Perfectly! Dave is an absolute expert. He is always on time, his estimates regarding both cost and time frame are accurate. He cleans everything up. The end result was so beautiful.

I don't believe that David could have been more PROFESSIONAL than he was in handling all of the facets of the job. He was above all PROFFESSIONAL, but also was PROMPT, COURTEOUS & PLEASANT, EFFECTIVE, completely managed his (our) time, & his fee was entirely reasonable. I will unhesitatingly call him FIRST, whenever we have work to be done. Dave, THANKS a MILLION for taking care of this issue IMMEDIATELY for an 86 year old resident of Plantation, FL. absolutely perfectly. david is a superb craftsman with an eye for detail and a willingness to do what needs to get done in order to have a perfect job. he also has good design sense and made excellent recommendations to me for replacement tiling.

Changed out curtains for me. When the first ones I bought didn't work, he went to the trouble of hanging other ones.

Oh my goodness! An artist and a technician! We could not have dreamed of more beautiful and professional tile installation. We are so happy to have found David. After contacting several tile contractors, and having more than one come out for estimate, we chose David because my husband (who is quite savvy about craftsmanship), and I both felt he was the one who really "knew his stuff". He was booked up, so we had to wait to get him, but he was so very worth it!! We went with 24" tile on the floor (one of the other installers was a bit daunted by this when we mentioned we were considering this size, but not David), and it was laid *perfectly*. He asked our preferences about grout lines and color - guiding, where we needed it and asked his advice, and going way out of hit way to do it "just so" to meet all our preferences. The concrete floor itself (after he stripped the two layers of linoleum) was uneven, but he explained where the high-point was and how he would make it level, and exactly what the result would be . He was dead on. (at one point , he slid a big ,heavy plastic tub across the floor with his foot to demonstrate there were no catch-points because there were NO raised edges. It skated over the big main area like it was on a solid polished surface). The backsplash we chose had 3 sizes, and two color/pattern tiles (2 sizes of marble brick and 1 decorative pewter-look tile for a horizontal/middle centerpiece). It came out gorgeous as well, and he even used different color grouts for the different tiles for a lovely transition and overall effect. Never once did he say he would come on a particular day, and not do so. He always got back to us when we called (and most often was able to pick up the phone). And his clean-up was wonderful. He took all the demo'd material away, and he did a professional wash of all the tile work after he was done. I love this man's work! As long as I live in Broward, and he's working in it, my husband and I will use him. He is THE guy I want for tile. (Thanks David!!)

The tree root had been raising the 4 foot by 5 foot sidewalk section for about five years. Finally, the raised section was in the air. The tree root had raised the bottom of the sidewalk slab a few inches above the top of its neighboring sidewalk slab. The HOA sent me a letter. With an HOA deadline pending David came right over the same day. He analyzed the problem and told me about the timeline. He advised me on the permit with the city. David was very helpful in this aspect. Once the permit was initiated, David got right to work. He busted out the old slab, carried away all the old concrete, prepped the area and poured new concrete for the slab. Entire process took about 2 weeks due to permit and slowness of the city inspectors. David was very patient and understanding since he deals with the permitting process all the time. I was new to it and he eased my concerns. David also fixed a sprinkler line that was severed by the tree root. I didn't have to call someone else to address that issue. I was very pleased with the service provided and will definitely use David again in the future. He also does tile work, as well, from what he told me.

A great experience! David was very responsive to our initial contact, coming out the same day to do an estimate and to provide guidance on selecting new flooring materials. We went to a recommended tile store to select tile, and David did the rest. He removed the old chattahoochee and then installed the new tile, after re-leveling the base to ensure the patio would properly drain. Everything was done in one week. The patio is beautiful, and we are proud to show it off to friends and neighbors. David is a skilled professional with great charisma.

Need to have a bathroom remodeled. As I explained to him I was ready to go as the bathroom was already gutted out. Came over right away to look over job. Then told us he wasn't available to do the job till January but if this one particular client didn't start their job "he could fit us in". Never gave us the courtesy of letting us know either way. Additionally, wasted our time as I had to leave work early to meet with him.

David was great from beginning to end. He came months ahead of the date I was ready for him to do the work in our new house and stayed in contact until the install date could be agreed upon. On the day he came to give the estimate, he went over everything he would do. He even took a piece of the tile sample which was an unusual tile to confirm he could make the necessary cuts with his equipment. All in all he was prompt, detailed and clean. Job was perfect and completed when he said. He suggested the best grout color for the tile which turned out perfect. Would highly recommend. Thanks again, David.

