I would highly recommend this company Rob (Owner) & Kermit are true craftsmen they started the job exactly on the day they projected & finished on schedule. They were polite and always cleaned up the site. Price was as quoted no surprises. Rob did part of the job and inspected the quality daily !!! Rob also had picked our lumber for nice quality. Hiring a contractor is always a little risky but these guys are the best in Colorado Springs. Kermit advised that he has done some 400 decks in his carpenter career and Rob has 20 yrs experience in construction If I have another job I would not hesitate to just call these guys. Rating would be A+++++

Pretty good. He had issues with a sub-contractor who did some tile, but basically very well. We had a leak where the roof joined a year later and he came out to take care of it.

Rob and crew did a very good job on our deck. We worked with us on the design and was there throughout the building of it. He followed up once it was finished as well. We had a problem with the sprinkler system this spring and he had no problem having the same crew that build the deck come back and fix the problem. We would use Rob again for any project in the future.

Things went real well. Rob was very responsive and very accurate with his estimate. His crew did a very good job. We had a couple of issues we were concerned about, and he got them resolved to our satisfaction in a timely manner. Rob was very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to use him again and will highly recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Rob, owner of the company, was a pleasure to work with. Very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. He went beyond basic expectations and provided design ideas and walked through all the details in the construction process. I was informed regarding arrival times, daily expectations and final completion. RJB went so far as to add a few features that were not specifically discussed / included in the contract - because - he felt that they would result in a better finished product. Rob was very professional and punctual. I laid out what I roughly wanted and why. Rob was able to provide suggestions for better flow, water mitigation (this was just after the huge rain storm and flooding), & ease of use. Provided some pictures of his work and would provide me w/ customers names and locations once we could agree on plan & cost. Took the time to discuss composite and cedar options (good & bad), we even mapped out a plan of having our sliding kitchen door replaced with french doors and adding another door from out master bedroom. All very reasonably priced. When, in two days, Rob sent us his plan and estimate. We talked about another option and Rob provided an updated plan for that. Unfortunately for us our Motorhome didn't sell for the amount we were told it would go for. we deal via cash for house upgrades so for at least a year we are unable to upgrade the patio to a fine outdoor deck and cooking area. We would use Rob for any other work around the house based on our experience for the decking.

They did the job pretty good. Their workmanship is very good. They provided the material as they said they would, regardless the type of material I needed. The only thing is that he was a little bit behind as he underestimated the time required to do this, because there are a lot of different phases and there are people and it takes time to cure, like putting the stucco on. They had to fix the stucco because they had to cut into it to get the wood frame out. Their pricing was very competitive.

Rob was very easy to work with as he incorporated our ideas with his and made the project fun for us. He had the middle price of the three contractors that gave us a bid. Kermit was the lead worker for Rob and did an excellent & professional job. Everyday the job site was cleaned up. The quality of the materials and the workmanship is superb. This is our second time working with Rob on a major remodel. He is always professional, punctual and very easy to work with. He coordinated all sub-contracting activities and followed up on their work. Rob provided many good ideas during the remodel process, including the recommendation of an excellent kitchen designer and cabinet installer. Throughout this 8 week project, Rob was always responsive to our concerns/revisions. We would highly recommend Rob and would not hesitate to use him again on future projects.

Shop was constructed to match our home in architectural detail including; stucco detail, casement windows, fully insulated ceiling and walls, 10/12 roof pitch,and matching roof shingles to primary dwelling, cultured stone at each end of front, 100 amp electrical service, interior and exterior lighting. The shop was equipped for attic storage and pull down stair access, double entry doors with concrete ramp and concrete landing at single entry door. Rob was on time and did what he said he would do when he said he would do it, he was responsive to changes and reasonable in pricing. Rob took whatever time necessary to understand my requirements and concerns. The detail to quality was evident in all aspects, all inspections went without incident, all clean up was completed in a timely manner. The project from beginning to end was maintained on schedule in spite of numerous bouts of bad weather. Rob's crews and personnel were professional and courteous. We are very happy with the final results and our neighbors are highly complementary of the shop project and the results, the most frequent comment is "that it was done right". I would not hesitate to recommend Rob and his Affordable Views company, as I have done numerous times since the completion of our project.

