I contacted Bryan on September 8th because I needed help catching an Armadillo that made a mess in my plants. He quoted me $125 which he said isn't paid until he catches the animal. He also said he fills in the hole once he traps the animal. He put out the trap and didn't catch anything through the week.. He came back Friday to check and found no animal. Instead of leaving the trap he took it with him. Monday morning I waited for him to return. He didn't. He didn't show up on Tuesday or Wednesday. I called him each day attempting to make contact to find out if he was returning otherwise I would contact another trapper. No reply until Thursday when he told me he had been out of town in Georgia. (My thinking, why didn't you contact me and let me know you were going out of town or were out of town!?) He arrived Thursday late put up the trap again and the next morning a little bunny was in it so I called him right away at 8:30 letting him now he hadn't caught the Armadillo but he did catch a little bunny. He informed me he would be there some time in the morning. I kept watch on the little animal since it was fairly young and had no water or food (I'm a softy for most animals!) when Bryan had not showed up by 1pm in the afternoon I got a friend to assist me in releasing the little thing. Bryan never showed up until 5:30 that evening and the only way I knew he had showed up was I saw his truck leaving. I checked and the trap was gone again. He never knocked at the door or said anything to me. I've never heard from him again. My guess, same as another reviewer stated below, Bryan is very busy and is not able to handle all the requests he gets. I had to have someone else help me. I would NOT contact Bryan again or refer him.
Description of Work: It is what he did NOT do that gives him the poor rating. The question above asks "were services performed by the provider" and I can not say yes or no, my answer would have to be "sort of". And he was not paid because he did not follow through to trap the animal. Fortunately for me he doesn't charge until the animal is caught. See the details below.

My house was smelling terrible. I called the A/C company. They checked my attic and said everything was fine. I continued to smell a sour milk smell. I decided to call Bryan. He came out. After checking my attic, he told me that I had five areas in my A/C ducts that had been chewed up by rats. They had been living in my ducts and I was breathing rat urine all night. He was so helpful. He came back the next day with orange fluorescent spray paint and painted huge circles around each chewed up duct. I called my A/C men out again and they realized that they had not checked thoroughly enough. I had to get 7 ducts replaced. Bryan spent a few weeks trapping the rats and filled all the holes in my roof area with concrete (my house is almost 4,000 sq. ft.). I am so thankful I found Bryan. He is excellent and professional.

I called Bryan because I was hearing noises in my attic. Bryan came out and set traps for rats outside my home where the rats were gaining access. After catching 4 rats outside he then closed off the access points and set numerous traps in the attic. Over a few days he caught 3 more rats in the attic. I am no longer hearing noise in the attic. Bryan is a very nice guy and he knows his stuff! I would hire him again! But I hope I don’t have to! :) DS

They were an A+ rated provider in Angie's List. They had a lot of reviews and what everybody said was what the owner of the company did. His price was reasonable. I liked what he did. He said that he would do it and that was what he did. He came out, figured out where the pests were coming in and laid traps. They stopped and he sealed up where they were coming in so they cannot come back in in the future. He laid traps again and he was pretty much done.

We were hearing lots of movement in our attic. We weren't sure if it was squirrels, rats, raccoons or what - but it sounded like a party up there. We called Bryan. He was out of town at the time, but returned our call within a few days - and was able to come over as soon as he was back in town. He looked around - climbed on the roof, explored inside the attic area and checked other possible entry points. He gave us a quote on the spot and came back the next day to seal all points of entry and set traps. He checked the traps every 3-4 days until we felt certain everything was out of the attic and nothing was able to get in. Bryan's work was guaranteed for six months. It's been eight months since his work on our house - and so far we haven't heard a thing moving around up there. In my experience, pest control companies that say they can solve your rodent problems usually can't. Either they don't know what to look for, or they spend too little time looking for points of entry. We had two different pest control companies try to solve our issues with rodents in the attic and although they were able to trap rats - they missed the squirrels and obviously missed the points of entry. Bryan found about eight points of entry into our attic - each with signs of clawing and gnawing. They had been there for some time - so the pest control companies definitely missed them. Bryan sealed them all.
Description of Work: He sealed all points of entry so no animals could enter our home, especially the attic. He removed squirrels and trapped and removed rats.

