Everything was good. The price was on the high side but they have a good product so I went with them.

After tearing down and removing my old fence, they located my property pins to properly situate the new fence on the property lines. Then they set the posts and built the fence from the ground up. This is a gorgeous and sturdy fence! No pre-fab panels like you can get at the big improvement stores. This fence was hand built by a team of 3 men. The process took 2 days, as it rained on the first day, so after demolishing the old fence, they had to come back the next day to build the new one. After about a month, I noticed one of the boards in the new gate had a long crack in it. I called Paramount and they came out within 2 weeks to replace the board. Their materials and labor are guaranteed for a full year. The materials were delivered the morning of the job and they use only high-grade lumber and nails. The gate is perfectly balanced and opens and closes smoothly. I am very happy with Paramount Fencing and strongly recommend them. I would gladly use them again!

Went very well, very courteous and professional estimator. The reason I did not select Paramount was the timing of when they would be able to schedule the work--their date was three weeks out and having the fence sooner was a key concern for me.

OVERALL: Despite the difficulties noted below, I would absolutely use this company again to replace the remaining part of my fenced yard. I talked to the owner long enough to know he is a great business man focused on delivering a quality product for a fair price. The materials and workmanship of the built-on-site fence are superb. ESTIMATE: (Affecting the Professionalism) The estimator was pleasant but seemed to have limited knowledge. While on-site, mostly anything I brought up was ?no problem?. The initial proposal was missing details that we had discussed. I rejected it. (General Note: If it's not in writing, then its not actionable.) I thought his last proposal was close enough, but I learned from the owner during the installation that the estimator had missed more than I knew, and that caused some problems during installation. But, the owner made it good though. I graded Responsiveness as an ?A? partly because of the estimator's efforts to provide a detailed estimate As for price, there were two other top-rated contenders. Paramount came in as the lowest estimate. INSTALLATION: (Affecting Quality, Punctuality, Professionalism) The quality of the installation is superb. Perfectly straight. Following the ground contour. Magnificent sculpting of the pickets where the fence met a large tree. Key factors in choosing Paramount were: + They custom build fence on site. + They use 10-foot posts, going 4 feet into the ground. + They stagger 2x4 16-foot runners so that only one joint (runners abutting) happens at each post, instead of three. This provides superior strength and resists sagging. + They use thick (5/8-inch) pressure treated pickets. There were problems with the foreman of the crew. Day one (Monday), I felt sad for the foreman, because first backed his trailer over one of my landscape lights. Then he backed his truck into a tree. The tree was OK, but the bumper of his brand new truck was severely dented. Unfortunately, this apparently put him in a bad mood. As the day wore on he became more and more disgruntled. Speaking to him about the fence became difficult. Then he started ?acting out?. On the second day, when Paramount's owner was on site, I asked to speak to him privately. As a business owner myself, I know how bad employee behavior affects the customer's perception of the business. The owner showed surprise about his employee, listened to my experience and observations, and showed genuine concern. He spoke to the foreman immediately, followed up with a ?thank you? email to me the next day (Wednesday). On Thursday. when he brought by the Release of Lien, he told me that the foreman has been put on notice that if a customer complains about his behavior like this again, he will be fired. I graded Responsiveness as an ?A? partly because of the owner's genuine concern and action about the disgruntle foreman. Had the owner's attitude not been so, the foreman's behavior would have brought Professionalism down to a ?D?. At the end of day one, the foreman told me he would start at 7:30 AM and be done by lunch. Day two (Tuesday), he didn't arrive until 8:15 AM and even with an additional worker, they didn't finish until 2:30 PM. This is one reason why punctuality is a ?B?. Note: On day one, at lunchtime, the foreman bought repair materials and the landscape light was repaired. Worth Repeating... I would absolutely use this company again to replace the remaining part of my fenced yard. I talked to Kip, the owner, long enough to know he is a great business man focused on delivering a quality product for a fair price.

It went great. They put up our fence and did great work.