From of our very first contact with Rob, he was very prompt, courteous, easy to work with, and took the time to really understand what we wanted. We wanted our new porch addition to look like it had always been there, so Rob took our ideas, made suggestions and pulled off this entire project from beginning to end. We couldn't be happier with the results. Rob and his crew always showed up on time, worked hard in all weather conditions, and did an amazing job of cleaning up on a daily basis. He stayed on top of any issue that arose and made sure that we were always happy with the results. We would have no hesitation in recommending Rob to others.

Rob and his crew were absolutely fantastic through every step of this process. Rob is extremely professional and gave us excellent advice and explanations throughout the construction process. His estimates were accurate and he always explained any changes. We had been given other estimates and Rob was extremely reasonable for the excellent quality that we received. Rob even finish a week before his estimated time on our construction as he made a special effort to complete our basement before the holidays. His subs and assistants were always prompt and made ever effort to keep the area clean. We were given excellent advice on selection of tile, carpet, paint and granite. He always made an effort to answer our questions and accommodate any of our special requests. I can only give Rob and his company my highest recommendation!

He came out quickly and was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. We made an arrangement for a certain day and his calendar had a mix-up and when I called him and he realized the problem he came immediately.

This project could not have gone better. I have had the contractor who promises but does not come through in the end which makes me very protective of the project (usually my home) and how things are handled. As promised, our patio cover looks like it was part of the original build and we couldn't be happier with the job done by Rob and his crew. From beginning to end, Rob conveyed the confidence and professionalism that is required for this type of activity. His original price was very fair and when changes came up (due to my desires and the required changes per the engineer based on my desires) the increased costs were fair and reasonable. Rob was patient with all my questions and concerns and provided on every detail we discussed. Robs crew members were punctual, respectful, and professional. The work area was cleaned up every evening and the freshly poured concrete slab they were covering/working over was protected at all times. We could not have asked for a better experience and are seriously considering having RJB complete our basement refinish (once you find trust/confidence in a contractor, why go experiment with someone else?). I would recomend RJB to anyone, without hesitation.

Our project started in mid September, Rob's crew worked to get the site ready, then proceeded to follow the plans and specifications to complete project. They did what they said they would do and showed up on time. They were always careful to let us know the progress.The project was completed prior to Thanksgiving. I would say overall the project went well.

The garage was completed faster than expected and within budget, even though Rob encountered a couple unexpected obstacles. He made several suggestions that I had not considered that resulted in improved design (after the contract and without additional cost). Rob is a great guy who is a quality craftsman who takes pride in his work. Subs and crew were early, worked hard, and left things clean and orderly at the end of the day. I could not be more pleased! I would recommend Rob without reservation and will certainly retain him in the future for other work.

We have had 2 projects done by Rob. He is very professional and provides options. I have been so pleased with the work done that I am continually recommending him to others. The overall quality of the work was excellent, Rob and his team tried to ensure there was as little impact to our family as possible. I will have to say I was a little worried about the work in the back because we have dogs. Rob's team made sure that the yard was cleaned up every night before they left which made it much easier for us--well really much easier for the dog. Even the messy jobs (scraping ceilings) were done as cleanly as possible. I will use Affordable Views again--i need a new kitchen and a new bathroom.

Rob has done work for us before so trusting him with this project was no problem. He knew what we needed and made suggestions on the size of the shed, doors and window. Since it was going to be near trees, limbs had to be cut and bushes removed. That was done in an afternoon. Next came the leveling of the area and the form for the cement pad. The cement was poured the next day and dried over the weekend. Within two days the shed was complete with shingled roof and shutters on the window. The only thing we had to do was pick the paint colors and move a flower bed. The shed is perfect for what we needed and blends beautifully into the landscape. Excellent craftsmanship, great customer service and beautiful project completed on time!

