Kudos to Nick Young, the Installer. He was very friendly, neat, on time, efficient, very professional and gave us exceptional/top-of-the-line service. He also took the time out to explain how to work the garage door opener and we are extremely satisfied with the service and the time it took him to install our new garage door and door opener. Nick’s dedication and hard work showed us he is an exemplary employee and professionally represented your company, D&D Garage Doors and he is a keeper. This is our first-time using D&D Garage Doors and will be using them in the future and will definitely recommend them highly to others. nowNEW Scheduling with the office was easy; however, the repair technician could have done a better job, in my opinion, repairing my door. I am not happy that he bent the door track versus uninstalling the wheel and left dirty hand prints on my garage door. For the price paid, I expect better. I would not use or recommend them for any future issues/repairs. I went to clean my garage door and noticed the guy scratched it. Completely disappointed! I contacted the manager. He apologized, advised me that bending the door track is the correct way to repair and that he would speak with the technician. I’m not 100% convinced, nor am I 100% satisfied. If he offered to replace the bent door track (at no charge) and refund the $99 service call, I could have been a happier customer. Lesson learned - Don’t use this company!

The person that came out to my house to look at the door for my estimate was very polite and didn't try to do any over selling. I got exactly what I wanted. It took a few weeks for delivery, but they explained that in the beginning so I was expecting it. When it finally came in, the people who came to install it were very organized and got straight to work. The only reason I gave it a 4 in Price is that they are at the higher scale of pricing from the people I checked, but I thought it was worth the money just due to what they were offering me.

D and D installed the garage doors and openers for our builder. There was a problem with one of the openers that required several repairs. The double door would start to come down and at times go back. Service was good (Nick and Keith were great), prompt, the techs were real pros but for some reason the problem reoccurred after it was fixed several times. Long story short the owner/management made things right by replacing both openers with better belt driven units that are quiet and work great. The owner and his management must be complimented. They used a problem as an opportunity to shine! I won't complain about the problem but will tell everyone how great they responded and the happy ending. Already I'm giving them additional business for their service.

The bolt holding the bracket that connects to the spring for my double car steel kick-out garage door suddenly pulled out of the wall. I called a few door companies for service charges and availability. Service charges were fairly consistent, but D & D Garage Doors was able to confirm an appointment for the following morning. Service technician Bill Cain arrived earlier than the appointment time, which was appreciated, and quickly went to work. He replaced the faulty bolts with larger, more secure bolts and quickly reattached the spring. I was impressed by his can-do attitude and his helpful suggestions for possible future needs. I will definitely recommend D & D Garage Doors for service needs and will call them again if needed.

Called on Friday as I was having an intermittent problem with the garage door. They advised they could come on Monday which was OK with me. Appointment time confirmed between noon and 2:00 PM. Technician arrived within the assigned time frame. Dressed nicely and polite. Discussed the problem with me and then reviewed the operation of the door to try and isolate possible causes for the intermittent problem. Technician (Mark) proceeded to do a regular check on the door paying particular attention to areas that might have caused my intermittent problem. Nothing was found abnormal. Lubrication was completed. Overall servicing took about 45 minutes. It is my understanding that the service call is good for 90 days should the problem re-occur. (Problem was that the door would lower about 3 inches and then stop (and not retract). This happened a couple of times. I believe that the problem may have been caused by very strong sun light into one of the safety beam devices.)

Very professional. We liked how they took care of permits. Others were willing to do the job w/o permit saying no one would notice. The only compliant I have is that we waited a week or two longer than I expected and likewise the actually installation took a full day rather than the expected half a day. Both were a bit annoying, but thats all. Otherwise, well done.

We contacted them to replace a garage door. The HOA has very strict guidelines. He said he had worked with them before (which they attest). The first quote wasn't an insulated door. When we called to get a quote for an insulated door it took a month for him to get back to us and say he would send it. It took two phone calls for him to get that sent. It wasn't a quote for an insulated door, it was a quote for a regular door with an insulated kit. So the HOA sent it back to me and said that they were shocked because he had done several doors within our community. At this point I'm done with them because I would like to have the garage door finished before the end of May, and I haven't got 3 weeks to wait.

