugar ants were getting out of control), and bombarded the outside with clouds upon clouds of fumigation. It took less than an hour. It took a few days to work its magic, but the house has been free and clear since then. No complaints and well satisfied.

The technician was very professional and punctual. He walked through our home and treated it for the roach and silverfish problem. We have not seen any since! After this one-time treatment, we are considering going with a monthly and quarterly service plan.

It went very well and I am very happy. It went fine. It was a very positive experience. They were personable, not pushy and very professional. I would highly recommend them. I would use them again.

Tari knows her stuff , liked her from the moment I met her , had ants coming in the house , had to have a tree and lawn service done in addition to the angies list deal , but well worth it ...took about a week to see results but since then I have not seen any unwanted guests in my home.. I had not had any pest control in many years, and living in south florida , you need this service to have peace of mind that when you come home after a long day , i signed up for regular service and will never be without it again!

I have mixed feelings about this company, because their guarantee turned out to be useless to me. For the price, I think the guarantee ought to be more robust. The woman who trapped the rats was very helpful and responsive; she kindly set up cages, only because I thought the animals might be a native species of Floridian mice (which I didn't want to kill), and she made extra visits to check the cages. They turned out to be rats, so she took them away in the cages to deal with elsewhere. A man filled holes round the outside of the house to stop any more rats from getting in. However, a few months later I heard rats in the attic again. I looked around carefully and found a hole that I honestly believe was there the first time (I think they missed it) because I had seen rats in that area before (before the company performed the service). They said that the guarantee doesn't cover any holes that might have been newly created by the rats. They wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars more to deal with it. Instead, I decided to trap the rats myself with wooden traps from the hardware store, and I filled the hole myself with a can of foam spray that hardens in minutes.

The customer service person was Tari. Tari began by telling me which types of ants were intruding and explaining the different feeding and work habits of each. She began with a walk around, detailed exterior inspection of the house with me. She notice areas where ants could be entering the house. She sprayed both interior and exterior. Within 2 days the ants were gone and I have not seen any ants in the house since then. Great Job Tari!

Although I ended up not longer needing the service (neighbor beat me to it) Brian was VERY respoinsive and called me multiple times to set up appoitnments to come by and assess the problem we were having with spiders/webs on our exterior property. Should I run into the problem again I will definitely be calling Critter control as they seemed professional, responsive and that they could effectively get the job done.

The provider went the extra mile to ensure that everything was sprayed. She even cleaned the patio of cobwebs/spiders, wasp nests. I would certainly use them again.

We received wonderful customer service from Tari. I had found a large trail of ants entering the house. The trail was about 1 inch wide. Tari began by telling me which types of ants were intruding and explaining the different feeding and work habits of each. She began with a walk around, detailed exterior inspection of the house with me. She noting areas where ants could be entering the house. She requested that I make some changes to the landscaping, cutting tree branches, trimming hedges and sealing small holes. She then did an interior inspection of the house. Tari asked that I move any furnature that was against the walls in order to see any trails they may have and then she did a complete inspection of the attic and garage. She sprayed both interior and exterior. Tari had me remove the ant traps I had placed around the house which seemed to be feeding stations for the ants. Within 2 days, as she had told me, the ants were gone and I have not seen any ants in the house since then. Great Job Tari!

After all that he did not locate the dead animal. So we were left with three holes on the wall that we had to have them fixed and painted by a handy-man after the smell was dissipated which took about 4 weeks. We gave an A for the effort because he really tried over an hour searching but gave B for overall, price and quality because our problem was not solved. He was apologetic about not being able to help us but he had to charge us for the time spent.

Heard rustling sounds in attic. Turns out a mother raccoon gave birth up there. Not knowing their were babies I sealed up the soffit where she was getting in while she was looking for food. She promptly chewed through the rotten wood in my atrium and got back in to the babies. Destroying my screen and atrium in her efforts. I then bought a giant Havahart cage and put it up there to no avail. Then after two days waiting for the cage to work the babies fell down the wall next to the bathroom and the entire family got stuck under my bathtub! What a disaster. I cut a hole in the drywall and stuck the cage in there for one more day also to no avail. Called awesome Amanda at Critter control at 10:30 am Saturday morning she was more than helpful, putting me on hold for a short time verifying I would not be charged for an emergency visit fee. Thirty minutes later Shaun was at my house. That was incredible. Turns out I we were the first customer on the first day of the Miami office opening. He was in the neighborhood but didn't have the proper tools to remove an angry mother raccoon so he immediately called Amanda who closed up the office and acquired the right tools. As Shaun snagged the young raccoons (barehanded) she drove out with the wired poles and stuff. Then he climbed up on my roof and inspected my entire house (90 degree day) while Amanda came out to help. The mother was just too wild and mean for them to catch (ran back to the attic) so we sealed the entire house and left one hole open with newspaper stuffed in the hole. When the newspaper was on the ground (she was out) I sealed the hole with wire mesh. I dealt with this issue for about a month. Four hours after calling Amanda and Shaun (on a Saturday) at Critter Control the problem was solved. Couldn't have been more satisfied.

tari was wonderful. prompt and courteous and friendly. she was great about doing pest control and looking for ant colonies around our house. technically i only bought the exterior but she was so sweet and saw that we had just moved in and had two very young kids so she sprayed the areas she could in our kitchen and bathrooms and common areas. gave us great advice on getting rid of trees outside our masterbath where many bugs like to live b/c of the sweet sap from the plant.

It didn't go at all. Spent 50.00 for no service

Answered call, and set up appointment in the same week. Service Tech was on time, friendly and very efficient.

One person from critter control was very good, they then could not figure our the issue. The manager came out and could not figure it out as well, took them a month to get out here and take care of the pest control. He also said he was going to do research on it and call back in a few days, no response. This guy does not return calls to save his life. They said they would call, they did not call. I said I was going to try and get out of this contract. I should not have to track them down, they lost my business.
