Description of Work: He was there when he said he would be to check my pool equipment drains etc/. My pool had been empty for awhile and I had it resurfaced. He was very upfront on telling me what service he could do for me etc. He did everything and more then I expected and his price was fair. I would use him again and recommend him to my friends.

+ -1 moreAs Mike did nothing but look at the problem, I would say it did not go well. Even a communication from him saying that he was unable to make this repair would have been acceptable. No response at all was totally unacceptable.
Description of Work: We called Mike for an estimate on replacing the motor in a jetted bathtub in our home. On Monday, he spent time investigating the problem and taking pictures of the motor needing replacement, saying he would make inquiries and get back to us in two days. I never heard back from him. On Friday, I called him and left a message asking for status. I never got a response. I left another message on Saturday, again with no response. I've never had this level of unprofessional behavior from another professional, and would not recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: First visit - removed and replaced the pool pump motor. Second visit (a week later) - removed and replaced the pool pump timer located on the exterior wall.

He straightened out a new filter pump I tried to install myself. The next time I needed a new pump, I called Mike. I have given Mike''s number to two friends and they have both been very happy with his service. Mike returns calls quickly and has very good response time.

Tried to work with this contractor to correct problem with no success. Was slow to respond to requests for help and give no offer any solutions to solve the problem. Eventually installed a new generator myself at my own expense. Will not use this contractor again.

+ -1 moreI'm usually pretty good at trouble-shooting, but this time I was stumped. Mike determined (correctly) that the pump motor had some internal electrical problems and was beginning to fail. Since the pump was over ten years old, we had Mike replace the entire pump, not just the motor. He's very thorough, professional, and his prices are reasonable. We've used him for several years and continue to be pleased with his work.

Description of Work: Mike came out to repair a hose with a leak. My new 4 cartridge filter had not been working properly keeping the water clear since installed by another person when we had the pool resurfaced about 2 years ago. Previously I had a sand filter for 20 years. So I kept buying new cartridges, cleaning the cartridges, adding solutions to the water and nothing seemed to work. Mike determined the filter had been plumbed incorrectly. After he fixed it the water has been crystal clear. We have used him several times over the past 20 years and have always been pleased with the results. He knows what he is doing. I wish I would have thought to have him install the new cartridge filter rather than using the person the pool resurfacer recommended.

Description of Work: I had a leak in our pool filtering unit, and had gotten a quote before but wanted to get a second opinion. I called around the first of the month, and Mike called me back that day and said he was out of town, but would come by in a few days when he returned. He called me and came to my house, but gave me the estimate over the phone which was 125.00 LESS than the previous quote I had gotten. He also offered to do the work and just leave me the bill, which was great since its hard to be home sometimes during the day. He did a great job and I'm going to call him to do some other pool work again. Highly recommend him

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased with them. They are a company who does pool pump repair or replacement. Rather than us having to replace the pump, he was able to repair it. He was very timely. We called him in the morening and he was here in the afternoon of the same day to repair it, which put our minds at ease because water is expensive here. We were filling our pool every three days because the level was going down. My husband knew that there was something wrong; so he call him. He found the problem and fixed it very quickly.
Description of Work: I used Mike’s Pool Service on December 12th 2011. He repaired our swimming pool pump which was leaking.