Excellent experience overall - from the person who answered the phone to the repair person who came to the door. Within a few hours of my call they had someone there and replaced the garage door springs in no time. The price was exactly what was quoted on the phone.

Elite can when they indicated they would. Removed the old broken spring, replaced and adjusted new spring. total time was about 75 minutes. Door operates like a new garage door.

The installer was very well organized and neat. Took away the old door and related parts. While testing the door the opener lost it's motor capacetor and was replaced the next day by D and D. The door seems to be very well made and was approved by the Port Orange code inspector.

I used this company last year to replace a broken tension spring on the garage door. Liked the company. They nspected all the equipment and didn't try to sell me a new unit. This year my opener was a little sluggish and the remotes were sketchy. Rather than replace the remotes, I bought a whole new system. Again, they put me with a very efficient model and didn't try to up-sell on anything. Installer arrived on schedule and did the work as ordered. He was courteous and professional and explained everything involved with the installation and programming the remotes. He cleaned up the garage to where you would never know any work was done. Would definitely use again.. A side note: After one month, one of the remotes stopped working. I stopped by their shop and they gave me a new remote no questions asked and explained how to program it. Good customer service..

I have a double door and it was top of the line. They were very prompt and responsive to my needs. It was excellent craftsmanship. They were excellent and I cannot say enough good about them. I like the people that I worked with.

tech showed up right on time, inspected the door and provided a detailed description of what needed to be done, work was done in less than an hour, final checks on the door by operating it up and down multiple times to ensure proper working condition, timely response, quality work and reasonable cost, would use this company again!!!

i called for an appointment to have a 1/2 horse power chain driven opener installed in my garage. Was told by office personnel at D and D that installer would arrive on Tuesday between 11 AM and 1 PM. Installer did not arrive as indicated. I called the office again to ask when the installer may arrive. It was explained to me that the installer was running late and would be arriving around 4 PM. This was somewhat disturbing that I had to call them instead of they calling me to indicate the delay. The installer called around 3:45 PM indicating that he was probably 45 minutes away from arriving. Installer arrived around 4:15 to 4:30 PM range. The installation went well. The installer was professional, friendly, and skilled. He installed the opener, serviced the door, and explained it's operation. I was very pleased with the installation. The D and D coupon that was advertised on the web site was accepted but not until some explanation from me explained what the coupon was for. Apparently the D and D office personnel were not familiar with the coupon and how to apply it to the overall cost. Besides the two minor criticisms on punctuality and the understanding about the coupon I still give D and D an A+ due to the installers professionalism. He was great.

Door opens and closes perfectly now. great job and spent 30 minutes making sure everything was right. Much better than I could have done alone.

Service was superlative.....no one is ever happy when garage door springs break - I checked around and the price right now (2013) is about $229 to replace them. These folks drove from Ormond Beach to Deland so there was cost to them for that. The gentleman (Mark) also found a broken roller and fixed it (free) and fixed the one of the places where the arm seats into the door - one of the metal screws was coming out. After he was done, the door sounded new. Plus, he was in and out within 45 minutes So, basically same day service - courtesy, professionalism, and extra special work. Thanks.

The garage door spring was replaced on the same day I called. The service person was curteous and professional.

D and D Garage Doors are really punctual, professional, they fellow who put in the door was very good, their response to us, they told us to spray some kind of lubricant on it every month, so it doesn't go bad and they came to our house and brought the cannister spray which they didn't have to do. We had to go to their place and buy it, but the lady brought it to us and then we paid them for it. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

The D and D service man came to our home as promised. He immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired our garage doors. My husband and I were happy with the service that they provided and will use them again.

Stuart is an excellent representative for the company. I was getting ready for some travel and he came over very quick to review the job and give me a price. It cost us more to meet the safety and code requirements but we were grateful to know what was needed. We made the decison, gave him a deposit and the door and opener were delivered and installed as quoted. Nice job. The only downside was that the garage was not left in a workmanlike manner. Everything was left for us to clean up.