I have dealt with fencing contractors in the past and with no reservations Paramount Fencing is by far the best. Quality materials,owner who knows and loves his business,professional installers and with a reasonable cost- what more as a consumer would one want? Installing a fence is more complicated than one would think- dealing with town codes,homeowners associations and neighbors. Paramount made it easy from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I received a phone call from Heidi in the beginning of the week of April 6th, 2015 stating that paramount fencing would be able to install the fence starting either Thursday or Friday of that week. I agreed that those dates would be okay and she said she would notify for sure of which day they would be starting. On April 8th at 10:30 pm I received an E-mail from Heidi stating the crew had finished the job they were working on late in the day on the 8th and they would like to start installation on the 9th. I spoke with Kip the owner of the company on the morning of the 9th and confirmed that they would be able to start the job that day. At approximately 11:30 am Heidi called and said that the crew was having some challenges finishing a prior job and it would be too late to start the project that day, that they would be there in the morning. Two crew members arrived early Friday morning and immediately started to knock down the old fence. It was with total disregard to the neighbors property, who by the way was kind enough to allow them access his property, that they began dismantling the fence. The second panel they took a sledge hammer to was dropped right onto the neighbors brand new air conditioner. I spoke with the gentleman that could communicate in english and expressed my concerns, but nothing changed. I then called Kip the owner of the company and explained my concerns with damage and liability. He said he was on his way and he would make a phone call. The men continued to dismantle the fence. Kip called back and said he was almost to the house and that he had told the men to stop working until he got there. I told him I found that very interesting because they had never stopped. Not only did the men not take care in the fence removal the new fencing material was carried and just thrown on to the ground. When Kip arrived I again voiced my concerns and was informed that when workers are busy things get tossed about. In discussing the fence project Kip informed me it was going to be a carry over job, meaning they would probably be finishing on Monday. I found that extremely interesting because the other two companies informed me that because it was not a full days project the price might be a little higher. The crew quit around 2pm leaving only one gate that needed to finished. At 5pm Kip called to see how things went and to inform me that the men left early because one of them had to pick his family up from the airport. I informed him at that time that one of the hinges on the gate they had finished was crooked. His comment was he was sure his crew knew that and planned on fixing it on Monday. Friday afternoon i spent picking up plastic packing material left all over the front boulevard. Monday morning arrives and it is now after 9am with no communication from paramount fencing. I called Kip to ask what the status of his crew was. He informed me they should be to the house in about 1/2 hour, however you know how traffic can be. He also stated he would be there shortly after the crew, about an hour. The crew did arrive 45 minutes later. Kip arrived 2 hours later. I showed Kip the fence hinge that was bent and the boards that had only one or no nails in the center section. His reply was that those thing s happen and that's why we do a walk around. He again informed me that he was sure his man knew about the gate hinge. As the three men were finishing the second gate Kip said to me "I wonder you that man is, I have never met him." Maybe its just me, but if i have someone working for me I would like to have at least met them. The man who Kip informed me twice was aware of the problem with fence hinge and had planned on fixing it approached me and asked me to show him what was wrong. Kip intervened at that point and went to fix what concerns that I had found. I did have a couple concerns about the a few of the pickets. Approximately three were of completely different color and at least two ere split at the top. Kip said not to worry the sun would fade out the three and as for the splits that was nothing to be concerned about.

We had a wonderful experience with Paramount Fencing! They were the highest of the three bids that we received from multiple companies, but because of their honest, professional demeanor and confidence in their product we decided to hire them. They mad us feel very comfortable and provided good information and excellent communication throughout the process of permitting, HOA approval, etc. Kip (the owner) came out to get the job started on the first day of work. He walked us through what the process would be and introduced us to the crew that would be working in our yard. The job was done in about a day and a half and the work was excellent! I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a fence in the future!

