Description of Work: Called early Saturday afternoon, July 2nd, after discovering leak in water heater. He could not come out until Sunday, July 3rd. Showed up on time with assistant completing install in about 1 1/2 hours no problems since.

Description of Work: Jay was my plumber today. What an amazing job he did. He repaired both of my malfunctioning toilets, the hot & cold water shutoffs for my washing machine with ease. He also installed an outdoor shower with hot & cold running water. He took the time to bury the water lines without ever being asked to do so. Jay is a most competent and personable. I will ask for him the next time I need plumbing services.

Description of Work: Hired to install a vinyl shower pan and bench cover to replace old tub, install new valve and update pvc plumbing line to shower head for our bathroom renovation. A fairly easy job for anybody in the trade, or so one would assume. Lou's sent out two labors to complete the work yet it still took these guys over 4 hours to finish the job. Labor and material totaled over $1,200.00. After much complaining L.P. did agree to make a small reduction to the charges however, not enough to justify actual physical labor and the small amount of materials used. After L.P. left my home I discovered the guys didn't bother to clean up after their work. They left the old pvc yet took my copper valve that I specifically asked to keep as it was still in good working condition. Bridget assured me it would be returned however, I'm still waiting.

Description of Work: He repaired my toilet but then a week later it broke again. I asked him about it and he said, "I told you it would break again unless you paid $145 to fix it." He never told me that. He also gave me an estimate on some paiting and remodeling work.

+ 0 moreI have an old house that could probably use a full makeover but in the meantime I fix a little at a time. My own handyman replaced my toilet and also had to rip up the floor. This is when we heard the leak from under the house from the main line. It led to a list of other faults (too much to go into). I had to shut off water for a day and pray that I'd find the right plumber. The best part of the experience was their confidence and attitude which alleviated my anxiety, and then the results were clean and proffesional. These guys were great.
Description of Work: replaced cracked and corroded pipes in bathroom and under house...very dirty job that they did in a focused and determined manner, no time wasted...it was expensive for me , but they do deserve every penny

+ -1 moreWe use him when we need plumbing work. We have used him 3 or 4 times in the last 4 or 5 years. We don't use him that often, but we have always had good success with him. The price we paid did not include the price of the faucet. It was $65.00 when they came in fixed the stool in the bathroom, but I don't remember when that was. It's a county business and somebody else had used him and had good luck. Usually you get people who tell you they will be there and they show up 60 hours later. Lou’s shows up pretty much on time. It is not Lou but one of his workers that shows up. His price was fair.
Description of Work: Lou's Plumbing fixed the plumbing in the bathroom. He fixed the tank and fixed the faucet.

+ -1 moreWe had called two plumbing companies that were recommended to us by an individual who was retired from the building trades. One never called us back but Lou's did. About two hours later they sent an employee named Alan to diagnose our problems. He had all the parts and equipment he needed on his truck and worked efficiently to complete the job. Alan was personable, professional, careful and very knowledgeable. We would definitely use this company again and will be talking to them when we get ready to consider remodeling our two bathrooms
Description of Work: Fixed three leaky faucets- two in bathrooms and one in kitchen. Also replaced inner workings of two toilet tanks and checked on water pressure problems in house that has original 34 year old plumbing.

Description of Work: He came out and unclogged my kitchen sink drain, which required a 75' snake, and made sure it was completely unclogged by checking the sink and the dishwasher.
