Description of Work: I initially contacted them to have a water treatment system installed. After several different contacts from company, I met a rep and signed a contract complete with Platinum Service for the first year. The system was installed promptly. | |We still had a strong odor and I started a series of calls to Culligan to get the system adjusted. Lots of promises but no tech ever showed up. This was the beginning of a long list of lies. | |The system used a tremendous amount of salt which was never refilled under the promised Platinum Plan. I had to purchase the included salt out of pocket. The manager refused to met with me and made any promise which was never followed up. | |I luckily documented all the promises and calls (I was trained by a much better Fortune 500 company). After the manager called my wife at work and called her Mrs. Ouzts (she is Mrs. Eileen Kelly at work and legally) and said he had never knew there was a problem, we knew this months old problem was never going to be resolved. | |Eileen contacted her attorney and supplied him with the installation contract with the Platinum Service and my documentation of all the calls and Culligan lies. | |Only upon contact by her attorney and threats of a lawsuit was the system removed. | |We went with a local company in Plant City and have great water and monthly service at 1/2 the price.

I called them and they were out to fix it the next day and then a month later it broke down again so I called again and told them that if they don't replace it with a new one they can come pick it up and give me my money back so they did and until now everything is going well crossing my fingers

+ -1 moreCulligan did a great job from the initial sales meeting to the installation. Stephen, the sales representative, arrived at our home as scheduled. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, cordial, and a pleasure to work with. He clearly explained all of our options, and never tried to pressure us into a decision. The new system we purchased was installed when scheduled. The installer arrived on time, was professional, completed the installation promptly, and cleaned up all debris from the installation. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Culligan.

+ -1 moreThese guys are great! We had a problem with the RO filter system filtering very slowly. The tech ended up coming twice in a few days time, with the end result of a perfectly running system. They even upgraded the water storage tank that sits under the sink with a larger unit at no charge. We do pay for the monthly service plan, but instances like this make that well worth while.

Also, he was able to notice unlike other salesman that we had everything necessary to hook up water softener; so no unnecessary drilling of holes in my garage. I also appreciate that after he tested our water he made sure that he cleaned up after himself. I can't wait to get my new system set up which was scheduled in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Stephen was willing to meet us in our home on a Sat. to give us a quote for a wonder softener. He made sure he was on time and brought all of his equipment to test our water. He was thorough and was able to answer all our questions. We set up and installation for the following week. I am very glad that we have a very little wait to finally have soft water.

+ -1 moreWe put in a call to the Culligan office. (found Culligan in Agnie's List). Girl there was very nice and said she would have their man call us as soon as possible. Within an hour, the man called and we arranged to a meeting here at home the following day. He was very personable, and showed us not the most expensive units, but the smaller ones that would be a good match for our household. He had come to us on a Saturday and the new water softener was installed on Monday by another very nice guy. Both men were knowlledgeable of their products and the installer was thorough but efficient. By buying the water softener in the month of September, we were able to benefit from a September sale which saved us $500.00. Many thanks to Culligan and to Angie'sList. The saleman noticed a Christian symbol (fish) on our door and identified himself as a Christian, too.

+ -1 moreWe had a tank that had a problem and was causing us to have low water pressure. It turned out there was a leak of resin that was clogging up the input. Once we told them we had a problem, they came out and investigated it. They took the tank back and brought it back within the time frame that they promised. They took it out Friday and brought it back Monday to put it back in service. It cost nothing because it was covered by our service agreement. They're very responsive and helpful. Basically, we called them with the problem on Monday and told us right away that the first opportunity for someone to be on site was Friday. They came on time and got the job done. I recommend them and will continue to use them.

+ -1 moreGENE DICKERT WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO POST-INSTALLATION ISSUES. THE INITIAL INSTALLER INCORRECTLY HOOKED UP THE REFRIGERATOR ICEMAKER TO THE PURIFIER. GENE SENT ANOTHER INSTALLER TO CORRECT IT WITHIN 24 HOURS OF OUR CALL. ALSO, WE INITIALLY REJECTED HIS OFFER TO DRILL A SMALL HOLE IN THE OUTSIDE WALL OF OUR BEDROOM TO PLUG THE OUTDOOR UNIT INTO A BEDROOM WALL SOCKET. LATER, WE CHANGED OUR MINDS, LET GENE KNOW, AND HE SENT AN INSTALLER OUT TO COMPLETE A VERY NEAT AND THOROUGH HOOK UP. BOTH RETURN VISITS WERE FREE OF CHARGE!
