I saw the ad and ratings on Angies list and also saw them in the book. I decided to call them as I have never used them before. The book had a $30 off coupon as well!! They were very professional and arrived within the timeframe. I received a call one hour before they arrived, which is very nice! Junior (the plumber's name) was extremely professional and found the problem with our toilet leak very quickly. He did an awesome job and at the end, you would have never known someone was there to fix it as the area was cleaned up very well. I will call them in the future.

Technician (Lyndon George) was an absolute pleasure - did not get frustrated and a very friendly (professional so) man. Scheduling was handled very well and promptly - Lyndon showed up when promised and even called before arriving. Work was completed in a professional manner and Lyndon cleaned up and validated there were not outstanding leaks before leaving. I would highly recommend this company and hope that you get Lyndon. Scheduling was handled very well. Frankly, we attempted to squeeze in for the previous day and when the Technician was running behind on another call their office called to advise of the delay and offered to have our appointment rescheduled - which we did: for the first call the following morning. Office called in advance of technician showing up and he arrived when promised. Lyndon George was an absolute please to work with and he even offered some helpful suggestions. Lyndon did his work professionally and has an wonderful attitude - as he did not get frustrated and kept a very upbeat / positive attitude. The technician was prompt and proffessional but I was amazed how expensive the quote was.He said my toilet needed to be rebuilt and it would be $189 but would give me the Angie's List price of $159. He also quoted me $200 to snake EACH shower, but would give me a "deal" and only charge me $175 for the second shower. I was appalled that it was so expensive and felt I was getting ripped off, so I did not use their service. I ended up going to Lowe's and getting the parts myself and spent only $30 to rebuild my toilet and snake my shower drains. Much better than the $534 they quoted me.

They were pushy in trying to sell me an entire re-plumbing job.

Customer service was very nice when I called. I called them around 9:30am and they set me up with a same day appointment, between 11am-1pm. The technician arrived early, by 10:45am and looked at my kitchen sink to give a diagnostic. He then told me the price would be $180 (he verified in his book of prices) and I had a $30 off coupon for being an Angie's list Member. He told me I could pay the service fee that day and have him fix it, or he can come back when I am ready to have it fixed. Decided for him to fix it and it took him about 25 minutes at most. Service was quick and seemed easy and the technician was professional, courteous and clean. I plan to use them in the future and would recommend them to friends in the future.

Alfredo made sure he picked up all the garbage from the area. He worked around a wall cabinet we had, instead of having us tear it down. When working on the shower leak, we thought he would have to cut thru the wall, and told him to go ahead. He managed to fix the pipes without cutting the wall at all. He was so pleasant, It was like having a friend come over and fix the problems!!! I will request him in the future for all plumbing issues. Also thanks for the $30.00 off coupon. They inspected my ceiling, my shower, the bath tub, the pipes and everything. Turns out the previous homeowners had a leak there, but it was resolved and there was no wetness anywhere. The guy told me a lot about plumbing, what to look for, and why he new there was no problem. He didn't charge me anything, and wrote me up a future quote if I ever wanted to tear out the ceiling to expose more pipes to take a look, in case a problem ever did come up again. Would totally use this company again!

I found a water leak under my kitchen sink so I contacted Reliance Plumbing at 11:13am and by 12:45pm the tech. Alfredo arrived to my home. I cannot tell you the last time I had such excellent service from my initial phone call to Alfredo arriving. Alfredo was courteous, knowledgeable & extremely professional. He explained what was going on with my disposal and showed me why I needed a new one. Alfredo took the time to explain the warranties and the other features on the disposal that might assist me in the future such as the reset button etc. Alfredo noticed I had water/mold/mildew damage to my kitchen cabinet so he went and contacted a company on my behalf who is coming out today to assess how to repair the cabinet. It appears I had the leak for some time. It is so refreshing to receive such quality service. Alfredo made sure to clean up his entire work area and tested the new disposal a few times and asked me if I had any other questions or concerns. Also, I felt the price was fair and the time to service my home was outstanding!

