It was okay, they were very professional and on time.

Waitrd two months for an estimate. Agreed on work to be done and pre-paid 1/3 of estimate. Would have to wait another two months for work appt. Only date available was a date when I would be out of town and could not be there. ARC would not give another date. Advised that son has mental disabilities and would probably not answer door. Told access to house inside was not necessary. Told ARC not to ring doorbell and just do the work, but re-iterated that I was not comfortable with his trying to do the work without my being there. On the day of the work, ARC rang bell anyway. Son chased them off, ARC will not return prepayment. Filing complaint with MSBOC. ThEY took the money and ran. Will not come back to do work when I am there and will not refund prepayment. hey fit in to the catagory of all the other post Katrina crooks.

The two men came on time, did every well, left no mess.

Not well, to me, as they advised that we need a new lining for the chimney at $1000 as both companies who were supposed to have done the relining for the past two years (at $1000 each) had not done it correctly.

I just bought my house and wanted an inspection before I started using the fireplace. Lucky for me that I did! I found out that it was unsafe. Now I have hired them to fix it so I don’t burn it down.

Although they say free estimates on Angies list they told me they did not do free estimates and wanted to charge me. When I told them they said free estimates on Angies list they said "Angies list does not keep things up to date". i need this estimate for my insurance company so I can get the repairs done and would have used them for that if they had honored what it says on Angies list. I feel they are taking advantage of those of us that have been damaged by hurricane Michael. Because so many need these estimates they feel they can get away with it. very unhappy with them.

Serviceman, Wayne, arrived promptly at designated time. Provided excellent service in the chimney cleaning and chimney inspection on the roof. Would definitely hire again. EJ Leche

I live in New Orleans area and this company is from Florida panhandle. They only visit NOLA once every two weeks or so they told me. I was at least 3 weeks between scheduling the initial appt and the actual appt. The initial inspection went well and they told me a special chimney cap would have to be ordered for my 1976-built house. I paid half and waited to hear back. 2-3 weeks later, they come back to install only to tell me that endangered birds have nested in my chimney since the initial visit so we will need to wait until the birds leave in order to install. I was not told this prior to paying them money. I initially called late April and the second appt was not until July. What I thought was a simple installation has now turned into a 6-month process or so it seems. I complained to management about their unprofessional sales approach and was told I was not a nice person and they refunded my money and told me to get the work done elsewhere.

leaking at top of box right over glass doors onto the floor but not inside box turned out to be from broken disintegrated roof tile right at the point where chimney meets house, but inspection showed cracked back refractory, 4 feet of liner disconnected and bent out of shape, chase cover not attached in any way and too small and pooling around the neck, numerous spots of cracking and missing mortar on outside. I could confirm these findings on my own from the ground and the inspector took photos on his phone from the top to show me the inner workings. good to find out these problems before we sell the house. they came out within the week for the inspection and completed the work with a scheduled apt within 3 wks. they resolved all of our issues quickly and professionally and friendly and even followed up with a call to check after we got the first rain after repair. we also waterproofed the chimney to protect the mortar repairs and the rest of the old mortar for a 10 year warranty. the chase cover has a 15 yr warranty. very nice experience with the company and workers.

We had a 1st visit to determine the type of service and the extent of the work. The details of the services and the price was perfectly explained. The team was there on time and performed the needed service with precision and with a minimum time. Overall we were very happy with the service and the price. The team members are very knowledgeable and friendly, which is a plus as well.

It went very well. Both individuals did an excellent job and were both quick and kept the job clean.

not good, gas plug removed, estimate for repair ended up being for unnecessary work and very expensive

I purchased a coupon for a service visit to inspect my gas log set. ARC kept me apprised of my appt. The representative called to say that he could come an hour early, which I agreed to. He was punctual and found and repaired a gas leak with my logs.

Inspector showed up early and performed visual inspection of fireplace, wood stove , and chimney. Seemed very knowledgeable on subject. Made several valid recommendations for maintenance. Plan on hiring this summer for additional work on chimney for waterproofing. Prices seem fair.

We made the appointment (12/27/17) to have the chimney stack cleaned . ARC (Brandon) climbed onto the roof (1 story) and said the chimney pipe was not secured properly. After looking at the stove and the stove pipe he said that we needed a new stove pipe, chimney pipe, ceiling support box ,and the chimney pipe needed to be secured properly (apparently the wires securing it had broken off). The quote for this work was $2450. The pipes seem solid to me, and he did not explain to my satisfaction why all that expensive work needed to be done. I had to pay ARC $125 for what turned out to be an ESTIMATE ONLY. In my experience most contractors, including the one who came out today, do not charge for estimates, and certainly not $125. I got an estimate today from another contractor who said the pipe appears fine, but that the chimney pipe does need to be secured to the roof ; his quote (including cleaning) was less than $400. Although I cannot comment on the quality of ARC's work (as only an estimate was done), I can say that $125 is a lot for just an estimate and, after pricing 6" black stove pipes and class A chimney pipes on the internet, the estimate seems high.

Work was done quickly and neatly and I was alerted to a problem that had gone unnoticed previously.

Excellent. Person was on time, courteous, and through. When he cleaned up and the area was cleaner than when he arrived.

Did an excellent job. The worker was very professional and polite. Explained various things I did not know. Arranged logs and sand propperly!

The service provided was excellent. I heard from Christian the morning of the service and he arrived within the time frame stated. He was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. I was provided with a final checklist of the entire gas log system before he left and also instructed on how best to use the system. I will definitely use them again next year and will also request Christian.

Service provider arrived on time. Cleaned chimney and fireplace, and left the area tidy. I also got instructions on safe operation of the gas logs, since it had been a while since I had used them.
