Description of Work: Im a Property Manager and previously a Developer. I have worked with many good and bad contractors. This company is NOT one of my good ones. I contacted the company based on there rating in Angies List. They were hired to go and pump out a tank because it was full. This is an easy job, I have over seen larger projects hundreds of times. They showed up at a diffrent time we had scheduled , "they spent a few minutes and left ," according to our tenants. I arrived later and noticed the issue was the same. I contacted the driver and he said the job was finished. I asked him to please come back and complete the job. He directed me to contact his office. I called and emailed the office . The Office Manager Carmen stated the Owner Carl Anderson would contact me back. They didnt contact me back (for weeks). After several attempts to rectify, I hired another company to complete. This was a HEALTH & SAFTY issue and required immediate response, these companies know that. Eight weeks later the threats began.To further aggrivate the issue they contacted my client for payment. They sent my client threatening letters and even threatened to retaliate against me in Angies List , by stating a LIE in Angies List under my Property Management services. My client and I feel abused. 1) No return call on a time sensative issue (ABUSE). 2) Circumventing me by contacting my clients to trash talk me and my responsibilities (When im required to look out for my client). 3) Threats to my client to ruine there credit 4) Threats to ruine my business rating in Angies List

+ -1 moreThey did everything good from the morning call to the service. Just what I wanted from a company.
Description of Work: Everyone was correct. They do the job well. They called before hand twice to let me know their arrival time. They explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. I just needed maintenance and I understand the business enough to know when they said to me "call us again in three years if you don't have problems' that he was being honest. No upsale. No dumb stuff. I love Angies list, it has removed a lot of headaches from my life!!!!

+ -1 moreI was in dire need to a company to check my septic system. I figured the best option was to use Angies list to provide a highly rated company that I could trust to perform the work. Dial septic showed up at the top of the list of ratings so I called. Dial promised to send a technician out to my home the following day after my call. Never showed up. Talked to a person with the company [name witheld] who then recomitted to show up at my home 5/16 PM. Never showed up. Then comitted to meet me between 8-9AM 5/17. The individual never showed up or called. Purely unacceptable.
Description of Work: Dial promised two times that they would be out to my home to review my issue with my septic tank. Despite the comittment and numerous confirmations via telephone, they never came to my home has promised. I wasted valueable time waiting for them to show up.

+ -1 moreFrom the person who answered the phone to the crew who performed the service, professionalism, customer service, and quality service was at the top of their list. Great experience with everyone I had to deal with at the company, and when there was a mix up of where the line to the sewer was located the company owner came on site to make sure things were being properly taken care of. The job was delayed for about a week because the county had to come to onsite and make a new connection, but I am very satisfied with the work that was done.
Description of Work: Our septic line had to be connected to the county serwer line because our drain field went bad. The company came out emptied and filled the tank with dirt and made the connection to the sewer line. The job took longer than expected because the location of the septic lines was mislabeled.

The estimate was the best of the three estimates we received, the work was begun and completed on schedule, they found and relocated a control cable for our irrigation system, the work was done well and according to code and the clean-up was very good. They were willing to work around an existing fence (at no additional charge) instead of asking me to remove and reinstall it.

+ -1 moreOnce started, Dials people took over. I had no worries. Excellent employees working for them. Went smoothly from start to finish. Can't think of anything that was to my disliking.
Description of Work: Orginally spoke with Carl Anderson. Very pleasant, very professional. Carl installed a complete new septic and drain system.We change what we wanted and how and where we wanted the drain field several times and Carl always worked with us, They also instaled a 20 X 20 parking pad that we didn't realize we needed until the last minute. This was done on the last two days as they were finishing. All worked great. I think the best system available was installed. Highly recomend.

+ -1 moreI called in for quote, mentioned that I had two tanks but that they were relatively small tanks. Price quoted was $245 per tank, up to 1600gallons but she mentioned that the guys servicing would tell me if there was any other fee. I made the appointment 2 weeks in advance. Guys got there, cleaned out the pump and then told me it was $245 per tank ($490)...ouch. I mentioned what I was quoted on the phone, he dropped the price to $235 per tank but I felt that was still over priced. I had already dug out the opening to one of the tanks, making it easier for them. Do: Make sure to check price quote before you have them start the job. Would also help to know how big your tanks are for reference upon the initial quote. I had previously had the tanks pumped out in 2001 for $245 total so prices have gone up for sure.
Description of Work: Service was to have my two septic tanks pumped out. One gray water for kitchen and clothes washer, other for bathrooms.

