We have a small "cabana bath" that had some cracked tiles. The job required taking up all the old tile, removing the toilet, repairing the crack in the concrete foundation, laying new tile, and replacing toilet. Dave was VERY helpful in explaining all of our options and helping us understand the process. He obviously did a thorough and completely professional job. We're perfectly happy with the results and extremely grateful for the awesome price. He also honored the 10% first-time customer coupon offered on this site.

I asked David to come and look at the job I was asking him to do. He arrived right on time. Looking at the job he was able to tell me what materials he needed and how long the installation would take: I was to provide the materials and he would provide the labor. I went to Lowe's and as it turned out, Lowe's gave me the wrong materials and if it were not for David, the job would have been delayed. However, David had some of the materials on his truck and on my behalf he used them. In addition, because the glass tile was now slightly raised from what it was, we needed longer screws to attach the face plates properly and safely. Again, David had the longer screws on his truck and he was able to complete the job. Except for some glitches, which were not David's fault, everything went just as David told me it would go. There was no charge for the materials used and the cost of the job was just as David quoted . This guy is a treasure. He has an affable personality and really knows his stuff. Bathrooms, patios, pools floors ,residential and commercial remodeling. are his forte. H e honors Angies List .

I called David on Sunday and left a voice mail. He promptly called me back and scheduled to come out later in the week to review the situation. The night he was going to come out he had an emergency situation with another customer and called to reschedule for the next day. He came out the next day and was right on time. He surveyed the area and found that the wall was dry on the sides where the soap dish had been hanging and that we only needed to dry out the area the soap dish was hanging from. We put a fan to dry the area and ran it for 3-4 days per David's recommendation. He explained exactly what he was going to do to fix our problem and scheduled to come back on Saturday. He called Friday night to schedule the time on Saturday and showed up promptly on schedule. He reconnected the soap dish without issue and cleaned everything up very nicely. He was very professional and very pleasant to work with. I appreciated that he explained everything in great detail and was very honest about our situation and what needed to be done. I would definitely recommend him and will call on him in the future.

He was very methodic and clean. He cleaned up very well. I think he gave us a fair price. The work was very good, I was very happy with the outcome. I was very pleased with the work he did. He called me right back as soon as I called. He always showed up on time and when he said he's going to be there, he was there. It looks like he did an excellent job.

His price was reasonable. I can't say enough about him it was wonderful. I liked everything about his work in fact we would probably call him again if we needed him. He cleaned up after himself as well.

He may be a great contractor, but his lack of business professionalism will keep from hiring him.

They were fairly priced, punctual and professional, but I chose another contractor instead

David J. Shannon was very professional. He worked hard. He was great and he's here when he said he's going to be here. When something came up like when he was running late, he would let us know. He did an awesome job. There was nothing he couldn't do.

Contacted Dave, only to be told by him he's not available till the end of November. Maybe he should have noted this in his profile and in his message he had left so as to avoid time wasting.

David is a professional. After getting burned by a few unlicensed companies, I turned to Angie's List to find a reputable contractor. I'm very pleased with the work he did in my master bath area. He smoothed out the shower floor and pitched it, built the curb, installed the vinyl, and installed the DensShield. I will be hiring him again when I have more work.

David returned all calls promptly. He kept all appointments, on time. He kept us fully informed throughout the process. David was very clean, did a great job and charged a very fair price. We would definitely use him again and we strongly recommend him.

David is a true professional perfectionist. Even when I insisted that something was of little consequence to me, he argued the point for doing it his way. Anyhow, I am extremely pleased with his work and wish that he had been the installer for the tiles that were installed in the rest of the house 15 years ago. He is so good, he doesn't need spacers. Nice person too.

David was prompt, professional, friendly, and honest. He was quite frank in letting me know this was a temporary solution and that at some point a complete replacement of the showers would be required. He showed up when he said he would, performed the job, and cleaned up after.

Our old kitchen counters had two glass sections, and one finally shattered. David removed them and had two granite pieces cut to the same size and installed them. He did a great job and they look great We were particularly appreciative that he did the work just before Christmas (we were having dinner for 12) right before he was going out of town. We would definitely use him again.

