Mike diagnosed our problem, ordered the parts necessary and called us when they came in. He called and set up a time and repaired the hot tub. He is pleasant and professional,

I spoke to Mike in the middle of January about a broken jet in my spa. I knew Mike from when he replaced my pool valves and his son used to clean the pool. The quality of Mike's work then was excellent and his is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, long story short, he just put the new jets in my spa this week, a full five months after I first hired him for the job. Back in late January, Mike said that the wrong parts came in and he had to reorder, that was reasonable. For the next four months, Mike would not answer phone calls or return calls to me or to my tenant. I finally left a voice mail stating that since he had my broken parts and I could not proceed with anyone else without those parts, he should call me immediately or I would file a police report for theft/vandalism. Mike returned that call promptly and apologized profusely for the months gone by, saying that the parts sat on his desk and the days just went by. Mike said he would fix the spa and not charge me. I am an honorable person, I said I must pay for the parts. Mike put the jets in yesterday and emailed me the bill for the parts this morning, my check for the full amount is already in the mail. Sadly, the spa is empty and disconnected and I have no way to make sure that the repair was correctly done. Bottom line, I believe that Mike is a good person who made a bad mistake. I know he is a very good technician and I hope that he has learned to never put a client through this again.

His prices are reasonable, and he doesn't try to upsell you anything don't need.

Usually his son does our pool, but he has another guy coming out. He's been real good. He's done repairs on the spa and our pool, and we just had to have a new motor for the pool and he took care of that. For the past couple of summers we've been gone extensively and they still come out-it's nice to be able to relax and know the pool is going to be taken care.
