ARC Chimney Sweeps

ARC was very prompt and efficient.

They are very nice and professional - I would definitely recommend them and will use them again. We didn't need a lot done as this is a newly purchased home, but we wanted to be safe and get a second opinion and make sure everything was still in great shape. They were very detailed and took a picture of the top of the chimney and explained when it will need to be replaced as well as patiently explained to me how a gas fireplace works, which I imagine is a pretty funny question (I've always had wood!) I hired them using a deal on Angies List, so it's possible that I might have overpaid a smidge as we didn't need cleaning, however I don't regret it given the quality of the service. They seem like trustworthy, good people which is important to me when hiring someone to come into my home.

The phone call the day before service confirming the service call was very professional. The service technician was punctual and knowledgeable. He prepared the area before his work and cleaned up when the job was done. There was no indication of a service man or service call when he left other than the smile he left with. GREAT job, keep this one!!

They were great. Just one guy came out to do the chimney sweep. He was there for probably an hour. He left our mantel and hearth pretty dirty.

The serviceman showed up on time and did a good job of cleaning the fireplace and vacuum the chimney.

it went very well, had no problem did what was needed in a very pleasant attitude. cleaned top of chimney and then came in house inspected the stove pipe and cleaned what fell down chimney also inspected stove to make sure in good working order.

The provider was on time and very personable. However, when he left there was a dusting of fine black dust on floors and furniture. The filter on his back was either old or clogged. Also, he was to contact me with estimates for lining the chimney or installing gas logs but I have not heard from them. That doesn't seem to be good business or professional.

They did a great job; cleaned the chimney, covering the area and cleaning up so there was no mess afterwards. The chimney had a smoke odor we were hoping to get rid of; they advised it may be deeper in the chimney bricks and thus it might remain, and gave some tips about what to do if so. But they did such a good job that the smell is gone!

Making the appointment was a snap. The office staff was pleasant and they called the day before the appointment to verify everything. Michael was timely, personable, professional, thorough and in good cheer. He found a problem. Took photos. Explained the problem clearly. I hired them to do the repairs in several weeks. I will highly recommend ARC.

The two gentlemen providing the service were polite, respectful of me, my mother, my home. They were extremely careful to cover all floor area adjacent to the fireplace with a plastic tarp. They were thorough, I felt, and finished without a lengthy stay. One was "in" the fireplace, the other on the roof. They presented me with a receipt / invoice, explained what they had done, along with maintenance that would improve the working and efficiency of my fireplace and gas logs. I did not choose to have any further work performed at this time. But, I would very probably have this team back to do any such work.

They were nice. They were great. They worked with me. They worked so quickly so I wasn?t able to see what the outcome was. I wish I would have been able to check the outcome before they left.

They were on time and did a good job. There was one spot that needed repaired and they took a picture of the problem so we could see the issue and understand why it was a problem.

Everything was satisfactory.

Tyler was very informative about exactly what he would be doing to my fireplace and chimney. He informed me that my fireplace and chimney are in good shape showing no signs of any fire or smoke hazards. My system is ready for the burning season!

WithThey arrived exactly when they said they would, after calling beforehand to ensure the time was still good for me. He came in, spread out tarps to ensure my floors were protected and then vacuumed out the diety fireplace and cleaned out the liner of the chimney. Then he went up onto the roof and inspected the works up there. it took about 1 hour task and then he wrote me a work order staying there were no problems and declaring the chimney safe to use. he was extremely friendly, even to my dogs, b and very professional and seemed quite knowledgeable of his craft. After he left, he called and said he'd forgotten to close the flu, and offered to come back to do so, even tho his next appointment was over 2 hours driving time away. I of course told him I could close the flu myself, but I was flabbergasted that he even offered to come back to do so.I am SO HAPPY with ARC and will definitely use them again as well as recommend him to my neighbors. The guys showed up on time and were very professional. They found some things that they said needed to be replaced and the estimated costs were very high so I didn't get that done.

Very courteous and professional. Arrived on time, and another crew even came over to assist/ensure our new set of gas logs was installed properly.
