ANDREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK REMOVING MY OLD TOILET. WHEN THAT WAS DONE HE CLEANED UP OLD DEBRIS AND THEN INSTALLED NEW TOILET. WHEN HE WAS FINISHED HE ASKED ME TO INSPECT IT. IT MADE MY OLD BATHROOM LOOK ALMOST NEW! HE EVEN WANT SO FAR TO REINSTALL MY RAILINGS ON MY NEW TOILET. I REALLY APPRECIATED THAT. HE CLEANED UP EVERY THING. I WILL CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED. B HAYNIE

The re-pipe was done with great care from covering the floors with tarps to placement of the pipes to limit drywall holes. Their team took the time to explain the entire process and answer 100 questions I had along the way. They even removed the old hose bibs and patched the holes with concrete. I highly recommend Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond for entire home re-pipes! I was very satisfied from the scheduling, to the re-pipe itself, to the drywall repair. The quote itself was very competitive considering it included the drywall repair.
Description of Work: Re-plum of entire 2-bath home. Including dropping new water lines for all sinks, toilets, washer, fridge, and two new exterior hose bibs. Drywall repair was included in the initial quote and was done to perfection matching the texture as best as humanly possible.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! End Result: Very poor customer service. There was an issue with the service provided and a difference of opinion regarding who was responsible for the damages and with the amount owed. This is not uncommon with business transactions requiring services rendered. The way that the issue was handled however was completely unacceptable. The contact person named Robert was very rude and hung up on me. He refused to talk to me stating that I was not the person who contracted them for the work and in the midst of explaining that I was the person directly involved in receiving the services and that we could get the landlord on three-way, he said he would not argue and that I am fully responsible for the damages and hung up the phone. Prior to speaking to Robert, my landlord expressed that he was very rude when they were communicating and that his demeanor towards her may have been because she was a woman and that I might get better results when speaking to him. It turns out that he was just as rude to me as he was to her. The Issue: On 12/20 the plumber arrived around 1PM to repair the toilet. I showed him what was wrong and he proceeded to make repairs. I honestly can't remember what he said needed to be done but I do remember him saying he needed to replace something and did catch a glimpse of him doing something underneath and below the toilet during the repair. He completed in a little over an hour then left and I closed the door to the bathroom with the fan on to let it dry out the water residue that remained. I left to pickup the kids and came back around 530. At that time I went into the bathroom to clean up what remained of the mess and straighten up the bathroom. I placed my hand on the top of the toilet tank and reached down to grab the bowl cleaner and heard a loud crack and something metallic hit the ground. I looked under the toilet and saw that there was a piece that had broken off and there was a large crack along the screw/bolt eyelets where he was working. See pictures attached. I called my landlord and sent her pictures explaining what happened. She reached out to the company and they would get a new toilet and then have them come back out to replace. Fast forward to the 12/23... The same repairman came back and I explained what happened. In that explanation I said that I 'leaned' on the toiler while reaching down to grab the cleaner. This term would later become the focal point of placing the blame. After toilet was replaced I notified my landlord. An hour or so later she informed me that the company said that I admitted to breaking the toilet and that she was liable for both bills. That was when we proceeded to reach out to the company to clarify what happened and what lead to me being hung up on and reprimanded on the phone. Resolution: To this date I have not received any communications or apologies from the company even though I was informed that the owner was notified and involved in the final billing decision. The owner has sided with his associates and says that I am to blame for the damages because I 'leaned' on the toilet. In my 30+ years of dealing with toilets, which also includes having completely uninstall and re-install one, I have never had a toilet break on me, cleaning it or not. I do not know the amount of force that it would require to break a toilet, but I can assure you that I did not 'lean' on the toilet in the sense that they are implying. They make it seem as though I was laying across the toilet or forceful pushing against it. I have since reached out to another plumber and a handyman specializing in home remodeling. They both agree that even resting on the toilet should not cause this damage and that I would need to have been forcefully attempting to damage the toilet to cause that kind of damage. The handyman stated that he has demolished homes and has broken apart toilets in the past, and that one would be surprised at the amount of force it takes to break up a toilet even with the use of a sledgehammer. The plumber offered another perspective as a voice of reason, which I can agree with. He believes (as well as my landlord and I) that that bolts were over tightened and that the old toilet could have already had a crack in that area which was why it was leaking from the inlet area. He says that with very little force, an over tightened bolt on a crack in that location would cause the damage witnessed. This makes more sense to me. My take on that possibility is that the landlord and I should still not be held accountable for the entire bill. That's like taking your car to a mechanic shop for a tire rotation. If they leave the screws loose when they replace the tires, and you hit a bump that causes the rim to crack or the bolt to break off, is that your fault or theirs? In the end, I will leave that for you to decide. That's a point of contention and can go in favor of either party. The bigger issue is the customer service received and the fact that no one from the main office reached out to me to issue an apology or to get my side of the story. I've been raised with the saying that there are 3 sides to every story; Yours, Mine, and the Truth which is often a combination of the other two. In my opinion this company and the owner did a very poor job in hearing all sides of the story and were quick to place fault in order to make a quick buck. My landlord and I have a great relationship and I have paid half of the total bill ($300) so that she wouldn't be liable for something outside of her responsibility. Also note that I have no issues with the repairman. He called before arriving, came promptly, finished the work, and left both times. There was very little conversation between us. I am not sure if his statement to the company is the root of the problem, but while he was here, we had no issues.
Description of Work: I am the tenant and my landlord hired this company to repair a leaky toilet. The toilet is an older model Mancesa 1.6 which has been a problematic brand for us. Of the three toilets in this home, this is the second that has been needed to be replaced and the landlord expressed having issues with these toilets prior to my arrival. The toilet in question that needed repair had a slow constant leak into the bowl and there was a light trickling from the inlet of the tank where it connected to the bowl.