Once we settled on the plan, Rob gave us a timeline and sequence of what would be done. The first thing that was done was cut the foundation for the window well. The cut, installation of the window and the metal window well cover were completed in one day so that the house was never unsecured overnight. We gave a key for Rob and his crew to use. One person opened the house in the morning and the work crew came through the window well instead of tracking dirt and debris thru the house. Very much appreciated! The next step was accessing the plumbing in the cement floor. The plumbing and framing was next then insulation and drywall. During the whole process, Rob would drop by on a daily basis or Kermit, his right-hand man to let us know the progress and what to expect next. He was always patient with all of our questions. He let us know when to pick out the light fixtures, bathroom counter/sink, tile for the floor and shower so that is was ready when the workmen needed it. The whole process went smoothly and on time. The guys cleaned up every night so when we went down to see what was done each night, we didn't have to worry about tripping or stepping over tools. The storage area turned out so much better than we imagined. Gained storage space was far more than expected so losing space to the bedroom and bath did not impact us like we thought. Rob guarantees his work. We had provided a shower fixture that turned out to be faulty. In order to put in a new fixture, the tile had to be replaced and plumbing changed. All we had to do was furnish the tile, there was no charge for the repair even though it was our fixture that was faulty. Great service, excellent work and incredible customer service. We have used Rob for other services and have been very pleased with every project.

When I first called to get an estimate, Rob answered the phone with a very professional and enthusiastic voice.Rob and his crew did a fabulous job on my deck. The men arrived early in the morning and cleaned their mess up everyday before they left. Prior to beginning the job, Rob offered to pull up all the red terracotta stones I had laid down for my old patio. He aslo added a trap door for my secondary sewer line that leads out to the street. He went above and beyond for what was needed to be done for this job. I will definitely us this company again.

We can not say enough wonderful words about Rob Brennan and RJB Construction! When we called him, he happened to be in our neighborhood and was at our house in 30 minutes. We showed him our outdated master bath and he listened carefully to what we wanted to replace it. He made wonderful suggestions to rearrange our awkward tub/sink placement. We also showed him our small downstairs 2 piece powder room and asked for help there. Within 2 days, he emailed us a reasonable, and very detailed proposal. Rob was very willing to work with us to adjust the proposal to our price range. The proposal included specific allocations for each of the items needed in the remodel. Every vendor we worked with was impressed by how accurate Rob's estimates were. Demolition began quickly after Rob placed a trash dumpster in our driveway (after protecting the asphalt with plywood) and installing a portalet for his crew to use :) He completely protected our carpet from the front door up the stairs to the bathroom with heavy plastic. He had his crew sweep and vacuum at the end of every work day. Every thing was spotless when they left. Rob was at our house early every day work was scheduled and checked in every afternoon to follow up on his subcontractors.We were never left wondering if someone was going to show up. He kept us fully informed and followed up on every concern we had.We really appreciate his thoughtful attention to detail. He accompanied us to pick out the tile and offered great advice. He recommended vendors for plumbing fixtures, vanities and shower glass, but also allowed us to to shop on our own for whatever fixtures we wanted. His subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and painting were fantastic. He did an excellent job assuring we were satisfied with the tile work, which in the end, exceeded our expectations. In addition to the fabulous remodel of the two bathrooms, we are also thankful that Rob had the electricians remove and replace an entry way chandelier in our 20 foot high staircase, as well as tighten the newel at the top of the stairs. We are also appreciative of the skilled work done by Rob's associate, Kermit, whose excellent workmanship contributed to the overall beauty of the finished rooms.We highly recommend Rob Brennan and Affordable Views, RJB Construction to anyone looking for an extremely professional contractor. He is an ethical, considerate person, truly concerned with his clients wishes. We expect to be working with him on future projects.

The crew was on time, worked hard, and got the job done in half the time of the estimate. They were always courteous and very conscious of the most of the property.