Nuisance Wildlife Trappers were excellent, explaining thier game plan, then executing it flawlessly. Highy rcommended.!
Description of Work: We had a terrible problem with a family of racoons (we saw 5) ool deck and pool as there bathroom every night. It got so bad that the pool was not able to be kept clean. I called Brian (the owner of Nuisance Wildlife Trapper) on a Monday at noon and he was at our rental house the following morning setting up his humane non lethal traps. The first night he caught two very large racoons. The next night he caught one large racoon and one very large possum. The third night he again caught one large racoon and one large female possum with a bunch of babies holding on to her. He kept his traps set up for three more night but did not catch any additional animals but to give him a call if we found any evidence of any racoon visits. About a week later we did find some "evidence" and gave Brian a call. He came out that day and caught the last large racoon, 5 in total.

Very impressed with Bryan's knowledge and professionalism. He promised he would solve the problem and he did. He didn't try to oversell or overcharge, which I appreciated.
Description of Work: Our extermination company spent months attempting to rid home of vermin with no success. Bryan showed up the next day after I called, assessed the situation, recommended an affordable strategy (which involved blocking access points in roof and trapping). He implemented his strategy and within a couple of weeks the rats were captured and removed, Problem solved. HIghly recommended.

Mr Cleveland has a good reputation on Angie's list. Perhaps he is too busy to return calls. Would not call again.
Description of Work: Called Mr Cleveland early Monday morning. Expected a call back to discuss the problem and maybe get an estimate. Mr. Cleveland has still not called us back. Will move on to someone else. Mr. Cleveland finally called several days later and said his partner had received the message. Maybe he and his partner should have better communication among themselves. We did set up an appointment, but our pests were getting the best of us and we do/did not want them in the house. Cancelled appointment and have found someone else.

Overall well. I had climbed in my attic toward the front part and couldn't smell anything but he had to go back into the back of the attic which is cramped.
Description of Work: I had a smell in my room that I thought was a dead animal in my attic. Bryan responded to my call on a Sunday and made arrangements to come on Monday. He arrived late, but called, and he was coming after 5 pm to accommodate my work schedule and had increased rush hour traffic. He climbed in my attic, couldn't smell or find any evidence of animals. He figured that a mouse must have fallen between my walls as the smell was dissipating. I had to pay the basic service fee but he said he would apply it to another service if he had to come back out for the same complaint.

The entire project went great! I am more than satisfied and he exceeded my expectations. He is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the animals. His plan for getting rid of the animals and making sure they don't have access to my house was thorough and reasonable. His work ethic is strong, he showed up, he worked and he cleaned up the area before he left. One thing I was really impressed with is that he did not require a deposit and I paid for the job at completion. I would highly, highly recommend him. I told him when the job was finished that I liked working with him, but I hope to never see him again. He said most of his clients say that! He also provides a six month warranty in case there are any more problems.
Description of Work: I noticed a raccoon on my roof looking at me through the sliding glass doors to the pool area. I figured he was out for a stroll until I saw that the soffit was hanging down on the corner by where the raccoon was! My son and husband then told me they heard noises in the attic the night before! I needed this dealt with quickly as I was freaking out! I called A Nuisance Wildlife Trappers and talked to Bryan Cleveland the owner. He was able to come out immediately and assess the situation. I was very impressed with his knowledge about raccoons and other critters that like to live in attics in Florida! He got on the roof and saw the area where the raccoon had entered the attic, plus found another open area, so the raccoon had an escape route! He even went into the attic and saw the raccoon prints as well as rat (ewww) prints! He identified 13 areas that were open where the roof met the edge of the house where these critters could enter. He was very thorough and wrote an estimate at that time to remove the animals and also to close up all the openings. I was so happy he could do the entire job, I thought I'd have to get the roofing company out to close up the holes after he got rid of the animals. He made sure I understood the scope of the job and the time frame for completion. His communication skills are excellent. Over the course of a few weeks, he systematically got rid of the raccoon and rats and made sure the attic was free from animals before closing up all the openings. He put sheet metal over the openings and painted them to match the house. He'd just show up and start working and unless I heard him on the roof I didn't know he was around. He always kept me updated with what had been accomplished and what was left to do.

