They did a Great Job!

Wonderful.

After interviewing several HVAC vendors I selected Rinaldi's due to their reputation and years of experience. The salesman, Dean, was knowledgable about the products and services they could provide. He was persistent but not annoying in his follow up. The installation staff did a good job, on the first day they worked until 10pm calling in 2 more installers so that we would have air conditioning before they left the job. (This is a company policy.) The installers covered the floor with drop clothes and were considerate of our belongings. They took the time to instruct my wife and I on how the controls of the new system worked. It is important to note that I worked with a local energy and quot;raterand quot; as I prepared by Florida home for many years of comfortable and cost efficient operations.

They were very nice and trust worthy. They did a good job. They explain and tell things the way it is. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

The installation process became very disappointing and stressful for us because Rinaldi's left details unfinished and did not communicate with us. After the main installation, we did not hear from them for 2 weeks. We called to tell them about the problems and were told that other jobs had kept them busy because of the cold weather and the holidays. That same explanation was repeatedly given to us as we continued to try to have the details of the job resolved. They came back to fix holes they left in the ceiling and other items and when they left there was still a hole in the ceiling. They came back and fixed it very unprofessionally. The third time they plastered it shut . . All in all, we were inconvenienced unecessarily due to their lack of communication in the office, with us and their workers. The co-owner of the company talked to me, again reminding me how busy the company was that month due to the tax break about to expire. We told our sales person up front that we did not need them to hurry our our installation because we already had met the tax break requirements with another project. By the time the installation was complete we had spent much time calling, waiting for them to get here, rescheduling do-overs, and resolving other details. Definitely has left us with a feeling of regret. I hired them initially because I knew they had years of experience and good ratings. They told me that our job was an exception to their normal service level because they were busy that month. That doesn't help when we just spent 14,000. We do feel we purchased good equipment and it was installed correctly. The problems were mainly with the finishing details,and lack of communication. Below is a list of details about problems we had to deal with: . 1.removed moulding to attic entrance. Did not replace. left the parts lying in the attic 2.removed attic entrance cover. did not replace, also left in attic 3. did not close hole in ceiling where a pipe was removed 4 the first day workers arrived we told them to leave all of the copper scraps on our property. this was not done 5 fixed hole in ceiling incorrectly, had to be redone 6. left huge globs of spray foam insullation in the back of the house, had to come back. 7.sales person promised us some things that the co-owner later explained were not possible because they were so busy

They were very professional in their response and performed the bulk of the work at the time they said they would. The General Manager (Scott Hudson) worked with us to solve our cooling issues and ensured we were happy with the final results. We were very satisfied with the overall system performance in the majority of the house upon completion of the work except for the cooling in the far end of the house (farthest from the air handler). Scott and the Installation Supervisor (Dave Budd) worked through several solutions to enure the problem was fixed, ultimately enlarging the duct work which serviced that end of the house to increase air flow. We believe that problem has been fixed although the final test will be when the hotter weather returns. In any event, Scott has reassured us several times that their work is not completed until we are completely satisfied. And his attention to that issue over the last couple of months leaves me no doubt he will do so.

They had installed my furnace and heat pump so I just used them to have it fixed. Their pricing is on the higher side but they are professional, responsive and punctual.

Their price came in right at budget and followed up by giving us free filters and mailing their newsletters to us. It took them a little while to get it installed but they did a good job. I would use this company again.

AC would not turn on - I called in the AM and got a same day appt. The tech told me our "firestat" was bad and not required, so he bypassed it, and that solved the problem. He advised me that our 17 year old air handler was in bad condition and that it should be cleaned or replaced. He explained in detail why it was covered with condensation and mold and why it was so inefficient, and pointed out how badly it had been originally installed, with twisted ductwork. With our electric bill increasing by $200 a month when we use the AC in the summer, I was hoping replacing the air handler might reduce our electric usage. I called the next day and techs were there by noon to install the new one. It was a lengthy job, about 8 hours. They explained what they were doing and were very polite and professional.

From the very first contact, the Rinaldi's personnel displayed a very high level of professional knowedge and a willingness to apply it to our particular needs. The estimator provided a selection of brands and models chosen to meet performance, efficiency and financial goals. The installation crew started on time, knew what they were doing and totally cleaned up after themselves. A week later, one of the installers returned to check that the system was working properly. It has been woring flawlessly and keeps the house very comfortable. The equipment not only runs well, they left it looking great.