The plumber, Lyndon, came two hours earlier than promised and went to work installing 93 feet of water line. The hardest part was tunneling the new pipe under the concrete driveway (about 12 feet). Work was interrupted a couple of times by rain in the afternoon, but the whole thing was finished by early evening. Water service was interrupted only a short time, making my wife happy because it was back on by the time she had to start supper. I used Reliance Plumbing in 1994 to re-plumb my house, and the quality of service has not slipped during the intervening years. I certainly can recommend Reliance for your major plumbing needs; and they are probably just as good for your minor plumbing needs (note: I do my own minor plumbing jobs).

I have used them before. They charged way too much. $250 is their minimum, so I had to pay that when they only changed the faucet. We have had them several times, and their experience is mixed. They have one plumber who seems to lack people skills. He showed up one night at 9:30 after we had waited all afternoon for him. He showed up, we were already in bed, the house was dark, and he rang the door bell. My husband went to the door in his shorts, and the guy instead of apologizing, came in, and he is still working for them. He came last week. He replaced two bathroom sinks side by side together, and he didn't mount them parallel, so they weren't in line, but he couldn't see that. The last time he showed up on time, and the work well. They did what they were asked to do. They didn't tell me that there was a $250 minimum ahead of time.

I have used Reliance for several years and have never been disappointed. From re-plumbing my entire house to fixing the washer connection. They are prompt in scheduling and showing up. All work is first grade.

I called them at midnight on Sunday. Their answering service picked up, and I asked to be called the very first opportunity they had in the morning. I didn't expect a call until the morning but within a half hour they called me beck. I explained I had both toilets of the house and the shower backed up, and asked for them to call me back first thing in the morning. On Monday morning I didn't wait to be called, and called them again. I had two technicians at my door by 8:30 am. They diagnosed the problem, gave me the estimate on their estimate book, and told me what it would cost if they could unclog from the clean-out in front of the house, and what it would cost if they had to uninstall the toilet and do it from the toilet drain itself. By 9:00am, they were packed up, and paid. Be sure to check their website, they have discount coupons that I didn't notice. I could have saved myself $25 and I didn't.

The technician quickly fixed my plumbing issues, and did a quality job. However, $300 for 10 minutes of work seems really steep... and that total included a discount.

Your company was chosen from your 2012-2013 Yellow Pages advertisement on page 478 that listed your services that included “Leak Detection Hidden Wall & Floor Leaks”/ “Free Estimates”. When my initial call to you occurred, I only observed the water coming in to the garage area and the saturation of dirt around the outside garage wall underneath the bottom water faucet. On the day of your repairman’s arrival, water was spewing from that faucet’s extended pipe. I assumed that he provided the leak detection service that you advertised and provided repair for the problem. He gave an estimate of $350 (Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars) plus parts of $90 (Ninety Dollars). Because he indicated interest in a new/boxed office chair in my garage, he lowered the parts cost to $45 (Forty-Five Dollars). Later, I noticed that there was no mention of a senior citizen discount verbally, or in writing. When Luis left, he showed me the hole in the wall that he knocked out to repair a portion of faucet pipe with rocks packed into the hole. At the time, I did not see water leaking (I assumed that he turned on the main water connection at the street). Your company was paid by credit card. He indicated that I would be responsible for having the hole repaired and that he knew someone who may be able to take care of it and would get back with me. He did not. A Leak Adjustment Form was forwarded to Orange County Utilities. A few days later, the ground underneath that same faucet began to appear wet. After making contact with someone in construction who was willing to handle the repair of the wall, an appointment was set for March 1. The wet area beneath the outside faucet had standing water. The construction person called me outside to show me that when the rocks were removed from around the “repaired” pipe, a steady stream of water appeared flowing down the wall. It was suggested to me to have your company come back and widen the hole to expose more of the pipe that needed repair completion before closing the hole. I called your company the s. He returned my call and indicated that although I had a commitment on Monday, March 4 morning and had to leave by ame day for completion of the job 10 am, he asked, “what about 9 am?, it could cost more money for more work”. On Monday morning (just before 9:30 am), The receptionist answered your phone and indicated that she was not an answering service as was the case upon my original call for the initial appointment in February. She indicated that you normally give a two hour window (9am – 11am), which the repairman did not give. My 11 am commitment was canceled so that I could be available. Surely, he showed up after 10 am and indicated that it would cost more money to open the hole where we could see water coming up from the “repaired” pipe area. My issue with his solution was that I had no more money to repair the same pipe area that should have been detected for a leak. He allowed me to speak to the receptionist on his phone, who offered a negotiated additional price of $235 - $265 for you to do the work. Since the receptionist needed to speak to the General Manager about this issue, I spoke with him directly. I did state that I did not notice the repairman actually detect for leaks during his repair visit, and that “a kindergartener could have come and see water spewing from the outside pipe and water standing in the garage to know to focus on that area for repair”. Your response was that the repairman did not use the Leak Detection equipment and if he had used your equipment worth $30k (Thirty Thousand Dollars, my repair cost would have been much higher. Your point was for me to consider re-piping the plumbing in my 16 yr. old home because newer homes’ plumbing are not built to last as long as the older homes built 40 – 50 years ago. Your compromise, after extensive discussion, to have the repairman do more work on that pipe area at no cost but there was no guarantee that late 5 or more feet from the repair, another leak would occur. The repairman said that he would not do any more work to the pipe unless I find a neighbor, or the construction person come and enlarge the hole in the wall to the ground and cut one of the pipes behind the “repaired” one with the blue tape (next to the pipe with the duct tape)! He left and said that once I have that done, call your company and he would come out and fix the leak for free. No one will widen the hole that Reliance put in my wall and assume liability for cutting a plumbing pipe. That is your job! I now have to go to the street and turn my water meter area off and on until your finish the plumbing repair on the pipe or refund my money so that I can pay someone else who can. I need you to contact me immediately and finish the job by widening the hole in the wall for leak detection and repair or credit my money back on my card.