Let me start by saying if you are looking for some cheap, slap it together, fencing... keep looking, you're not going to get that type of crap from them. If you go with Paramount fencing you're going to get a custom built, solid, eye pleasing addition to your home and great customer service to go with it. My neighbor, who was splitting the cost of one section that separates our yards, couldn't believe how thorough they were in the construction of the fences. Each board cut to size to ensure it all lined up perfectly with no gaps at the bottom, which would entice my dogs to dig. My neighbor also had a section of fence along the front of his house that he wasn't ready to replace yet so he removed it before construction began, but broke the board that shared the same corner post as the new fence. Not only did the Paramount crew put the section back up for him, but they also replaced the broken board and shaped the top of it so it matched perfectly with the rounded top of his fence. There was a small hiccup in the process when I noticed the finished products had 4ft wide gates instead of 5ft wide ones. I made Gary and Kip aware of the issue and they sent another crew out to correct it. I'll admit I was not as impressed with the work of this 2nd crew because the gates just didn't seem to fit and look as nice as the original finished product, but honestly it must be difficult to tear down someone else's work and then correct it so that it fits in perfectly with the original work. I made Kip and Gary aware that I wasn't as happy with it after this correction, so Kip came out personally and took care of it. The fence looks outstanding, the gates, which are now 5ft wide, fit perfectly, and they open/close effortlessly. Despite the small hiccup I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for a new fence. You cannot put a value on the type of customer service I received from them. Gary wrote the original proposal for me and was quick to respond when I asked for a change to increase the size of the dog area. Kip took the time to personally ensure all of my concerns were addressed and that I was completely happy with the completed project. Both of them were great with keeping me informed via text messages on status updates. I feel a true measure of a company isn't just by how often they get things right, but also by how they handle things when they go wrong and by that measure Paramount has exceeded my expectations. Thank you Gary and Kip, and thank you Paramount, for my beautiful new fences.

Kip gave us a thorough explanation of our options and once agreed to, the contract was fulfilled in a timely manner. Great job and his crew kept the job site cleaned up and created minimum disruption. I was particularly impressed that he notified our neighbors beforehand about the work to be done so no problems at all with access.

I called this company and set up an appointment for a quote. I was told I would get an email and they would be out today. I never heard from them again.Guess they lost my information or just got too busy.

I had an old board on board fence around my property that was about 400? long and beyond repair. I called Paramount and two other companies for bids to replace the fence with a new 6? high pressure treated pine board on board fence. Paramount was not the lowest bidder; their quote came in between the other two companies, yet the construction specs were clearly superior. They use 10? posts and 16? runners instead of standard 8? posts and runners, which makes for a much stronger fence. They will also upgrade to all stainless nails at very little upcharge. There was excellent communication before, during and after the project. They make sure all questions are answered and are happy to take whatever time is necessary to educate the customer about the various material and construction options. They also notify all adjoining neighbors in advance, and handle all permitting paperwork. Kip is a gentleman (and an ex-Marine as I learned), is very detail oriented (like me), and is clearly focused on turning out a good product. Needless to say I am very happy with the new fence and will definitely use Paramount again for any future fencing needs.

Although I opted to select another company, they were prompt, very responsive, provided great detail and took care to understand what I was looking for before submitting the quote.

From the first meeting to review the scope of work, through the permit process and construction of the fence, Kip and Gary provided excellent service and kept us up to date on everything. Alex, the installer lead was very knowledgeable and quality minded. The construction of the fence was perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to use Paramount again.

I have to start by saying that Paramount was the most professional group of the estimates we received. Shannon was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the product and process from A-Z. On top of that, Shannon was on site during the installation. I've never experienced the sales person showing up for the work with any other improvements we've done. The installation crew was great, Pin explained everything they were doing and kept us up to date on everything. When the crew discovered that our neighbor's fence (over 10 years old) was on our property the situation was rectified and our neighbor is quite happy with the white pvc privacy fence she ended up with. The old fence removal was done quickly and the crew even made sure that there were no gaps in my neighbors fence by filling it in with cut sections of his old fence. When the owner, Kip, came by to do the final inspection, he was gracious and gave us good information regarding the quality of the materials and workmanship. My wife and I (and our 8 mo. old dog) couldn't be happier. In all honesty, this was not the lowest cost of our estimates, but we feel that we received the highest quality fence, installed with the highest quality workmanship. I would recommend Paramount Fence to any one looking for quality from beginning to end.

The firm provided two very detailed proposals that DID NOT respond to what I requested and were outrageously over-priced because they included an ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE OF ALMOST $5,000.

Excellent!! Since we have 3 dogs they concentrated on the first day getting the part of the yard done in which the dogs use. That was extremely helpful so that we did not have to put the dogs on a leash in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I would hire them again in an instant. They were very accommodating. The only hiccup was my HOA!!! That is the HOA's fault.

