Critter Control

Tari was very professional, and knowledgable. She answered all of my questions and concerns. She did a wonderful job of the interior and exterior of our home including some areas in our back and front yards. She advised us of future treatment options.

Very little work for the price

Everything went well for the most part. The scheduling was easy, the technician arrived on time, and he was thorough in his application of the treatment which was very effective. My only issue was that he never followed up with a proposal for monthly treatments which was surprising given the good service I had received prior. Ultimately, I had to hire another company for the job.

It was fine. They were treating for general insects. They were wonderful - we saw no bugs after they came out.

They are not very quick to respond to my needs. I have offered them to text me, call me whatever. I've called during office hours, left messages and will hear back days later after I call again. I've called their emergency services on the weekend, been told that they would call me i an hour.. they only called back one time of all the times I've called in while I was in my bedroom, out of the way of the swarming termites. I've asked many times at least 5 to speak with the owner Joe of the company to come up with a plan to help me out here and never heard from or or a message from him. In the beginning, they came to the house, dug stations for the subterranean termites, drilled holes etc. They were very responsive. They shot the wood with product to kill the dry wood termites. The one reason I went with them, even though they were very expensive, is they said they to clear my termite problem without tenting the house. This property need much remodeling and had been neglected for a long time. They knew that when they came as it was very obvious and they said they could do what could be done to rid me of these problems.. I purchased having my attic insulation taken out, disinfecting the attic space and putting in special insulation with some kind of product that would deter the wood termites. This job was $5,000 alone. My total bill to these folks was $10,000,, $800. was for some rat issues and mostly they told me what to do to not have rats and never caught a rat.. we caught our own rats. I finally got to my wits end with endless swarming and even though they would eventually come out to help me and put more poison in the ground it never got better. No one would talk to me about what can be done further, no plan, nothing. I'd asked them to compensate me for the hours of cleanup after the swarm, a hotel room to stay in while they were swarming. They offered nothing.. I couldn't believe it. Update 5/29/2014 - I'm losing a renter because of this as well...she won't stay there because of the termites. That's my income...it's unbelievable. Update 9/5/2014: After mediation efforts by Angie?s list unfortunately were not too successful. I contacted the State Inspector of Florida, Richard Lucas. That phone call from him seemed to make the difference and Critter Control (Robert) called and came out to finish the job they were hired for. They drilled down below the foundation in a back room that seemed to be the nesting place of the termites and loaded it with chemicals. I won?t know how it worked till the next swarming season. Robert, commented that he wished to do the job I paid for. So for now, they are complying. I appreciate all the work Angie?s list did to try and get Critter Control to respond. I'm just glad finally something worked.

They did give an estimate for our rat problem, but it was pricey. However, the pest control price is reasonable. They always come back between services when needed. I think the girl who comes out, Carrie, is very sweet and a pleasure to work with.

Did it and sprayed once was to provide quote for regular work never received

The company was prompt, mmediate in replying. They were on-time and did exactly what was expected.

We're really happy with them. They were really nice. The person that came out here was really friendly and explained everything to me. They went throughout the house really thoroughly. They did a good job.

It worked out good. It was a big deal purchase. There was no extra charge. The price was good.

He did not even complete each window to spray, it just ONE push for each window....total 5mins?? I never use this company and never recommend to others. It was really disappointed. I could do by myself like this.

Service provided on schedule. Associate offered information and future service on a bi-monthly basis. She appeared knowledgeable and professional. Would use again in the future.

The estimate went fine but they did not show up for the scheduled service appointment. They never called and I have not heard from them since the estimate.

Excellent service as always. This is the third time that I have used Critter Control. They come out remove the deal animal from under my deck with no problem.

The lady that came was really nice. She had to call and change the appointment, which was fine with me. She was very punctual, she was on time. She gave me a lot of extra tips for what I could do outside of the house for what I could do to prevent any problems.

I was in dire need for someone to come out and do the service quickly. They were very responsive. Tari, the technician, was quick to respond and work me into her schedule. She took her time to do the service to make sure it was done correctly. She also took the time to inspect to make sure there were no other additional issues.

They sent an employee named Victor who was very knowledgeable, very professional and courteous. He went out of his way to explain the process. It took three visits to resolve the problem because the beehive had larvae that takes a few weeks to hatch. We asked Victor to come out and inspect an area inside our house that had miniature bugs we had never seen before. Victor right away knew that they were bee larvae falling from the light fixtures (from the attic) and told us not too worry that they would all die out in a couple weeks. We were very grateful for his honesty. Very pleased with the service and would definitely use them again.

I called their number and was greeted by a polite representative who took my information and told me that an inspector would call me for an appointment for a free estimate for exterminator services. I never got a call back. The next day I received a one sentence email from the technician asking if I was going to be home that day for the inspection. I guess they are too busy to call back new customers requesting a quote. Needless to say, I ended up signing a contract with another company for my extermination needs.

They came and did the job and left (no one was at the home).

Teri was a pleasure to work with. She called before she arrived and was on time for the appointment. She was very knowledgeable about different types of bugs and insects. I haven't seen any bugs since her visit, so it worked!

The house still has a putrid odor that has not gotten any better after 5 months. Called them to come back in September 2013 and they said they wanted more money to come back to check it out. I feel they took advantage of my son

Technician Joe was very friendly and proffessional.

Bought the special for around $80 from Angies. And they promptly scheduled my visit and came out quickly. The gentleman was very nice, not pushy and seemed very knowledgable. Sprayed for ants and other insects. I know that to really keep the insects away you have to have them treated on a regular basis but it has been months since he exterminated and I have barely seen an ant or those millipedes which was my primary issue. Would and will use them again in the future.

Pest control, they also came back to re-spray to ensure thouroughness. Very friendly, great service!
