I had a great experience with BM Wemple Pools. Matt came and gave us a quote on the renovation of our pool. He then coordinated everything in a very timely manner. The men that worked on our pool were extremely nice and they made sure to clean the area thoroughly each day. The office staff was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We are so pleased with the outcome of our pool and are enjoying it daily. It is like having a brand new pool! I would highly recomend BM Wemple Pools.

Researched these folks as potential vendor to install a replacement pool/spa heater. They were very nice over the phone and in the office but the person sent to inspect and quote the job was stand-offish and a bit arrogant. He did not want to discuss options for heaters and instead just handed me a brochure on one heater and told me that's what they will install. I told him I really just wanted a spa heater as we don't heat the pool but he tried to convince me to go bigger so I could heat the pool. Not sure what part of "we will not heat this pool with a gas heater" escaped him. Price was on the high side. I did not select this vendor as I prefer to have a vendor that will work with me.

We purchased the house and took possession August 29th. I found their card in the pool equipment and decided since they serviced the pool in the past they were the best choice. Terrible mistake. I insisted on luis since according to the pool service card he was the one that did weekly service on the pool. I live in NYC and before I flew back home on September 8th, I called and hired them to continue the pool service. The receptionist was very pleasant with fine customer service, if they were all like that! I have family there that take care of the house. My aunt said the pool didn't look like anybody is cleaning it. So I had my nephew who has a pool take a look at it. My nephew said it looks like nobody ever came out to service the pool. Its GREEN WITH ALGAE and leaves at the bottom. He took pictures. I was infuriated because I paid them for September AND October and they STOLE my money $230 ($115 per month), because they didn't provide the service purchased. I called them very upset demanding a refund stating just facts; that no pool service was perform. They had me speak to I believe was a a very rude guy named Brad. He insisted that service was provided and how did I know since I live in NY!! I told him that I have family that lives a couple of blocks away that take care of the house and I have pictures!! Brad was very rude insisting that the pool was cleaned. I told him I hired them to provide a service on September 8ths and its NOT EVEN A FULL MONTH and my pool is GREEN WITH ALGAE. I called for a refund Oct 6th! His excuse was that since I didn't have a pool enclosure the leaves create the algae. UMM...... isn't it there job to prevent the algae with weekly maintenance and take out the leaves. I searched angies list and hired Aqua- Blue Pools. They went out on Oct 8th and told me that NO SERVICE was provided. I had all 3 types of Algae in the pool!!!!!!! Black , Green and Yellow! Really!! They treated the pool, when they checked the filter they said it was green like no chemicals was ever used to keep the filter in good working condition. Low water . BM Wemple didn't do anything!! They stole $230 from me cause I asked Brad for a refund on Oct 6 and it Nov 21st and still no refund. I had to pay a couple of hundred dollars MORE to Aqua-Blue Pools to fix the pool algae and filter and low water problems. Terrible company with no ethics ! There are 4 reviews with all bad complaints, that speaks volumes!! Next stop the Better Business Bureau

After 11 years our pool needed resurfacing. Atlas did he work. While I was satisfied with the finished product, I had some issues that made the experience with this company less than perfect. Our contact person, Matt, was very hard to reach and did not return calls when I left messages on his cell phone. In order to reach him, I had to call the office and they then tried to reach him and have him call me back. On the day the work was scheduled to begin no one showed up. At 11am I called Matt and was told that there was a backlog due to rain earlier in the week and that they would start the following week. He never explained why no one called to tell us. I wonder if anyone would have called if we did not contact them. When the guy showed up the following week he indicated that the rain was not the problem but the problem was he was sent out of state to do work. Once the job was started everything ran smoothly and the workers were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Matt never came out after the job to check the work or check to see if we were satisfied. His continual statement was that they were swamped and he had not stop calls. I thought it odd that no one came to check the job. The real issues started after completion of the resurfacing. We were told that our contract included a month of free pool service; accordingly we cancelled the pool service we had used for several years. While on vacation we received a call from a friend who was checking on our house indicating that the pool was totally green and filled with algae. I immediately called Atlas and they seemed surprised that we were expecting the pool service; and indicated that nothing had been done to our pool. They told me they had to contact Matt. They did call back and indicate that since they had never begun servicing the pool after the resurfacing was complete that they would begin the service starting on that date and would continue for a month. There was no explanation as to why the service was not started. They did clean up the algae mess. Two weeks later we were still away when we received another call from our neighbor indicating that the pool was overflowing. I immediately contacted a friend who went to check and said the garden hose was in the pool and was on full blast causing the pool to overflow. Our friend took care of it, but we knew it was Atlas' pool service that left the hose running, because the day we left for this part of our trip the guys from the pool service were at the house and we were introduced to the new pool guy who would be handling the remainder of our maintenance for the month. As we pulled out of the driveway they were going back to the pool to top off the water. I did not call Atlas to report this issue because there was nothing they could do and I didn't want a song and dance. The actual work on the pool was done well and I am happy with it; but Atlas needs to be more attentive to detail so that the small things don't blossom into big things. We have made arrangements for Atlas to redo our pool deck at the same time we contracted for the work on the pool. We are helping that will go more smoothly.