Great experience with Paramount fencing. Kip came out looked at our pool and yard layout, and helped us come up with the most cost effective and functional solution to our situation. We wanted to fix a broken driveway gate, replace some fence, and meet pool code. We decided rather than fence the entire yard with pool code fence, to surround the pool with proper fence and replace wood fence in yard. Kip helped us figure out the optimal shape and size of pool fence to keep project simple and avoid extra cost to curve around pool deck. Both the wood fence and the aluminum pool fence are very sturdy and attractive, it was a quality job. This is an excellent fence company and I would recommend them.

He was very nice and seemed very knowledgeable on his field. I had read so many good reviews on this company that I was excited to work with them. Two days later after meeting with Gary I received the bid... $6,040.19 on a 244 linear sqft with one gate (white pvc fence). I was prepared to pay a little more for the work, as I had read reviews warning about their high price, but I had also contacted two other companies who gave the same initial response and customer service as Gary did. The first company Gifford Fencing Company quoted me $4,700 to get the work done while KMG Fencing quoted me $4,300. I then contacted Gary and asked if he could take a look at other quotes and let me know if he could do anything to better the quote he had given me. Gary told me to e-mail him and he was going to see what he could do. A day or so later Gary e-mailed me to inform that the only "discount" he could give me was $170. I was disappointed (specially because of the difference in price compared to two other companies) but I was still considering them to install my fence, when I noticed I was being charged $1,300 for administrative fee, on top of material, shipping, taxes, and labor charges. I e-mailed Gary asking why I was being charged $1,300 for adm fee..... and he never reply my e-mail ever again... that was the end of conversation. So when considering this company, make sure you know what you are paying for...

Kip, the owner responded quickly to our call. He came out and reviewed the current fence and then took measurements for the new fence. We were considering a vinyl fence at that time. He patiently explained the differences with the wooden and vinyl fencing. He priced out both options for us and explained the pros and cons of both types of fencing. After getting the estimates by email, we decided to go with the wooden fence and Paramount Fencing. We had other estimates but could tell we were getting an inferior wooden product that what Paramount was offering. The Paramount crew arrived and removed the old fence then installed the new fence in one day. They cleaned up the area when finished and were careful of landscape and sprinkler systems. Kip was involved in the project and came back to check the job and to make sure we were pleased with the job. We would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a new fence.

They installed the fence last June and I asked them to call me in a month because they said that we had to wait 30 days to paint the fence and I never got a callback. Within the last month, I called them again and said, "Look, I want to widen my gate and I still want to get my fence painted, so give me a quote for both." They came out and widened my fence and I told them when they were leaving, "Please let me know next week when you guys can come and paint the fence." There was no callback but the guys did great work. I am annoyed with Paramount Fencing because I paid them approximately $5,000 over the year and I cannot get the fence painted and I think that that is sad. I did not pay for anything that they have not done. It was just that they said, "Okay, here is your cost to put the fence in. Oh, we will come back in 30 days and here is your cost to do that." So, I paid for the fence but they never showed up again so I never actually got the paint service and I never paid for it. It was just kind of like a false advertising. I actually am not even concerned about that anymore. They did an outstanding job but their follow through was poor. If they do not want the money, I am not going to say, "Hey guys, I am calling you because..." I have already done that twice and I am not interested at all. I will get someone else to paint. It will cost me more but I am willing to pay more to get the fence painted by someone who wants to do it. The cost of the last service was $800.

From the first call I was able to get a promptly scheduled estimate - and the estimator was on time and friendly. I was given all the details about the wood fence and a written estimate. They handled the permit and all I had to do was wait until the weather and schedule (4 weeks) lined up - very near to the date given the day of the estimate. All of the installers were friendly happy people that I enjoyed chatting with each morning before I left to work - and they kept my yard clean and safe at the end of the day. It took one week to get the actual installation done start-to-finish and I could not be happier with the quality of the work. They took the time to cut a few fence boards into slivers to cover some edges that butt against my house and the entire fence is strong and straight as an arrow. I never thought I'd say anything like this - but this is one gorgeous fence!!!

He came to the house to meet me on time and he was very friendly. I had a lot of questions along the way and he was always available to answer them even take time to come over to the house and do some sketches for me. Responsible, clean work, great quality work and always on time. My fence still looks great and I'm loving hanging out in the back yard and looking at it from inside the house. Would definitely recommend this company. Mr. Hudakoz was great to do business with.
