Handyman Howard

This business must be out-of-business or changed their phone number and forgot to update here... I left two messages and nobody called back for days.

Handyman Howard arrived on time for the scheduled service, which he provided in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.

Fine. No issues at all. Great service.

Howard is polite, honest and punctual. If he doesn't think he can do a job, he will tell you. I trust him with a key to my house.

He wasn't so good on the gutter guards. I think he isn't comfortable with heights, but he had a friend help and it worked out fine. He did an excellent job on the shower and set up the hurricane shutters before the storm and at a reasonable price. Howard is honest, professional, punctual and generally good. If he doesn't feel comfortable with a project, he will tell you.

They were very prompt, kind, courteous and happy to teach me a few things. They pointed out some things that I need to do to prevent some other unrelated problems that will arise. They aren't licensed plumbers so they said I should call one for those issues. I really like that. They seem to care. Their rate is $35/hr, min 2 hrs. Really nice guy and his brother. As my granny would say, "good ol' country boys." Will definitely call again.

He sent his nephew, but he was very cordial and nice.

It went great. Howard always showed up when he said he would. If he had a delay, he would call well ahead of time. He was courteous and prices were very reasonable even with some on the fly redesign due to some minor design changes. Eventually, he made a well built, strong, and quite functional permanent fence and gate system that looks as intended. Howard was easy to work with, flexible, and communicated very well about job, materials pickup, and scheduling work at our home. I gave a tip because he and his crew did such a good job salvaging my design when it looked like it might not be strong enough. (the fence/gate system is quite sturdy) I cannot more highly recommend Handyman Howard and his small crew. They were a pleasure to work with and even picked up all the large materials I purchased at Home Depot because I could not get it home on my own. My project is now painted and looks fantastic.

The Provider showed up at the scheduled time and date. The job was simply to do some minor calking on a master bathroom shower, to prevent tiles from leaking. The provider has a two hour minimum rate, which I knew about when I hired him. He came with his assistant who performed the actual work, which took maybe 20 minutes at most. After I looked at the work some time later, I noticed that they missed an area that was supposed to be calked. I called the next day, and the provided came the following day to complete the task, at no additional cost. I was disappointed that the work was not completed correctly the first time. I don't think I will use this provider again.

I needed to replace a chandelier in a 2-story entrance. After weeks of waiting to hear back from another handyman about when his tall ladder would be available and then finding out it wasn't tall enough, I got a quote from an electrician for $$$$$. When I called Howard, someone answered, gave me the info and set up the appointment. He came with someone else, they checked what size ladder was needed, rented it and installed the chandelier no problem. A few chains weren't hanging properly and they went back up to make sure it was perfect. Since there was a 2 hour minimum, I had them hang a rod in my laundry room too. Would definitely use again!!!

It went well. He and his brother worked hard and got everything done timely and for a fair price. They also fixed a few other small things for free. I recommend using him and would certainly use him again in the future.

The work went very well. After completing the requested task, he checked our other closet shelves and found a primary bracket which was pulling out of the wall. Essentially, he found another accident waiting to happen. He and his assistant put that bracket back into the wall securely and added bracing to several other closet shelves. The overall work was completed in a timely manner and the cost of all the work was very reasonable.

Howard replaced my bathroom vanity, an electrical outlet, and did painting for me. Howard Wolfe was reliable, honest, and in this day and age, one of those rare individuals who is truly a person of integrity. Do not hesitate to hire Howard.

It is going to be fine now, I hope he will take me back as a consumer who made a big mistake. I have talked to him on the phone and he sounds like a very nice person. I will write a letter to Angies list and to howard. I am trying to make thing right.

It all went so well and his work was so efficient that I will definitely call him back. There is a complete sense of trustworthiness with this man.

Howard and his assistant David were punctual and polite and cleaned up after themselves. The job took 3 hours just as promised, they even pointed out other areas that may need service in the future. The I would highly recommend and use Howard the Handyman for all my household projects . Also their administrative assistant, Suzi, was very pleasant to deal with!

Howard arrived promptly for our appointment and provided an estimate. I asked Howard to perform the work. He set a date and completed all the work as promised. I'm very satisfied with the repairs. I will hire Howard again.

Howard and his brother David were amazing. We had a week to get the place ready for my mother to move in and found Howard on this list. Howard was there the next day with his brother and both worked hard throughout the week to have the home ready. Both Howard and David are very very nice people and very hard workers. They had good ideas, were able to identify what they could and could not do, were punctual and are all around wonderful people. The work they did removing the wall paper and painting was amazing- it was a difficult task to ask anyone. They acknowledged they had done some of the work in the past but had never tackled a job this difficult - yet felt they could do it. When we said yes, they jumped right in and went to work and did a wonderful, wonderful job.