Bryan trapped an armadillo that had lived under my shed for many years. He got it the first night and continued to leave the traps out to be sure. One caught a raccoon that he re-located at no extra charge. He was polite and professional and extremely knowledgeable about his business. Would absolutely recommend him and would use again for sure.

The process lasted over a ten day period. Bryan obviously knows what he is doing. First traps were set at what was determined to be the key entry points. After these traps stop yielding rodents these openings and any other possible entry points were sealed with metal sheeting. Traps were then set in the attic to make sure all the rodents were gone. Finally Bryan went around the house with the various paint colors and painted his handy work so everything blended into the stucco
Description of Work: The service included removing rat infestation in the attic and tightening up any entry points to prevent future issues

I apologize for the lateness of this report; I had handwritten it but for some reason forgot to post. One Saturday, my husband and I were on our way out, when we noticed something on the top of our entry way. It was a raccoon! Despite my husband throwing sticks and rocks at it, it was not moving. Finally it slipped into an opening under the eaves into our attic. After reading numerous on-line articles about raccoons, we determined our best option was to bring in a professional. Brian came by on Monday, did an assessment, and provided steps on what he was going to do. He determined there were four openings in our roof that may have served as an entryway. There was also concern, the raccoon, may be female and could have had babies, which would have compounded the problem. After two days, Brian determined the raccoon was not in the attic and sealed the openings. He even painted the sealing with excess paint we had to match our home. While cutting the grass, my husband observed droppings in the back yard, Brian ascertained they were opossum droppings; set a trap and caught it. A trap was also set for the raccoon. It was caught and fortunately it was male! Brian was extremely knowledgeable, very patient with a nervous homeowner (me) and quite enthusiastic about his job. We made a referral to our neighbor less than a month later; she was quite pleased as well.

Last Sunday morning, I went into the garage and saw a large rat running up the pipes into my attic. A friend came over that afternoon and set a trap in the attic. Sometime in the evening, I heard a frantic thumping in the attic and believed that the rat was caught. My friend came back Monday afternoon to pick up the rat but could not find the rat or trap. I knew that the rat was dead or injured and needed someone to remove it. Of course I went to Angie's List and found Bryan Cleveland's company, Nuisance Wildlife Trapper, and called him about 4p on Monday afternoon. I left a message and received a phone call back tuesday morning. I explained my predicament and he said that he would come out in an hour. I asked if he was sure that he could located the rat. He felt pretty confident that he could and told me he had 20 years experience. I felt good about our conversation and agreed. To my relief, It didn't take him long to locate the dead rat. He also, proactively secured the openings and placed another rat trap in case there were other rats. I was very pleased with his service. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Two Thumbs Up!
Description of Work: Mr. Cleveland located and removed a dead rat caught in a trap that we set. He also cemented around the pipes where the opening was outside and also put a wire mesh around the pipe opening into the attic.

At the time the member called I was working out of state on a wild hog job in areas where phone service was spotty at best. When you want the best quality work sometimes you have to be a little patient, i am only 1 person and try to answer every call in a timley order. when i dont get the call because of remote areas im in I have to wait until I get back to return the calls. In this case the message just didnt get to me or the call would of been returned.

He's thorough and we are confident the problem is gone.
Description of Work: Four years ago Bryan took care of a rat problem very sucessfully. 2 years ago we redid our rain gutters with a warning to leave no access for rats to get back in. The rats were smarter than the installers so we called Bryan again. He easily found the entry point, set traps and after repeat visits and empty traps, sealed the entry.
