Description of Work: they came out and did an inspection of my chimney they were very informative and even took pictures so I could see what they were talking about. I needed several repairs to my chimney and will have them do it.

Description of Work: Standard chimney cleaning. Estimate to make other repairs was 50% higher than another estimate I received, and ARC declined to apply my $100 repair credit to filling a few minor hearth wall and floor cracks - so I easily did it myself later with about $1 worth of refractory mortar. ARC also advised me that they could not replace my log starter fitting because it was 'related to natural gas'. Why is that? The gas was turned off, and ARC is supposed to be able to repair such fireplace/chimney-related problems. I'd use them again for a future chimney cleaning, but that's all, as I feel their $100 repair credit was merely a come-on to elicit far bigger repair business, and the hefty estimate I received would surely have allowed them to recoup that credit, and then some...

Description of Work: They inspected and cleaned my chimney and fireplace. They climbed up on the roof to make sure there was no leakage or water damage around the chimney. They were extremely professional and performed their work quickly and efficiently.

Description of Work: When the service guy came in I showed him the fireplace. He told me he had never seen a fireplace like mine, i.e., all glass that didn't slide sideways for him to be able to get into. He asked me how did I open it and I told him I didn't know. I got the manual for him and looked at it, pulled the part below the glass and tried to look inside. He told me what he used to inspect the chimney he wouldn't be able get in nor would it fit. He said overall it looked good though. ?? Then he went up on my roof and said that looked good. He was very professional, nice and HONEST because he said he had only been on the job for one year.
