Excellent. Greg called every morning to let me know he was on his way, cleaned up the mess at the end of the day. So organized. His work is impeccable and we are so happy we hired him. Greg was very responsive, I called him requesting an estimate and he came out the same day to look at my issue. He came back the next day and fixed the two holes in my wall. He was very professional and friendly, and did an excellent job repairing my wall.

Bob did a great job! He's actually an artist as he matched the skip trowel design of surrounding 24 feet of drywall exactly. Bob was prompt with estimate, showed up on time, put up protective tarp to minimize dust, cleaned up afterwards such that you couldn't tell he was even here. He also knew exactly what cause the damage in the first place. All the damage was alone joints along the ceiling truss joints for which the adjoining drywall had never been screwed in place. This had caused the plaster to crack over time due to thermal expansion & contraction. He fixed this problem be screwing both adjoining drywall section into the ceiling beams. Great job!

Greg told me that he expected to complete the job in 1.5 days. He showed up on time and went straight to his work. He made sure to lay down plastic to keep the drywall mess/dust contained. The wall and ceiling patches came out better than we expected. Clearly Greg is a master at his craft. You really have to be looking to see where any patch was done. The ceiling texture was a great match. I would definitely hire Greg for additional projects we have in the future.

Mr. Golden was the consummate professional. In providing us a quote, he explained how he would: a) erect a plastic containment curtain and floor protection to prevent plaster from being spread through the house; b) excavate the cracked area and create a wedged channel that would help hold the replacement plaster; c) install screws through the existing plaster to pull it tight to the sealing; d) fasten mesh tape to hold the new plaster; e) install the plaster and smooth it; and f) clean up afterwards. Mr. Golden did exactly what he said he would, on time and on budget. He also repaired a small area of the ceiling we hadn't noticed, at no extra charge. He was able to complete the work in one full day, rather than in the two days another contractor said would be needed. He was very polite and considerate. Based on our experience, we would recommend him without reservation.

Greg came out and spent the better part of a morning helping to teach me how to make the repairs myself to save a lot of time and money. Said if it ran into trouble or it didn’t look right to give him a call. I really appreciated putting my needs and interests over a quick sale. If I ever come across the need for work I cannot do, I will definitely call him again!

We had plumbing work completed for our upstairs bathroom through the ceiling of our kitchen. The plumber cut a large square in our popcorn ceiling and we tried to repair it on our own using a spray can of popcorn and it looked terrible. Golden came out and repaired it and it is flawless. You cannot tell that a section of popcorn ceiling was every removed. He was also very neat and there was no dust or any other remnants of his work around the kitchen. We were very pleased.

Greg was fantastic. We got other quotes that were less expensive, but we've seen enough horror stories from homeowners who went with the lowest bidder to know that you get what you pay for. Greg's professionalism, and flexibility to work in an occupied home, while respecting the owner's schedule and convenience was what sold us. Sure it would have been great to get the job done in a day or two, but we prefer the security of having only one stranger in our house, as opposed to an entire crew. Greg noticed several problems with our ceiling during the job, and fixed them, without charging us any more for the job. After all was said and done, we definitely got our money's worth and I am grateful we decided to go with Greg. We would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to others.

Greg replaced a section of water damaged drywall and fixed a very bad drywall job by the former homeowner. Both areas look amazing, and as though nothing ever happened. Greg went above and beyond taping and masking off wires I had hanging from the wall, and working around other issues.

The quality of the work is excellent. He repaired cracks in our walls that ran the length of the ceiling in some rooms and were > 1" wide on some walls. He re-repaired work that had been done poorly by prior contractors. The repairs are done beautifully. Mr. Golden is meticulous about his work, charged less than other plaster repairers I'd contacted for estimates, and is extremely respectful of customers. He left our house and his exterior work areas spotlessly clean. I recommend Golden Plastering and Drywall without reservation. He is a true craftsman.

He masked the walls, doors, floor and carpet so cleanup was minimal (a quick vacuum). He matched the surrounding ceiling so well that the repair is seamless.

We could not have asked for better craftsmanship and professional, yet friendly, service. We tend to be perfectionists, and were completely happy with Greg's dedication to the task, willingness to answer questions, and especially, the fit and smooth finish of the completed drywall. He prepared the work area by completely walling it off and protecting the carpet with plastic to prevent dust and damage to our home. There is no sign of unevenness of joints where the new drywall meets the existing drywall, and he matched the texture pattern of the original ceiling very closely. The overall surface is smooth and ready for painting, which is doubly impressive, because he did little or no sanding to achieve that following application of the "mud" (joint compound). Even without considering the reasonable price charged for the full day and a half's work, we would use Golden's services again.

I was unsure of the process as I had been familiar with skim coating with uneven plaster walls. This process is a bit different with similar results. Greg Golden is a person with many yeas of experience whom I felt comfortable with in our home. The painter that was hired to paint over the work said that he had never seen such a perfect job with this process. My painter is a person with many, many years experience.
