Handyman Howard

I called Howard on the 23rd, and arranged for him to come over and give me an estimate on Wednesday the 25th, at 10:am. He never showed up or called. I called at 10:45am and left a message. He never returned my call.

I was impressed with him. He was reasonably priced and he did good work. He was flexible and able to work around my schedule. He stuck with his quote even though it took him longer to complete the job.

I used Howard a second time and will call him to come back for further work which I need When you have a good thing I'll use it over and over THANKS FOR THE LEAD

It wasn't the greatest experience and I wouldn't use him again. His professionalism wasn't the greatest. He brought a helper who smoked cigarettes outside of my doors. The work took a lot longer than it should have because they purchased material from some people that wasn't that great and had to go back several times to get the right stuff. The fence that he repaired at the back is kind of unleveled and crooked. I am not probably going to use him again. His price was reasonable.

Howard has been great. His work has been excellent.. We continue to use him for projects around our home.

Work was done quickly, efficiently and professionally - GREAT!!!

Howard was punctual and always was there when he said he would. He replaced some of my wood siding with hardieplank. Aside from doing a GREAT JOB, he was the cleanest worker I have ever had, you could not even tell he was doing work at my house. Already have plans to hire him again

Beware, I'm a very thorough and tough reviewer,...I give C's and D's out without hesitation! This website only works if everyone else is honest, fair and consistent in their reviews. So please give out average and poor reviews when they rate it. I called Howard and set up an appointment for him to come look at several different items at my home. 1) He replaced a float mechanism in one toilet (the toilet would not flush without fiddling around with the float mechanism on the inside). 2) He found the problem in another sink drain and explained what needed to be done/replaced (an easy fix that I did on my own). 3) He replaced a kitchen sink fawcett. 4) He also looked at several other things that he will fix/work on in the near future for me. He was slightly late on arrival, but he did call to let me know that he was running behind. His price for his services was very reasonable and affordable!! He was also very curteous and professional. He has done outside patio tile work for me in the past (even in the rain!), and in the near future, he will be doing; ceiling, wall and wood flooring repair for me,....possibly also doing interior painting. As you can tell, I highly recommend Howard and I have recommended him to a lot of my neighbors for different things that they need done around their homes.

Overall, the experience was good. He understood the job and what it involved, he seemed very honest, arrived on time, and he did what he said he was going to do. He was reasonably-priced. I'm happy with his services.

He's reliable, trustworthy and when he's supposed to appear he appears. If he's not going be here for any reason he calls. He takes pride in what he's doing. It's not a rush job, he has a lot of patience and he's just a nice person. He does very good work and he's my guy. If anything comes up I would call him. His clean up is excellent, he puts everything back and closes everything up. I had a couple of leaks and he had to redo the ceilings and that was more of a bad job. He's going to come back and help my husband do some work.

From the estimate he seemed like he would be very good. I'm going to call him back because he seemed like a really honest guy. I liked what the other people said about him. He just seemed very honest.

I am going to use them again next week. I liked the reviews that were on Angie's List about them. Once I called they responded quickly to my message. His prices were much more reasonable than some of the other options. He was very professional. He did not leave any messes. He took everything with him and did the work very quickly. In fact, he completed the job faster than he had estimated. He was a tad sloppy in dress but he did a good job.

He only did partial work and it wasn't a full tile job. It was partial on each bathroom and it was a small portion that he worked on. He was the one who called me back the quickest. Handyman Howard was okay, but his helper was out of it and broke a few tiles. May be he was just having a bad day and that was the only problem I had. He was great. He came out here, he gave me a fair price for the work he was doing. He was prompt and the work was completed without a problem. It's been six months and everything is fine and I haven't had any problems at all. He did a good job. I would recommend him. If I am looking for him on Angie's List, I would want to look at how he is rated, if he has a valid license and also check if he's had any complaints. He was pretty good at responding. He was very punctual and professional. If I come across any tile problems, I would definitely use him in the future.

Howard came out for a free esitmate, he gave me two prices one per hour and one flat rate for the job. We scheduled a day and he come out on time and stayed until the job was completeand done right. He ran into a few problems along the way but figured it out and completed it. Howard is polite guy and curteous and follows direction. I was happy with Howard and will use him again. HIghly recommended!

Howard was very punctual, polite & professional. He spent a very long day in cold/wet weather removing outside floor tile. He sanded down the concrete prior to installation of the new/recovered tile, and also trimmed/sanded up some areas that were not to be tiled. Cleaned up the majority of mess afterwards (there was a huge mess,...concrete & grout dust mixed with rain). I cleaned up the rest after the grout/thinset set up a day later. The cost was very reasonable compared to other contractors. Probably will hire for other issues around the home later on.
