Excellent. Greg communicated with us as to his availability and schedule. We scheduled the work and he showed up on time on the date agreed. Greg took great care to protect our floors both in the bathroom being worked on and the pathway out to his vehicle. He worked skillfully and diligently to complete the job. We are extremely pleased with the look and function of our newly remodeled main bathroom.

As soon as he got here he laid down plastic to protect the path from the door to the areas he would be working to make sure nothing was tracked in. He hung plastic over the areas that weren't being worked on to make sure that the dust wouldn't mess it up. He worked constantly until the job was complete. Everything looked terrific when he finished and there was nothing for me to clean when he was gone.

Greg is a professional that was on time, protected all the furniture, was a gentlemen, did outstanding work, and cleaned up so you did not know he was there. He learned his trade from his father 30 years ago, and he even has plastering skills, not common today. He was at our home all day, and I would hire him again in a minute.

Mr. Golden was very responsive in appointments. Did a great job with cost much lower than other estimates I received. I appreciate that he alerted me to double check the leak spot. He is also very considering to accommodate my work schedule.

Greg replaced a section of drywalI tape that broke loose and was hanging down from my living room ceiling. I chose Greg to do the work based upon his favorable reviews on Angie's List and also the recommendation of a neighbor who indicated that Greg is a really "good guy". He did not disappoint. Greg approached this minor problem with the same preparation and professionalism one would expect if he were re[placing the entire ceiling. Both the work area and the path used to get there were protected with plastic. The work was done quickly, neatly and with a minimum of disruption. All debris and dust (very little) was cleaned up after completion. The ceiling looks fantastic. Greg was able to replace the tape section (15-20 ft) and re-texture the area in such a way that my painter believes he can simply touch it up instead of painting the entire ceiling as I had feared. This saves me considerable $$. Greg is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. I think his price was very reasonable, especially considering the results. And, like my neighbor said - he's a good guy.

Greg conducted an onsite review of the work and provided a construction cost estimate for his services, to include labor and materials. The price was acceptable and a notice to proceed was issued. When he first arrived he put down plastic sheeting over everything in the work area to protect it 5. He had all of the right equipment and did not have to borrow anything correct 6. He first cleaned the walls and ceiling to remove any dust 7. He is very meticulous about making sure his work is precise 8. He takes his quality he does very seriously and goes to great lengths to be sure it is 9. When he finished the job, he cleaned up after himself, sweep the floor and loaded all of his equipment

We called Golden and he promptly returned the phone call, set up an appointment later in the day. He did a quick estimate and returned on time to fix the issues. All repairs were done really well and he left no mess. He was very professional and easy to work with.

he did a great job! The walls and ceilings are smooth and blend well with what was already there. He covered the area with plastic sheeting and cleaned up when he was done. He moved my washer and my refrigerator in order to access two of the holes.

Our dishwasher leaked behind the cabinets. Needless to say, by the time we found out, the cabinets and drywall all needed to be replaced. I called Golden Plastering and Drywall and Mr. Golden was quick to work us in his schedule (we had to line up multiple contractors in a specific order to get our kitchen functional again). He was very prompt and professional. He recommended leaving the wall open to ensure it was completely dry and then came back out a second time to install the new drywall. Honestly he is the only tradesman I could count on to be here when he said he would. he is a true artist when it come to hard coat. not cheap but beautiful work

If every service was like Greg, the world would've a much better place. He shows up on time and is very mindful to keeping the house clean. We have nice hardwood floors and Greg made sure to tarp off everything before beginning his work. He finished in the estimated time that he gave me. I also thought it was worth mentioning that Greg is one of the few people that I don't have to worry about if I leave him at my house to work.

