ARC Chimney Sweeps

I did not have to pay anymore than the Big Deal.

They didn't do anything unprofessional, I'm just not sure they gave me great service.

Kevin did an excellent job and I was very impressed with his knowledge of chimney systems and professionalism. I am considering the repairs that he recommended.

They arrived on time and were courteous; however, they were unable to start my fireplace without my assistance. The cleaning was limited to a light brushing and vacuuming of the firelogs. As far I know, no inspection was performed. I was told I would get copy of the invoice by email--it never came. It was explained to me that the strong odor that I get when burning the fireplace is normal for a ventless fireplace. Overall, I feel it was a waste of my time and money.

They were professional and helped identify problems that might arise in the future.

They came out twice. Once to do the chimney sweep and safety inspection, and another time to waterproof my chimney and fix some damage. I had asked them to put in a cap to keep the bugs and such out. They completed a 3 stage water proofing process that consisted of resurfacing the mortar bed and fixing the cracks on the exterior, they added Chimney Saver water repellent, they also added Lyemace damper with a lifetime warranty. They were good about answering all of my questions, very knowledgeable and kind. I was so pleased with their work and I would highly recommend them.

We bought a home about a year ago And I could see a creosote buildup in the chimney, so we didn't want to use the fireplace until it could be cleaned. ARC technician John Tisdale did an excellent job cleaning and inspecting the firebox and chimney. He found some minor crack in the pre-fab firebox, but they were not big enough to cause concern. I would recommend ARC and would use them again.

Outstanding professionalism and execution sweeping my chimney with no mess whatsoever! Good value. Dryer vent cleaning wasn't in original work request, but the technician was glad to stay a bit longer to accomplish this task as well so I wouldn't have to reschedule. Very helpful and polite! I would highly recommend this company for chimney sweeping as well as dryer vent cleaning.

Everything went well. In fact, I ended up hiring the company for additional contract work to replace my existing fireplace and improve the chimney (cost for additional work not reported here).

We had to wait until the birds left our chimney, and then they came back to put a cover on the chimney to keep the birds from returning. Overall they did a good job.

They were courteous and prompt and discussed everything in detail with us both before and after the repairs were completed.