+ -1 moreour septic system quit working (over the weekend of course). We left a message for Dial septic (as we have used them previously) and they responded as soon as they opened on Monday. They had someone out there immediately to diagnose the problem and were able to fix it right away. (we were aware of what pumps cost b/c of others who had theirs replaced and our own research- Dial was competitive) They even provided a mini seminar as well as materials on septic systems, how they work and how to maintain. Provided the information for the pump for warranty purposes and explained the warranty. These folks were extremely knowledgeable and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again or reccommend them to others.

They inspected the old tank lid and said they would return in a day or two with a new lid as they did not carry lids on their truck. They were true to their word and brought and installed the new lid neatly and promptly.

+ -1 moreI had been working with another company for over a year that gave numerous excuses as to why things were going so slow, including a hold up with getting permits from the city. When I switched over to Dial it took only about 2 weeks from contact to job completion - the job itself took about 2 days to complete. They were extremely careful and dedicated to doing a good job. In order to minimize impact to our landscape they dug by hand, where they could, to work around plants. The teamed worked until dark both days and did not leave us without water or the capability to use our plumbing that first night when the job was only half complete. I use Angie's List quite a bit to find contractors and have generally been pleased, but Dial was really as good as anyone I've ever used.

+ 0 moreMy realtor referred me to Anderson, who is the owner of the company. The job is kind of an ongoing thing. He did most of the job a couple of weeks ago but we haven’t had the final work done yet. We are yet to get the inspections done, and so I am waiting for the septic tank to be hooked up to the generator that I just went out and bought. It cost me $8000 to install the septic tank, and the total cost for all the work that he did for me was $10900, which I think is an average fee. I got more than my money’s worth because he was so great to work with. We changed things a couple of times, and he was accommodating. I found the parking pad at the last minute, and that was the last day they were there. They called and had their stuff brought in while their equipment was still there, and laid out the parking pad for me. He was just super to work with and wouldn’t take any money until it was over, which is not always the case nowadays. I have nothing but the highest regard for him. They did an excellent job. They were there when they were supposed to be there. I would highly recommend them, and would call them again at the drop of a hat, if I needed them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Dial Septic Tanks to install a septic tank in my undeveloped property. The inspectors of the property said that we needed a two-car pad to park our mobile home on, and so they brought in concrete-gravel mix and did that work too.

+ -1 moreI called Dial requesting a routine pump of our septic tank (last performed 4 years ago). They gave me the price ($265) over the phone and gave me an hour time span for an appointment. On the agreed upon day, the guys showed up shortly after the start of the time span to do the pump. The lead said that our tank was larger than others in our neighborhood and that he thought we should be charged more, but did the pump for the quoted price. They opened up both lids to inspect the tank, and pointed out that one of the fiberglass lids were getting flimsy and recommended replacing them. I took them up on the offer, and they had someone come out the next day and replace the lids (for $125).

+ -1 moreCarl and his team was great, this job was a nightmare, the septic tank was under the sidewalk and near a very large palm tree, instead of removing it and creating more damage, they decided to fill the tank with concrete and put in a new tank in another area of the yard. They installed concrete tanks, replaced the pump. They also put the tanks that were code for a five bedroom house. They were very professional and did their best to clean up the area before they left. I would definitely recommend Dial.
Description of Work: The original installer used normal inside grade PVC on the pump connection inside of the lift station, which broke and caused the alarm to sound. I called Dial and they came out the next morning to check out the problem. Both my septic tank and lift station/pump had to be replaced. My home was three years old, the initial installer (not Dial) put in plastic tanks that were too deep in the ground and not up to code for my five bedroom home. After Tropical Storm Fay and all the rain along with the normal heavy ground water, the tanks collapsed. Both tanks and pump had to be replaced.
