They were wonderful. They came on time and were very professional. The price was good and the people were very nice.

I spent about $2,000 on the carpets. Their salesperson was excellent. The installer was good. I would use them again in the future.

They came in and installed three rooms of laminate flooring. The quality of their service was excellent!

I have used Capitol Carpet countless times over the past 20 years. LOVE this company. They employ their own installers rather than sub-contracting them, so your service is always exceptional. They sent someone out to measure my room, called me with an estimate, made an appointment to install, arrived on time and did an amazing job. I can't say enough about this company. I've recommended them numerous times and will continue to do so.

Everything was good as expected. The carpet is still holding up.

I would grade them highly. They were good. I would say overall they were pretty good. There was one thing that I didn't like and I don't know if it was their fault entirely. But the laminate that they suggested, which is what I put in, I wasn't 100% happy with it. There was nothing wrong with it, but I guess I didn't realize that there would be small spaces between the laminate. That's the way the laminate was designed and I didn't realize it. Even though they gave me samples I didn't realize it. I didn't notice until it was installed. Most laminate isn't really that way. Normally you can't see any seems. This was designed to show the seems. I'm not sure I'm really happy with that. I'm also not sure that they didn't anything wrong. It's just that I didn't realize how the end product would look laid down. I like the design that I picked. It just turned out that I wasn't 100% happy with how it turned out, but again I don't want to blame them entirely. The salesman was fine. The workers were fine. Everything turned out the way it said it would except for the one little glitch there. That's the way the laminate was manufactured and suppose to look and I just didn't realize that I wouldn't care for that look. It's still nice and quality laminate. There is nothing wrong with it.

I had a terrible experience with them. I went to another company because of the fact that I was going back and forth trying to buy ceramic tile for my studio. I found a tile that I just fell in love with. So I went back three times just to make sure that it was the one that I wanted. He then gave me a quote. Then I picked up another one that was like $1.69 or $1.65 a square foot and the previous one was like $1.71 a square foot. So he went back to his computer to do a figure and it was higher. I wondered how it was possible. Then I chose another one and that went even higher. He got very upset with me. So I said that I will go back and deal with the guy that I had been dealing with. He told me that he was the supervisor and his price was the final one. I really liked this tile and I was not into personality. So I went to see if the guy was there. He was there and another guy was there. I told him that I had been there a couple of times and that I really wanted the tile. I told him that every time I came in it was a different quote. Then the manger jumped in and told that it was because I had a different square footage. He then began to argue with me. It was the same manager. I then said that I have had enough no matter how much I loved the tile. I went to a different company and bought the tile. The pricing was about a $100 more. But I decided that it wasn’t worth the hassle. Though I am an easy going person, I didn’t want to spend money with someone who treated me in a nasty manner. Their professionalism was awful, especially when it was from the manner. We are planning to buy some wood flooring. Though they had some beautiful wood flooring that was a little bit higher than the other people. But I just think that customer service is very important. My concerns were that if they behaved in such a way when I was going to pay them, then how would they behave when I have an actual problem. I probably won’t purchase anything from them. Frankly, they are not the cheapest people in town.

Would use them again and that's the highest form of praise.

SALESMAN ARNIE KNEW WE WERE SHOPPING AND BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE SURE WE WERE HAPPY. WE KNEW THE PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE, BECAUSE WE WERE MISLED BY SO MANY OTHER DEALERS. THE INSTALLATION WENT WELL, FOR BOTH WOOD FLOOR IN OUR MASTER AND THE 210 YARDS OF CARPET.

They did everything exactly as expected. They showed up on time and finished the job in under the time they said it was going to be. I didn't price shop, but I thought their pricing was fair. I will still use them in the future.

The bathroom and floor look wonderful. We have gotten many compliments about the transformation. The company is very concerned that customers are satisfied; the owner's mother called after the job was completed to see how we liked the outcome. The store manager has followed up along the way as well. They have gone out of their way to make sure we were happy.

We went to the Capitol Carpet and Tile store at Congress and Hypoluxo to select carpeting for new home. We worked with Rich Luppowitz. He seemed pretty knowledgeable, and we eventually settled on a carpet we liked (we used the same carpeting throughout). We were told it would take about 10 days before they could install, and everything happened exactly on schedule. I also dealt with Kevin when paying the balance, and he was good too. We replaced all the existing carpeting, which was in pretty bad shape. Everything upstairs and one room downstairs are carpeted, as are the stairs. The job took all of Friday and a good part of Saturday to complete. Some of the old carpeting had already been ripped up (but not removed) by painters who were in there before we installed the carpeting. We hadn't moved in yet, so the house was empty and there nothing to move around. The installers had to run our heat to warm up the carpeting so that it would stretch properly during the installation -- they told me if it doesn't get stretched enough during installation, it wrinkles later when things warm up. The lead installer wasn't the friendliest guy in the world, but he and his partner did a great job. They worked really hard throughout. We've been living in our new home for about 6 weeks, and I haven't noticed any problems. None of the seams are visible, but you can feel them when walking on them (not a problem), I would definitely use Capitol Carpet and Tile again, and recommend them.

THE PROJECT WENT VERY WELL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

The products include major brands like Mohawk and Shaw. I searched multiple flooring stores and what stood out immediately when I walked into Capitol was how friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful KEVIN was in the showroom. I walked into stores where the sales folks and owners were unprofessional or non-chalant not to mention not informative about the products. They came out and removed the carpet in the home immediately even before the new products had arrived because we were desperate to get the former owner's cat dander and yuckiness out of the house. The carpet guy and the laminate installers were so friendly, timely, and professional. The lady, Shelly, who schedules installation was also friendly, timely, and helpful (I had questions about preparing the floor and she got an installer on the phone for me). I can't stress how patient and friendly and PLEASANT the entire buying process and installation process has been. I can't speak for other showrooms run by Capitol nor for other salesmen at the same store since I didn't really deal with them. I will say that I briefly interacted with 2 other men from the Hypoluxo store, and while friendly enough, were just not at the same caliber as Kevin Kolb. Only negatives were that the original measuring guy was unable to get to the house to measure (it was holiday time) but he sent another guy who was AWESOME (friendly, cute, and professional...had fancy gadgets for measuring too). The other negative is that you pay for half the job and then pay the other half after installation which if you pay by credit card means you have to drive all the way back to the store before the job is completed to pay since installers only can take a check. That being said, the guy at the store (Rich) was totally easy-going about it and said that for the carpet install I could come after it was done (not before completion like the laminate) or even the next morning. Impressed with them overall.
