never do reviews because I feel like they are a waste since everyone has different opinions on what they like and don't like, etc. However after having Service Star come to my home today, and them doing such a great job I decided to do a review. I made contact with them from a internet search, their user friendly website popped up. I chose them because they are within 10 miles from my home in Oviedo, and my regular AC company told me they would try to come out today but couldn't guarantee it. I called because my AC unit kept shutting off and wasn't cooling. My first point of contact was with a bubbley nice girl (Amanda). She was so helpful and kind patiently walking me through some steps to try to solve my problem over the phone. After attempting the few steps she directed me on and my AC continuing to not work, she advised they could be at my home within 1 hour. To my surprise 28 minutes later there was a knock at my door and it was Service Star (Donnie). Within a couple of minutes he found the problem and fixed it. It was the batteries in my thermostat, they were dead. He pulled two batteries from his service bag and my AC came right on and started cooling. I felt like a dummy, a retired engineer couldn't diagnose dead batteries. He proceeded to go through my AC system checking everything. We went outside to the outside system and he hooked up a shop vac and cleaned out the drain and I couldn't believe what was coming out. It was horrific. I am happy my wife didn't see it otherwise she would be upset. At the end the only thing he said that we could use was a Ultraviolet light other than that, our system was perfect. I am so happy that I called Service Star and will refer them to all my friend and family.

Service Star is fantastic, just as their name says Service and they are a Star. We called late in the evening, they came right to the house, troubleshooting the problem, made optional suggestions and trusted them to select the correct way to get the job done. Service Star rating is very important with that they returned ahead of the schedule time the next day and had completed the installation before lunch.

Everything was exactly as Cathy said it would be. The installers work tirelessly until they finish the job and even cleaned up their mess

I found this company on Angie's list I called them and they came out immediately and fixed my problem with my air-conditioner and it only cost me $75 fast service good prices amazing

Wonderfully! Called late morning and the tech was there by 2:30. He worked in the rain (he didn't like being in the rain but fixed our problem anyway). The capacitor had failed and needed to be replaced. He also let us know that another company sold us on unnecessary parts in the past. We'll have them do our maintenance from now on!

Matt was very courteous, informative and helpful in explaining what was going on with my a/c unit. I was very happy that your company has caring employees who take pride in how they do their job and treat your customers in the utmost professionalism!! Kudos to Matt!!!!! My husband fixed the problem before the service man came, but when he came, he confirmed the problem and went out of his way to give us very helpful advice on how to prevent this problem to ever happen again. He also came in the house to see the unit and if indeed was working properly. He did not charge us a penny. He came on time and was great peace of mind.

Fast efficient knowledgeable and priced right. Cathy, the owner called within an hour after submitting an estimate. Answered questions promptly while comparing bids. Installation professionally completed. Best of all glad we found this reputable group.

I woke up this morning with no air-conditioning at 7 o'clock in the morning I called service star I talk to their answering service who then got Kathy to return my call within five minutes by 815 the technician was at my home found a faulty float switch $125 later I have a cool crisp air conditioning I would recommend them to all my friends and neighbors

Very well, I had a nice young man Matt at my house he cleaned out my drain line that was completely clogged. He showed me how easy it is to maintain the drain line myself. He was very patient with me and showed me how my air conditioner works showed me pictures of his little boy and girl. He was such a delight I told my daughter to call and schedule a time for Matt to service her AC

Matt was awesome. Installers where very nice and went above and beyond what we expected. I would definitely recommend Service Star to anyone who needs A/C repair or service.

I was impressed by how fast this company showed up to my home fixed my air-conditioner my total bill was $142 worth every penny of it I was so impressed with the technician Donnie that I gave him a $35 tip. He found the problem right away and fixed it really fast I am so happy with this company and I will recommend them to everybody I know

The guy showed up on time for his appointment he did a thorough check through my system I was very nervous so I followed him around and he explain the operation on how everything goes he flushed out my drains checked all the pressures wiped it off he did a very nice job and my unit checked out with a clean bill of health

Air Tech Matt Harris arrived within 2 hours of our initial service call, we lost our cold air over night (July 7th) and they helped ASAP. Couldn't of had a better experience... Honest, good work. Will only use Matt again in the future to come to the house and work on our AC.

Installation went very well and fast. I am very happy with the service I received. Even after the installation, I had a problem and they came back immediately at a time convenient for me to correct it. They are very responsive.

I called after coming home from that my a/c was not working,I called Service Star and sent a service man to my home, he found the fan motor was not working,he then made very effort to get it working so I could have air for the night,which I'm happy to say was success. The morning he returned with my warranty fan motor and A/C has been working great since.

I needed service immediately and the response was incredible. He was so thorough and went through everything When he was done, he went through everything he did and related my issues with what he did to fix it. My ac works incredibly better and I immediately felt a difference in the flow of air and cooling.
