Dave was the consummate professional - showing up on-time with a smile and instantly instilling confidence that he could handle the job. The resulting repairs were completed over two days and the work was excellent. I would hire Dave again in a minute!

David did an excellent job installing our ceramic tile on our back patio. Before his job started, we had several issues with the concrete installer and their inability to pour a patio that would not crack. He came out on several occasions to inspect their job and offer solutions. When it came time for him to install the tile after they were done, he did such a great job installing our 24" x 24" ceramic tile. He helped us choose the right color of grout to install to make it look really nice. We're so happy with the result that we spend more time outside on the patio having dinner than we do inside. I would call him again in a heartbeat when we need more tile installed!

Dave renovated from top to toe both my kids and master bath. Both came out spectacularly. He is a consummate professional in all he does . He redesigned the layout of my master to give full effect to a copper tub which looks spectacular in the space. His design acumen and attention to detail and thoroughness as a contractor are first class. I would not hesitate to use his services again and have recommended him to a number of my friends already.

Scheduling aside, all went well. David's work is that of a true craftsman. His solution for our problem of how to seamlessly join two slightly different floor levels to create a single, flowing, open space is a thing of beauty... Now, I learned that and RESPECT that working with David takes patience. David is a one man operation. He is very busy. I had to book him in April for July and even at that, he got off to a late start. There are many variables in his routine that can potentially lead to unexpected delays: other clients, availability of materials, awaiting fabrication of custom pieces to name a few. So, if you're on a tight schedule, need the job done tomorrow, I'd suggest going elsewhere. If you have the time and patience, David's meticulous work will be your reward. Regarding billing, he couldn't be more fair. As it took me a minute to whip my patience into shape, I'm not sure that he'd care to do another job for me. But if he would, I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Beautiful work David... and thanks.

Excellent service, Dave showed up when he said he would, Told us each day what we should expect, completed on time and best of all it looks GREAT! He has a great personality is very fair and we highly recommend him. He will be doing our master bathroom in the fall.

Dave did a great job .... broke up & removed old tiles, ground down surface to remove old glue residue, primed the concrete surface, set new tiles and grouted .... he worked so hard, it took 6 visits over the course of 12 days. He also repaired a few other little areas in the apt .... very nice guy, went above & beyond, I’d use his services again in a minute!

David is a true professional. We chose David because of his reviews and they were spot on. David grouted the tiles in our shower and sealed the edges for us. He was on time and did the job by taking his time and even left it all clean with no mess when completed. We are already planning to have him back for some other bathroom projects we want to have done. He charged us a great price per hour and I made sure to give him more than he asked. He’s very good at what he does and knowledgeable.

Excellent. David Shannon responded to our specific needs (repair / replace / retile a shower stall and pan that had been badly installed by the original home builder). We got several estimates from other contractors, and the others either pressed us to redo the whole bathroom, or as they described the work they would do, it became clear they didn't know what they were talking about. David showed up on time for our estimate and quoted a fair price. He also worked with us to select attractive materials and more importantly, when the materials turned out to be of faulty manufacture, went the extra mile to make it right. Also important: we had an extremely unusual work / life schedule at the time of the job, and David was a pro about accommodating us--and was always there when he said he would be. Most critically, our new shower tile looks amazing. 100% will hire for our next project.

What should have been a quick fix became a 4 hour job. Removing the old microwave(which had not been installed correctly to begin with), cutting the tile by 1/4 inch so the new microwave could be installed. David did everything and I did not have to call Home Depot Delivery. Through out the process, David remained calm and his work was very precise. I would definitely call him again.

Dave did an excellent job removing the old tiles and installing the new tiles. I didn't know what kind of sealer the original owner used on the tile and Dave went the extra mile to find the closest match. He charges very low rates as well. I highly recommend him if you need work done.

I highly recommend using David for tile work and renovations. David does outstanding work. He takes his time; perfection is very important to him. He will always go above and beyond to make sure your job is done professionally. We just went through a total renovation of our house and David completed our master bathroom and tiled our entire house. Every person that visits us compliments our tile work and bathroom. David will always show up exactly on time. He will not rush your job but he will do it right. He has been incredibly flexible with us throughout our year long renovation. We had work for him on and off throughout the year and he always accommodated us. He is a great person and cares about his customers and people in general. We feel very fortunate that we met David and his cabinet maker Bob. They are honest, responsible, hard working and really great people. David even loaned use tools to help my husband prepare for hurricane Irma and then to recover from Irma.

David Shannon, made a very good impression on me. He repaired my leaking shower pan, which included removing of the old tiles, mud and drain, and installing a new drain, liner and tiles. Every other contractor I spoke to wanted to replace ether the entire shower, or half of it. David was honest and knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the problem and offered a solution. The work he did was high quality, and he was always on time and reliable. I would highly recommend him.

He was prompt and pleasant to speak with. He job was completed without a hitch! I will definitely use his service again.

He was good. At the price, I am not sure. It took a long time, because I had to run and get parts. It was just him. Improve upon would be price. He had to sit here, because all the parts weren't available. He sat here at an hourly rate, while I had to run to an hardware store to get stuff. I don't know if he adjusted the hourly rate or not, but its still expensive.

If I could give a higher rating I would do it!! David is a gentleman of the old school. Someone that cares about his work and is extremely honorable. I would have him in my home anytime. You can hire him with confidence that you will get a job that is professionally done by someone who will treat you with great respect.
