They explained the problem and offered to replace the broken parts with new product. They gave me the option of having them supply both parts and labor, or of my buying the parts at a home improvement store (they gave me advice on brands and quality) and their installing them.

The technician arrived promptly at 1230 PM for a 12 to 2 PM appointment, after calling while en route to say he'd be here at 1230.. He was very friendly and professional. He performed the needed repairs and took down information for some additional repairs I requested. I was very happy with the work performed and will highly recommend the company to others.

They showed up on time despite the major flooding that had occured the day before. They were very professional and looked over my garage door and were able to fix my existing door at a very resonable price. They provided quotes that I requested for a new garge door system. Got here late, but called to report his late arrival. Once here, knew exactly what to do, gave me a price of 85.00 and not only repaired the door, but made all the adjustments and the maintenance that should have been done over the years and that I had neglected. Excellent service at a fair price.

The transition from one door to the other was professional and went smoothly. The owners were on the job to ensure quality and satisfaction. We had one little glitch and they returned promptly to fix the problem with a smile. We were provided with a variety of options and their knowledge of the product led us to choose the door best suited to our needs and price range.

Everything was perfect and incomparable until we returned from an Easter weekend trip and discovered that someone had apparently tried to manually open the garage door. The sheet metal 'bar' that was supposed to stop the door from moving had the same dimensions as a tongue depressor. It snapped off. I contacted both the door and the opener manufacturer and was advised that minimal security would have been a lock on either side but that a center mounted twist bar would have been much more effective. And that a single slide bar was as useful as something or other on a boar. So I contacted Angela last Monday about the problem. She took down the contact information, commented on the issue ('I've never heard of that happening before. Someone must have tried to open the door.') and stated she would be in touch. Eight days later I'm still waiting. I still believe wholeheartedly in the professionalism and work quality of Dun Rite Doors but I was disappointed in the skeptical tone and discouraged by the lack of follow-up. Either the slidebar metal quality/construction was inferior or for some reason the second lock wasn't installed. Let's see what happens next. ------------------------------------------------ May 11th: While in the process of changing the merchant's grade, I discovered they had responded below. Never received a phone call. Have not requested an outside lock. The issue is that I was offered/sold a single lock when only a lock on both sides would have provided a modicum of security. Not interested in 'added security'; just interested in adequate security per garage door manufacturer best practices/recommendations. Luckily when my husband was on leave he showed me that one of his confined space carabiners inserted through a track on either side will provide unbreakable security. At no additional cost or annoyance.

The company was awesome. Very professional. They called having an earlier time to do the work. They were in and finished in no time. I highly recommend Dun-Rite for your garage door needs.

I called Don Saturday morning and set up an appointment for Monday, he stated he may be able to come by late this afternoon. He was able to come by late Saturday afternoon and called as he said he would and arrived 20 minutes later. He assessed the situation and gave me a price and had to do more than anticipated and still only charged me the quoted price. Don came with his son, a very capable assistant. This is a family owned business and it is a pleasure to do business with them. They are so professional and polite, and they repsect your home as well. I am proud to recommend this family owned business to everyone I come in contact with. They did an incredible job and are so very professional.

It went wonderful. The Tech was courteous and asked me for permission to get started. I got a call ahead of time and the tech was on time. Did the job in under a hour and cleaned after he was done. Took the old garage door opener and accessories. Very nice to do business. If my friends are looking for a dependable, courteous, and on time vendor for garage doors or openers, I will highly recommend Dun-Rite Doors LLC. Very pleased.

The spring on our garage door broke about 2 months ago and we called a local company to come and give us an estimate. Their price was more that our budget could spare and since the car was not trapped inside the garage we decided to just live with it until we could afford the repair. When that time came, I went on Angie's List and liked the reviews on Dun-Rite and gave them a call. They were very professional and asked questions about the door to make sure they would be able to have the right parts. They quoted me a price of $250 which was much lower that the other estimate so I set up an appointment for them to do the repair. This was on a Friday and they arrived the next Tuesday morning as promised. Doug was very nice and upon actually seeing the door told me it would only need a single spring so the repair was actually going to be $200. Needless to say I was pleased at this news. They performed the repair and gave me some tips on maintenance. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend John and his company!!!