We could not be happier be happier with the work David Shannon did on our bathroom remodel. After living three years with poorly made bathroom remodel, we decided to join Angie's List and found David. Mr. Shannon was a true professional. He promptly returned my calls for an estimate. He showed up on time, was honest about what he could do and not do. He stated that he was currently booked for the next two months. We decided to to go with David based on his excellent ratings on Angie's List. The results was awesome. He started the job when scheduled and was always courteous and kept the area in our bedroom clean and picked up after himself. I would recommend David to anyone who needs an honest, professional and hardworking individual (hard to find these days) for any job involving tiling/bathroom remodels. We will definitely be calling David back next year to do our second bathroom. Thank you David and Angie's List!

Dave is a really nice and trustworthy guy, his prices are amazing and most importantly his instincts and knowledge are fenomenal. Let me start by explaining that my bathroom is very old and Dave still worked with what I had to solve the problem in the most cost-efficient way, so that i didn't have to replace anything. Knowing very little about this type of things I really apreciated that! I had several people come look at the problem and Dave was the only one that told me he thoguht the enclosure was allowing water to leak into the wall. When we removed the enclosure we realized that Dave was absolutely right. Ultimately though, I thought the end result was good but a little bit sloppy. In all fairess to Dave I did not tell him this. I was planning on teling him in person (and allow him a chance to fix it), but Dave was supposed to fix another bathroom for me and did not show up or call to cancel on the day he was supposed to start. I called him later that week to try and figure out what happened and left a message. He then called to see if he could come over the weekend, but we were unavailable and at that point I figured I rather hire someone else for the two reasons described above.

I actually went pretty smooth from beginning to finish, I was a little nervous since it was my first Angie's list experience, but it was fast, accurate stress free, no complaints...

Dave does meticulous work; he takes the extra time and effort to do things the right way. He shows up early and gets the task done. He is trustworthy and conscientious. He had a key to our home, did work while we were both gone, and cleaned up when he was done each day. The double-edged sword of his skill and reputation is that he stays busy, and tends to have several jobs going on at once. Carefully confirm the details of your project and make sure it matches what?s in your estimate.

I called for an estimate, and when it sounded reasonable, I gave him the go ahead. He ordered the tile, and we fit them installation times in around his schedule, because we are always here, working at home. It took three trips because of tile setting time and drying, but he was very punctual and professional. The finished job was better than expected, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Shannon was quick to respond after we placed our call for an estimate. Within 24 hours we had a quote. He referred us to a reputable marble/countertop company to have the baseboards made. He came to our house on a Saturday morning to install them. We were happy with his promptness, professionalism, work. An additional quality to Mr. Shannon is his recommendations for other trades like cabinet making, counter tops, marble ect... The fact that my husband and I did not have to run around to find a company to supply, cut and match our exiting baseboards, in size and color,was an ENORMOUS help. He seems to have good rapport with various trades which, in our opinion, is key to an excellent job.

David is very detailed oriented and meticulous about his work. We had a very good experience with David from start to finish. He was very attentive to our needs and desires. He was very flexible with regard to what work we would do and what he would do.

I live in Tampa FL and have a rental property in Coral Springs FL. The majority of the tile on our main floor needed to be replaced after most of it popped off the floor during foundation settling. I live 5 hours from the property, work full-time with an active busy family. I could not go over to the rental to pick tile and supervise the installation. I found Dave on Angie's list and he had GREAT reviews. I took a leap of faith and hired him for the job. HE WAS AWESOME!!!!! Very professional, punctual, easy to work with and made the process stress free for me. I was not there to pick the new tile so I left that to Dave. He knew what I wanted and picked a beautiful tile that matched all of the houses decor and remained in my price range. He handled the purchase and delivery to the house. He coordinated all of this with me (in Tampa) and my renter. The job was a big job--around 1000 Sq Ft of installation. We talked almost everyday and he never sounded upset when I would call to check up on things since I was not there. He truly made the process totally stress free and given my crazy life of working in the ER with 2 kids and a crazy home life was a blessing. He also gave me advice on tile installation of a house we are building in the area here. He had nothing to gain from that as our installation at the rental was completed but he took time out of his busy schedule to talk with me and educate me on what I should look for in my new property here in Tampa during the construction of our new home and tile installation here. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone and would use him again myself.

David gave me recommendations for people who he has worked with that did the type of work recommended. I completed the project and I am very happy with the results. David was very professional and concerned about the quality and durability of the finished product.

It went extemely well. No don'ts occurred.