Thank you for taking your time to leave us a review. I always recommend checking Angies list. It's a great resource and we have over 500 reviews here as you can see. As the Owner of this company I was involved with dealing with the Owner of your home and my technician. I did not see a need to speak with the tenet when I know the toilet was leak free when we left and broken when you leaned on it. As for your "handyman" I can tell you I have broken toilets in my career with VERY little effort as porcelain is GLASS. if you just DROP a hammer in it it will break. especially a sledgehammer. I was sitting in the office with Robert during many of the conversations between him and the people associated with the job. I never heard him being rude or short with anyone. But I will look into it. None the less we did replace the toilet and we did fix it the first time we were there. Lesson learned "Don't use a toilet as a hand hold or grab bar" I hope you have a great new year. Sincerely, Jeff Wines "Owner" CFC 1428217

He was very professional and courteous at all times! Thank you Jeff's Kitchen & Bath for having wonderful employees and great service!

Everyone was very professional and friendly. I had three contractors come to house to diagnose and give me a quote. All came to the same conclusion. I choose Jeff's Kitchen Bath & Beyond because of the materials they were going to use and their price was in line with research I had done. The installers were on time. Our experience with the team from Jeff's Kitchen Bath and Beyond was absolutely fantastic! Their excellence started off hot when Joe timely arrived to review our home and provide the estimate. He gave a solid explanation on what will happen during the process, the quality of piping they stand by, and his repiping team when they are scheduled for duty. He assured how strategic his team is when it comes to a project like this, and how surgical they are when it comes to cutting into the dry wall. Even if it is plaster dry wall. Well, Joe was not kidding. These guys are very precise and took away our imaginative anxiety of the work they had to do. The crew is very meticulous on where they cut, how they will repipe, and problem solving. Their communication with each other is outstanding which explains why their job execution is perfect. I work at home as a finance specialist, and not one time was I distracted in completing my responsibilities for my employer. Not once was I disturbed. Everything went smoothly. Yes, there will be some dust residue if you have plaster dry wall like me, but these guys clean up as they go. The next day, Seminole County inspector stops by and signs off with no issues. He said for many years he has inspected repiping, He wished more specialists did work like the quality I received. He said this is a work of art. This is how you repipe. The day after, Jeff's dry wall team showed up, and what was cut for repiping was repaired as if nothing happened. They do beautiful work including where there was knockdown texture. The drywall crew is just as awesome as the repipe crew. Everybody is in sync like army ants. I would like to thank these guys again for being awesome in what they do. They have that 'old school' pride in their work to the point they will point their name on it. I would like to mention them by name, but Angie's List will block it out. They are my go to plumbing service for now on. Just call Jeff's Kitchen Bath and Beyond and meet them yourself!

It went great. I cannot thank Jeff's Kitchen, Bath & Beyond enough. They completed the job in less than 1-day as promised, and the drywall guy came a few days later. The main guy even came back to my house to double check one more thing to ensure everything was good. I appreciated all their hard work and allowing me to watch as they performed the job. (I had the day off so I figured I'd watch and ask questions). The best thing is they threw in a free hot water heater. - The only thing that was a bummer was they promised a "Rheem" hot water heater but they said the warehouse didn't have one and they gave me a "State Water Heater" which isn't as good in my opinion. Oh well, hopefully it lasts the 5-yrs that its warranty is rated for.

Description of Work: Pipe leak behind wall. My parents called 4 plumbers, I called about 10 from Angie's list and none available. They all said tomorrow, one said Monday; I said we have an active leak my parents need help now, they don't know how to shut off water main, their response sorry!! I spoke with Jeff explained the situation and he advised to call city of casselberry for a free emergency shut off! Then he could come as an emergency right now and charge overtime fee, or wait until tomorrow and save. Thx Jeff for the help no one else took the time to advise and not taking advantage of the situation.