I called several companies, but only reached answering machines with no call back. Dun-rite doors was the only company that answered the phone and allowed me to talk to a live person. Their schedule was booked until the following wednesday. I said I would call around some more. I made one more call to an answering machine with no luck. A few minutes after that call dun-rite doors called me back and said they had a crew that could come out the next day and fix my door. I was given a price quote and an appointment time on the phone. The next day the repair crew called me about 15 minutes before the scheduled time and said they were about ten minutes away. Ten minutes later they arrived. Both gents were very courteous and professional in all aspects. They had replaced the spring, inspected the door and made adjustments to my door opener in about 40 minutes. They offered advice on the care of my door and answered all my questions. These pros even wiped their feet before entering my garage. The price quote I was given on the phone was the exact price I was charged. I was absolutely impressed and pleased with my experience with the dun-rite door company.

I would have liked it to be done, but with the wrong track, they told me "No Charge". Very nice, called ahead of time, very professional and explained every thing to me as they went along with the job,

Called company on Saturday, they return the call on Monday morning. I told them over the phone that one of my springs on the garage door broke, the lady on the phone asked me several questions about my door and said they could be out the next day. I was at work but my son was home. They showed up in the time frame they stated, did the job plus lubed the door hinges and other parts. Came home and my son said they were polite and did the job and left the receipt. The door has never been more quite opening and closing. Very happy with the job and the company as a whole. The price is inline with what other companies charge. I would recommend them and use them again

I contacted Dun-Rite because my garage door/opener was doing strange things. I settled on contacting them because of all of the positive reviews here on Angie's List. My main concern was that my door/opener was really unpredictable when it came to closing and put me through a bunch of steps I would need to take to make it close properly and not just willy nilly reverse on its own. My experience with Dun-Rite, from the initial call to the office to the final follow up, was completely professional. I felt confident with the work that was performed and that the proprietor was being honest with me. They also went above and beyond and did some extra things that helped with my situation (like relocating a bracket that had loosened from the ceiling). Follow up was great, and they were always cordial and friendly. I'd use them again without hesitation for any matter pertaining to my garage door.

Provided a quote over the phone and kept it. Showed up as scheduled and provided additional routine maintenance at no extra cost (I'm sure it's built into there pricing, but it was still unexpected!). Young man doing the work was professional and courteous.

Dun Rite responded promptly to the voice mail I left over a weekend. Quoted a price over the phone. Came the next day fully prepared and equipped to make the repair. Completed the work in about an hour and a half. Very courteous and professional. Invoiced $70 as advertised over the phone which totally stunned me. Highly recommend them to anyone and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Door broke on a Saturday afternoon, I made the call to Dun-Rite doors, received a call back within a couple of hours, and the repaired was scheduled for late Monday afternoon. Doug and Dakota arrived Monday on time and completed the replacement in approximately 30 minutes. They also lubricated the door and adjusted the opener. Overall very satisified with the work performed and would recommend to anyone needing this type of repair.

After struggling to find a company to respond to my need to repair my garage door, I finally joined Angie's List. Boy did that take care of my problem. Dun-Rite Doors scheduled a time on the same day I called. The two men arrived as scheduled assessed the problem and told me the price. They reattached the bracket to the door that I had pulled off trying to fix it myself, I would not recommend that, and inspected the unit. He found a damaged gear assembly and gave me two options. I chose the least expensive option and he quickly replaced the gear assembly and aligned the system all for $120.00. Great company, honest and trustworthy.

They arrived the day after I called the company (which I found on Angie's List and chose them because of the number of excellent reviews on Angie's List) and did the repair. I was very pleased with their responsiveness as this is a rental property and the tenants were not pleased to have a garage door that would not close properly. I would definitely use them again in the future if we have any more problems.

i researched the company on angieslist first and liked the feedback/reviews that i read- i called them and got a quick response- unfortunately, they couldnt come do the repair for about 4 or 5 more days- we had been having daily bouts of heavy rain and my garage was packed- so alot of my belongings had already been exposed to the bad weather- so, although i had wished that they could have come sooner, i continued to make the appointment and did the best i could until then- they arrived exactly at the appointment day/time....i cant remember names, however, i believe that it was a husband/wife team....they were both very nice and extremely efficient- i thought that they worked very well together- i was very pleased with the cost and the work that was done...it probably took them about 25-30 minutes to fix the garage door and give me good maintenance advice to keep it working smoothly- i could definately give them a positive recommendation and wouldnt hesitate to use them again, if necessary.