Excellent service. Response within one hour. On-time arrival. Courteous phone response. Flat rate pricing assured that the cost did not spiral up even if it took additional time to get a job done right.

Reliance Plumbing were very responsible, they handle pretty much anything you have a problem with, and they are attentive to detail. They are not inexpensive but the quality of the work is excellent.

They did a very good job but charged a lot for labor.

I have used them several time and they have been fine. I have also used them to re-pipe the house about 8 or 9 years ago. They were reliable and their prices were reasonable. They did good work and I will use them again in the future.

It was good and they were great. They did a good job. They are great plumbers who do fantastic work. They hit the pocketbook heavy. We would absolutely use them again and we always call them.

The company was available to answer the phone when I called. The supervisor sent out two excellent workers. They were nicely dressed, clean and presentable. They gave good suggestions and were very hard workers. I appreciated their kindness and thoughtfulness. Make sure you ask for Gary & Oscar!

The repairman was 4 hours late, appeared at 8pm instead of 4pm. The man was exhausted by this time and very dirty.

The plumber arrived at 7:30pm on a Sunday night, about an hour after we called with our toilets and tubs backing up and overflowing. He removed a toilet and snake out the drain pipe. It took about 2.5 hours to clear the drain of tree roots and other materials. He then reset the toilet with a new wet seal and resealed the toilet to the floor. The technician worked tirelessly until about 11:30pm Sunday to finish the job. It was a tough job and he was exhausted afterwards, but he remained professional and pleasant during the entire ordeal. He took time to explain everything he was doing and how each step could be done and should be done and what the cost would be for every alternative. Reliable charges at a flat rate, so we knew our costs up front even though it took him 5 hours to do the job.

Called Reliance Plumbing to Service Two Leaking Toilets and Leak on the dishwasher. The plumber showed up on time, took a look at the work that needed to be done , and came back with an estimate of $250, which seem excessive for the work that needed it to be done. I told him No thanks, and he lowered to $200 given that he was already at the premises, I said that was fine. I told him what needs to be done and he said, that he need to replace the valves on the Toilets and a Seal on the dishwasher . It should take him about 2 hours. 35 minutes later he said it was done. I did question why he told me that it would take him 2 hrs, when he took 35 minutes and the price he charged me was based on two hours of work . He said that was we agreed on and left
