Description of Work: they have been to my house several times and the problem continues to exist. On one visit the tech said a part needed to be ordered and i would hear back to schedule. after 3 months i followed up. After part installed, doors worked for 2 days and then did not work properly. The job is not done properly the first time on several occasions. it seems every time they come, the problem is not fixed or temporarily works...

Description of Work: Garage door wasn't working properly. Thought I was going to have to replace the motor or something costly. Turned out is was a simple adjustment. Also purchased a new remote and he lubed the runners up good. He took the time to show me how to set the remote and answered a number of questions.

Description of Work: The arrived early, examined my garage door, replaced a bunch of missing screws on various hinges, tightened all hinges, lubed the entire thing and did some other repairs that they explained and I promptly forgot about. Long story, short it all worked great when they left.

 + -1 morecall originally for a broken garage door cable. The young lady that answered the phone was friendly and very helpful and set up the appointment at my convience. The rep arrived on time and quickly fixed the issue. I discussed how i wished i could have a opener installed but being such and old house it couldn't be done according to 2 previous company. The rep took his time and looked at the garage door and the opening and stated, and quot;yes it can be done.and quot; I couldn't have the standard kind of garage door opener but i could have one. So i setup the appointment and again he came back and within acouple of hours i had a garage door opener!! It was an early christmas present from me to me!!! I strongly recommend this company, everyone was friendly, helpful and professional.
Description of Work: They were excellent! They did what other company's claimed couldn't be done which was install a garage door opener. I will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

 + -1 moreThey were very prompt in responding and doing the initial repair. However due to the selection of openers that were available I chose another vendor.
Description of Work: The garage door opener was not working. A service man came out and repaired it that day. However within a month it was broken yet again. When I called hey sent out the same service person at no charge to check out the reason. I did not use this same company to replace the motor as they did not carry the opener that I wanted.

Description of Work: I called several companies and all of them wanted to sell me a new garage door for 300-400 bucks. G&G came out I told them that I had tried to fix it myself, but we had an electical problem that I couldn't find. The Tech tested and couldn't find the reason why we had the electical short, but was able to work around the problem and fix the door. They NEVER tried to upsell me,and I would call them again if I ever have a problem with my Garage Doors.

Description of Work: Broken door, needed spring. Sent DD email late at night requesting a return call. I received a call promptly the next a.m. Upon explaining problem on the phone, I was giving an estimated cost for the repairs. We set an appt. Technician arrived on time, was very professional, answered all my questions, compleded the job at the quoted price. I was totally pleased with the service of everyone involved. Total cost of job was $159.00 and I received a 10% discount utilizing a coupon that was offered, by the company, on line.

We made an appointment to make the repair the same afternoon, and they even called later to ask if they could show up early. Repair was made swiftly and professionally. They also offered a 10 percent discount to Angie's List members, so that saved me more than $20. Outstanding service and quality - highly recommended!
Description of Work: Replaced a broken spring on our large garage door. Replaced as a pair, as always recommended by garage door companies. They also performed preventative maintenance on the entire garage door and opener.

 + -1 moreIt's owned by a woman. She is excellent. We found her at the Home Show at Daytona Beach where she was one of the vendors. We had been having trouble with our garage door and that's how we ended up with her and we have been happy with her ever since. The price is very competitive. They were a little late. I will be using them again this spring. I wouldn't say anything bad about them.
Description of Work: Elite Overhead Door came out last spring for a service call. They come out every couple of years for any maintenance. They squirt it with WD40 and make it not squeak and make sure it works all the time. They replaced my garage door 10 years ago.
