The chimney sweep who was here was friendly and professional. He give me a complete run down on all the things I need to have repaired and why these repairs would help. My home inspection had given me a hint as to the problems already. The total cost of repairs is a bit much but Connor gave me a plan to do things in stages.

It was a little tricky getting scheduled, but once we settled on a time everything went smooth.

OK I guess, not really too sure! The deal to clean the chimney of course was a come on for other work. Did not climb on the roof to check the chimney but said he could see it needed repairs and the MINIMUM price was way to high. I should have known. I hope the chimney cleaning was worth the cost? No real way to know.

ARC representative, Chase, came out and checked the ceramic logs, rocks, chimney box, flue, and even got up on the roof to check the chimney. He turned the gas on and made sure that everything was safe and in working order and confirmed that no birds or other animals were nesting in the chimney. I feel very safe in using the fireplace this winter. Chase was very professional and I highly recommend and will be calling ARC Chimney Sweeps for all of our fireplace and chimney needs in the future. I used a special deal that ARC offered through Angie's list, so the price was very reasonable.

So far, so good. There was something that needs to be fixed on the top but I'm in the process not to change the exterior of the siding. It was excellent.

Tyler came to the house an hour and half early. He was friendly and personable and went straight to the job at hand. He cleaned up around the fireplace when he was done and ordered the parts needed to fix my problem. He's coming back in two weeks for install, guess I better get coffee on because I know he'll be early. Excellent customer service at the office. Great staff. I would highly recommend this company.

In this day of quasi customer service, they were a breath of fresh air. On time and very professional are how I would describe them. It took less than an hour for the job to be completed. Would highly recommend them.

It's swept. Tyler assessed my very tall, steep, tin roof. He had the proper equipment on hand to safely climb it. He brought in a tarp to protect my carpet and furniture and a vacuum to clean up the debris. There was no sign of him having been there when he left, just a clean, drawing chimney. Mud dobbers had almost blocked it completely. I'm so glad I found their add. Thank you Angie's List for sharing that email!

Two young gentlemen arrived at the house, without notice, an hour before the scheduled appointment time. One swept the chimney. He was proficient and tidy. Very pleased. The second person completed the inspection. His lack of professionalism left me questioning his competence. Will seek a second opinion from another company.

Company was unresponsive. Initial times requested were not available, so they offered 3 additional times. I entered 3 possible dates, company never confirmed date. They showed up on one of the 3 dates with no prior conformation and just gave 12/24 hours notice...not adequate for planning to take off work, etc.