He floated the tiles on the walls the floor and made sure he put in grout that changed colors when it got wet. he was just terrific. As Retired Contractor I watched his work carefully he did a A1 plus Job for me. What more can I say he did the job the right way. Thats what you want in a tile man all this things he is. I like Dave hes a fine man too. Yes it took me a long time to review because I want not on angies list. I have referred him to many happy people over the years, He's never let anybody down that I know that has had him do their work on their homes. Just to disclose people I am also his neighbor. But thats not influenced what have written here in anyway.

David Shannon came over as promised to give me an estimate for the job. He explained in great detail what he was going to do while listening to all my concerns. He installed my kitchen backsplash with tile and decorative inserts as well as elevating a partial wall in my kitchen that acts as a long narrow counter in order for the tiles to fit properly. He also placed my electrical box correctly on the wall that was elevated so I would not lose the use of the outlet. He attached the granite to the wall the was elevated that had been left unattached and he placed drywall all around even on the side that had no tiles. The finished wall was to perfection made the wall look like it was untouched. His work is exceptional, quality outstanding. He is extremely professional and hardworking. He cleaned up the mess actually he cleaned up more than was necessary. Did everything as promised and on schedule. Besides being a total professional he is extremely nice to to deal with. I would highly recommend David Shannon to anyone who is looking for a tile installer. I will definitely be calling him back. Thank you again David for such GREAT work.

The visit for the proposal was prompt and helpful, but a promised proposal was never provided. Another firm was then contracted for the work.

We emailed him and he contacted us right away. He came over to inspect the job ( he lives not to far from us) and gave us a quote. He scheduled the job in two sessions. one to put the tiles down, second was for grouting. Both times he was on time and completed and cleaned u after the job was completed. Though this was done last year, we didn t get the chance to write a review due to family issues (couple of deaths and a hospitalization) But I gave him my word I will send the review. Honestly, dont waste your time with other companies out there. David is a true to his word, and his work speaks for itself. He did a beautiful job and we're grateful to him to do it in between his busy schedule. I told him we are going to remodel our bathrooms and due to the situation we're in now, we will have to wait until next year. When we're ready, we will call him again. Again, dont waste your time with other people. Your homework has already been done. Very satisfied hope to use in the future

Everything went well. David showed up with a smile, as usual, and got right to work. I already had the material for the enclosure so I donned some work clothes and tried to stay out of his way. David is an instantly likable person, takes pride in his work, does a great job at a fair price.

Everything turned out well. He called us right back, came out the next day, and even arrived early for the appointment. Furthermore, he was very professional and answered all of our questions thoroughly. In fact, we intend to use his services if his estimate falls within our price range.

Dave did a great job on our somewhat complicated job of nearly 100sf. He took the time to do the tricky parts the right way and we are very happy with the turnout. Will use again someday. Price was very fair.

Everything looks fantastic. David is an all-around great guy that loves his work. I liked the fact that he took care of everything. All I had to do was pick out the tile and pay the bill.

We were looking for someone to lay glass tile on our kitchen backsplash. Luckily for us, the company installing the granite countertop suggested Dave Shannon. We looked him up on Angie's List and based on his great reviews we gave him a call. He came out the next day and gave us an estimate and also a timeframe for his availability. He kept in touch with us as the other work was being done (cabinets/countertop) to ensure our scheduled time with him was still a go. Dave was really great to work with. He came over one evening to fix a few holes in the wall that the electrician made when moving an outlet for our new oven. He patched the wall even though it had nothing to do with the work for which he was hired. During the entire process Dave was the consummate professional. He responded to any and all calls that we made with a positive attitude. Dave was also very neat in his work and didn't leave any mess in our kitchen. He did a great job putting up the new glass tile. We love how it turned out. If anyone needs a great worker I highly recommend Dave Shannon. We will definitely use his services in the future.

It's a pity as we saw good reviews for this provider, but unfortunately he did not respond as of 10/19. Update - David provided an estimate on 10/24 based on my description of what we needed (tiling the kitchen backsplash) and approximation of the Sq Ft area. This was a reasonable price and he said he can fit us into to his schedule in November. We haven't confirmed a date yet but will update the review again if we have the work completed.

I sent a question to Dave regarding a smallish tile job for my home entrance and he quickly responded. I then sent him a picture of the area, to which he not only replied with a great tile suggestion but also a recommendation to wait until the rains go away. That to me is enough to not only call him as soon as the rains go, but to keep him for the porch area down the road. Thank you for the time and honesty, Dave!