The guy has been coming every Monday and he does a great job. The pool looks wonderful. No complaints. They are reliable. They bring their own equipment to do everything. They are very friendly. The guy who comes and cleans my pool, his name is Lee. I only had one problem with them. We needed a new filter and my husband had one in the shed but they did not ask, they just changed it and then billed me for it. But I did call and complained and they said they were sorry. I said "please, if you are going to do anything again notify me before you replace anything or do anything that is going to be above and beyond the $90 dollars a month" and they said fine no problem. Other than that, it has been great.

I called to schedule a service call to inspect, clean and advise on my pool at my new home. The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. The gentleman came to the house and seemed very unresponsive. He said he did not know anything about re-surfacing or cleaning the pool. He did help us with the pool pump and placed that on a cycle. We felt that he did not provide the requested service and appeared uninterested in helping.

Matt Clark, the GM, came to our house as scheduled and was very detailed in explaining the pros and cons of solar heat as opposed to a heat pump. He didn't try to sell us on the more expensive heat pump, which was nice. Their product also looks to be far superior to that of other vendors I shopped. In fact, two of the vendors didn't even have samples of their panels! I have even had them quote me on a saltwater filtration system for my pool, and though they are more expensive, I will probably hire them, simply based on my pleasant experience. Overall, this was the best contractor experience I have ever had!

The clog was not repaired. When I called to find out why they hadnt performed the service requested, they said they didnt do that. I called Budd Mudd and for $70 the problem was fixed. I had a previous problem with them showing up when they said they would.

They came out within 2 business days and were here exactly when they said they would be. The pool tech guy did not try to sell us anything even though our pool had never been serviced in 3.5 years! He even commented on how good our pool equipment is.

THEY ARE RESPONSIVE TO ALL REQUESTS. THEY DO A GOOD JOB. I HAVEN'T HAD TO CALL THEM BACK ON SOMETHING. THEY DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. THE PRICE JUST WENT UP SO I'M NOT SURE IF THE INCREASE IN PRICE IS REASONABLE OR NOT.

THEY DO WHAT I EXPECT THEM TO DO. THEY GET HERE ON TIME, AND THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. WE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS IN THE PAST WITH OTHER SERVICES SHOWING UP ON TIME.

IF WE EVER CALL THEM WITH AN ISSUE, THEY ARE GOOD ABOUT COMING AND GETTING THE PROBLEM FIXED. WE HAD A PROBLEM ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. THEY SAID THAT NOTHING COULD HAVE BEEN DONE ABOUT IT. WE WEREN'T UNHAPPY, BUT WE COULD HAVE BEEN HAPPIER. THEY COME ONCE A WEEK AND PERFORM THE SERVICE.

THE JOB WAS DONE VERY NICELY. THEY CAME OUT A SECOND TIME BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE NEEDED MORE THEN THE ESTIMATED TO HEAT THE POOL. THE SALESMAN TOLD ME A LOT ABOUT THE PRODUCT. HE WAS ABLE TO EXPLAIN IN DETAIL HOW THE PANELS ACTUALLY WORKED.