Mr. Golden made sure to put covers not to damage anything with the plaster and was punctual. He asked me to give him a evaluation in Angies list. I gave him an A evaluation at first because I felt terrible about his being in pain from his knees because of the job, but I really didn't like his plastering job --although I found him to be a very personable individual. I went with a texture because he said it was a third cheaper. I don't know if he gave me the 10% discount he says he gives in Angies list because he never mentioned it, but I paid much more than for another room whose ceiling I had plastered with a texture for $250.. Mr. Goldman did two room ceilings. . One had already a coat of flat plaster done by a handyman who is not a plasterer. To put a second flat coat on it required sanding and was costlier, so Mr Golden put a textured coat on it. The job was acceptable, but unfortunately I had seen two textured ceilings with much less plaster that I liked much better. After the first room I took nap while he did the second one and asked him to knock on my door when he was finished. The second room he did had no plaster on the ceiling to start with. Like the previous room he did, the ceiling in this one had had a sandy texture applied with a roller by someone who didn't know what he was doing. With, the help of my handyman, I had taken great pains to scrape off the texture (as I had done in the other room he plastered before a flat coat was applied by my handyman). Apparently because the substrate was different here ,the texture Mr. Golden applied in this second room looked even thicker than in the other first room. It seems that given the amount of plaster he put on the ceiling it would have been unnecessary to go through the expense in time and money to scrape the previous sand grain texture. Had I seen a sample of Mr. Golden's texture I would have never hired him. I went by his good ratings in Angie's list coupled with the fact he reported being in business since 1984, but it turned out he recently retired as a fireman and was doing plastering only part time before. I called Mr. Golden a few days after he did the job and told him I really had a hard time living the heavy the texture in the second room he did --the master. He said he would fix it. After a month and a half I called him daily for a week, sometimes twice a day with no response and with the consequent harmful effect on my blood pressure. I finally left him a message saying if I didn't hear from him I would assume he wasn't going to honor his promise and would re-write my evaluation on Angies list. He called me back shortly thereafter, and scheduled the remediation. The texture now looks slightly less busy, but he simply doesn't appear to have the technique to do anything other than what he does to create a textured ceiling. To me a good plastering job is one you hardly notice and uses much less plaster than what he uses. Had I not been mislead by his self reporting that he had been in business since 1984 I would have asked to see his work before hiring him and wouldn't have hired him. As I said above, a third room in the house had been plastered. It was done with great finesse by a professional plasterer who had done nothing but plastering all his life, and who charged me $250 for a job I found outstanding. I didn't call him back for the job I hired Mr. Golden for because he didn't kept his word about a wall I wanted him to plaster. My advice is to make sure that before you hire a plasterer you ask him to show you photos of his work or to produce a small sample on the area you need plastered and to check the self reporting of credentials. I learned the hard way that e plastering is an art that is perfected through a lifetime of continuous work.

The work was awesome. This is an old 1960's bathroom in a frame house. There was nothing square or level in this place. Greg Golden worked diligently to make sure all the surfaces were even and there were no awkward transitions. He worked all day until he had it just right. The sanding was so clean that only a little wipe was needed to paint. He was very careful to contain the mess and protect the old pine floors. He cleaned up all the mess like the professional he is.

Greg was professional, punctual and did what he said he was going to do. He was responsive to my phone calls when I needed estimates and appointment times. He fit me into his busy schedule to complete the work so the painters could remain on their schedule. He was quiet and unobtrusive. He arrived around 9 and left around 5. He was thorough in his cleanup.

I called Greg and left a message. He called back later that day. We met to see job. He gave me an estimate but said it would be about 2-3 weeks before he could get to it. He called me back the next day to say he could fit it in the following day. He showed up on time (just him, no crew) and finished by end of day. Job looked great. Greg listens and communicates well. A real skill to do actual plaster (not joint compound) where is has to go on perfect, with no sanding.

I appreciated that not only did he do a good job, he finished it properly and most importantly he set up the plastic to keep the drywal from getting every where. I would recommend him to anyone.

Greg did a great job. He kept the house very clean and the finished job looked great. He especially did a good job in the foyer replacing the old, cracked plaster ceiling with drywall.

He was meticulous in both preparation and workmanship. It is difficult to tell where there had been damage. Thus, we highly recommend him for drywall work or finishing. He is a true professional who takes pride in a job well done. When he completed the job, there was no mess to clean up.

He did an excellent job even added an access panel to allow better access to the breaker box wiring from the top for future expansion I would recommend him. He is honast and trustworthy.