First, Rinaldi's is one of the most professional home improvement companies I've ever dealt with. They should give lessons to others in the industry. Every appointment was on time; every request was honored. The sales guy, Steve, was extremely accommodating and oversaw the job. I put this guy through the wringer before accepting the job by requesting several follow-up estimates on systems that I found on manufacturer websites, but ended up accepting his top recommendation in the end. He happily stuck with me through all this and provided what I asked. The installers were courteous, efficient and quiet. They didn't even seem to take breaks (not that this would have bothered me.) They just got the job done just like Steve said they would. A week later, Addison came out to do a one week set-up/tune-up and detail the job. He touches everything up and addresses any concerns that you may notice after the installers left. He also explains the system and how to use and maintain it.

These guys were great. They came right out after I called and really took a lot of time with me to explain everything. I could not complain about the price either, after all they did. They were clean, professional, and very friendly.

Not very well, this time. When I called, I was asked when I would be home. I said, from 10AM until 2PM. The person who answered said fine, and that there would be a $89 service charge. The service tech did not arrive before 2PM, nor did I get a call. After I called a second time, I rescheduled for later the same day. A tech arrived around 4:30PM, spent a long time looking at my system and found nothing wrong. He handed me a bill for a $99, not the $89 that was quoted over the phone. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told to call Scott the following AM. That eve, I realized that my spouse was confused about how to set the thermostat for heat, because there were 2 settings for heat, ''heat'' and ''e heat.'' The following day, after speaking with Scott, the operations manager, I learned that the thermostat was supposed to be set on ''e heat.'' The thermostat had been installed by Rinaldi's on a previous visit. There was ''no charge'' for the service call per Scott.

The chief installer was friendly and very helpful in explaining what they offered for the price and he made sure we got what he told us. He worked with us to give us the best unit at the lowest price with a ten year guarantee. The installers came and worked hard all day to install the air conditioner units. They didn't take shortcuts even though it was a hot and humid day and our house hadn't been cool for a few days. We felt the price Rinaldi's offered was the best of those we compared although the prices for quality air conditioner units installed seem very high!

Overall, my experience has been great. They have come to fix various air conditioning problems, since I bought this house. I had always found them to be very professional and felt like I could trust them. They installed an air handler in my attic last summer. Subsequently, we found a problem with it and the tech they sent out was very rude and unprofessional and even overcharged me. I wrote a letter of complaint to Rinaldi's and recieved a call confirming that I was correct and apologizing for the tech's behavior. I also received a check for the overcharge immediately. Although our experience was not perfect, I will continue to use them, since they were willing to apologize and make things right. I have used them since then and have had a different tech and excellent service.

Very happy with overall experience. They showed up when scheduled, performed all work as promised, and cleaned up after themselves when job was completed.

A technician was at my home less than an hour after calling. (Apparently a previous appointment had cancelled.) He performed a fairly thorough checkout of the system. Since the system was low on freon, he indicated that there potentially could be a leak in the system, which might be costly. He recommended to just add freon, then wait to see if the problem returned quickly before doing any more work. My only complaint is on the cost. The diagnostic visit (as explained on the phone) was $100 and the freon was $25 per pound. I though it was a bit much for a visit of less than 30 minutes.

THEY HAPPEN TO BE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY ALWAYS SHOW UP ON TIME. IVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM. IF I DO HAVE A PROBLEM, THEY DO SHOW UP ON TIME (WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME).

They did a good job. It was a good product as well. We were attentive and made sure job was done right. We are happy with the price.

The technician was polite and arrived on time. air conditioning technicians always come off like car salesman though. I never really feel like I understand why I may need something. I feel like I am being pressured into more than I really may need.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH RINALDIS HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING. VERY PERSONAL AND INFORMATIVE. EXPLAINED WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WHY AND TOLD ME THINGS THAT I COULD DO IN BETWEEN CHECKUPS.

RINALDIS PROVIDED THE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE THAT WE NEEDED TO REPLACE OUR UNIT THAT WAS 15 YEARS OLD. THEY DID A COMPLETE EVALUATION AND PROVIDED US WITH THEIR BEST INSTALLERS AND SERVICE TECHNICIANS.
