I requested quotes from 20 different A/C contractors in my area. Only 9 actually quoted. Among those that did, East Coast had the best price. I checked out the company and the Payne brand; both got good reviews. Then the price got even better when I noticed that they offer a 10% discount to Angie's List members. Even though their price was already the best in town, Scott agreed to honor that coupon and knock off another 10%. He scheduled the job for the very next day. Jimmy, the installer, showed up on time and began working in a very professional manner. He had the whole job done and working great in less than 5 hours. I couldn't be happier.

It went well.He accepted to come outside working hours which made me pay more but the job was done.. Gave me good advice.

Good A/C company. I later used them to replace a unit.

A/c works fine after service. Helped order replacement A./c filters for unusual size. Only problem they do not work on weekends.

On time and did what they promised. Would use again.

The job was done professionally. Pricing was very reasonable and Scott and Peter seem to know what they are doing.

The last AC service provider said maybe the coils needed cleaning. Later East coast came out and went on the roof and found it was leaking instead. They added Freon and they did a good job. He did the job quickly and was on his way.

Scott came out and inspected my business air conditioning as it was not cooling. Scott found a leak in the refrigerant lines on the roof. He emailed me a video while he was on the roof to show me what had happened . I authorized the repairs, and we were up and running in a hour. This is not my only experience with East Coast Air. Scott has replaced two air conditioners for me in the past. One in a rental property, and one in my home. Both of which have run for years without issue. He has also installed systems for numerous family members and friends. Everyone has been very happy with the end result.. I happen to work in the A/C distribution business. I personally know many a/c companies and service providers. I choose to only use Scott and East Coast Air for my air conditioning needs.

This is the second time we used this company for our a/c. We were initially told about this company by a friend. I'm glad we were directed to them. In both cases the air wasn't turning on at all. In both cases Scott was out within an hour or so of receiving our call. Each time he checked the least expensive causes of the problem first: the thermostat, the breaker box, then the actual unit. In both cases, the cause of the problem was really minor. One was a bad relay from FPL installed by a previous owner, and the second time it was from a blocked drain that needed to be cleared. In both cases, the fees were reasonable. After they fixed our first issue, we passed their information on to a friend who needed to replace her entire a/c unit. She got estimates from six different companies and ended up going with this provider because it was the most reasonable. Her a/c is now working great and she was very pleased with their service as well.
