We had rats living and nesting in our attic for a few months. We attempted to try and remove the problem ourselves but were unsuccessful. Living in an older, wood frame, elevated house, rats have been helping themselves to the place on and off for years. I have in the past hired people to deal with this issue, and have had no real solution--but did spend real money! Nuisance Wildlife (which is Bryan Cleveland) was the first time someone gave me a complete idea of the extent of the work needed and was willing to do it. He dug out around my house roughly 75 linear feet for a foot or so down and placed concrete board as a barrier rats couldn't chew through. He painted the board to match the exterior of the building. He also replaced foam insulation --left by another pest control company-- with sheet metal in various places, including soffits and roof vents. Along with this work, he set traps under and around the house for a period of weeks, being careful to secure them from my outdoor cat (which was very thoughtful and very much appreciated!). This phase of the work began in mid-August and took about 2 weeks. When it was finished, Bryan gave me a 6 month warranty. Work at my house continued off and on for a couple of months since the rats kept finding yet another way in. He responded promptly whenever I called and took care of each instance efficiently and professionally. At this time, in early November, I think the problem is solved. For the first time in years, there are no noises in the walls. Thank You!

He sealed up the area to prevent her from returning and even painted the sheet metal to match the house colors. He completed the job on time and above my expectations. I would have no problem recommending Bryan to work at my Mother's house.In addition to the good job he did with the raccoon, Bryan noticed some rat activity while he was up there and went out of his way to make a return trip on his own time, after I paid him, to install some exclusion pieces to stop that problem. Based on the reviews here I called Brian. He is very knowledgeable on rodent removal. He went all around my house and on the roof and found the areas where the rats were entering. He explained how over the course of two weeks he would get rid of the rats. He made several visits setting traps and covered all the openings with sheet metal. I have a lot of confidence that the job was done right. He also gives a 6 month warranty.

This company is very good however they no longer serve the part of Hillsborough county which I live in.

I had what I suspected were squirrels in my attic. Bryan met me, on time, during my lunch break. He did an extensive search of my attic and confirmed that it was squirrels. He gave me a quote and started trapping the next day. He is very concerned about making sure that the squirrels do not suffer. He put a shade over the trap so that the squirrels would not have heat stroke. The squirrels are released far away, not killed. After ensuring that all the resident squirrels were trapped Bryan did an excellent job of sealing any openings that the squirrels could enter my attic through. I haven't had any problems since. Highly recommended.

I found it very professional and very punctual and he got the job done. He knew what he was doing anything were to look to fix the problem. He and he professional on every level. I was very pleased with his job, and he succeeded in eliminating the problem. I don't know where he stood price-wise because I did not get other estimates. I have a bigger house than most people, the and price could be a little more than it would cost for an average house.

We have had rats in our attic on and off for many, many years. We have hired many companies to get rid of them and seal up the entry points. In May, a rat died in the attic and the odor was horrific! After consulting Angies List, I contacted Brian Cleveland, who came out immediately to remove the animal and check out our attic. He found 16 openings in our attic. He set several traps and began to seal the openings with sheet metal. For 2 weeks, he daily checked the traps and systemically and completely eradicated the problem. He's very knowledgeable, thorough, humane and professional in every way.

After Bryan came out for the estimate, I called him with the go ahead to do the work. He ordered the bird spikes and came within the week. The first day afer installation I noticed a one foot section had come loose, probably from a large bird landing on it, before the glue had dried. I called Bryan and he came the next day to reset it. So far so good.

Removal of animals was rapid and everything was done on a timely manner.

We had a problem with squirrel in our attic. Ultimately this was due to needed roof repairs. Bryan trapped multiple squirrels humanely, even did some roof repair himself to deter the little buggers, and recommended Angies list for "official" roof repair. He was timely, professional, courteous and an expert in this field. He did an outstanding job and continued to return until the squirrel problem was no longer an issue and the roof had been repaired. He was able to determine where their sources were and where they were going and he did a great job. They charged me around $600. My overall experience with them was excellent and I felt that the price was fair.

Although some work had to be done outside the house and was thus subject to weather, Bryan was always punctual and reliable as well as personally pleasant and professional. It is too early for me to yet feel 100 percent confident the problem is solved definitively, but Bryan gives a 6-month guarantee on his work. I wouldn't hesitate to use his company again or recommend it to friends.

He was very thorough and made sure that we were completely satisfied. You could tell that he had had tons of experience. We didn’t have to pay him for his second visit because he offers what I believe is a 12-month guarantee. He is a super nice guy and we are very pleased with him. I would rate him highly and would use him in the future.

The only request I would have of Brian is that he make sure that he comes when he says he would. Most of the time he did, but occasionally not. Also, I appreciate a call before hand to make sure I’m dressed, etc. In spite of these flaws, I’d call him again in a minute. He is knowledgeable, determined, very professional and pleasant.

On Friday evening, with a horrible stench coming from beneath my house, I called Bryan of Nuisance Wildlife Trappers to schedule a time for him to come over, assuming the earliest would be the next day. He came about two hours later. By this time it was dark, so he shined his flashlight on the rotting possum about 20 feet in. Hundreds of large roaches and maggots and who knows what else were having a feast. I gave him a can of Raid to stave off the roaches and he crawled under my house. He collected the animal in a bag, brought it out, then went back in and scoped up the dirt and hair left behind, then sprayed Lysol all over the area. Worth every penny!
