Made an appointment on Monday to have someone come out on Saturday to install a new garbage disposal. On Thursday someone called and said the don't make Saturday appointments. They said I could call Saturday morning to see if someone wasavailable. Very unprofessional. Bait band switch.

They confirmed the morning of. Arrived within the scheduled time frame. The problem was assessed and fixed professionally and fast. Alphonso was cheerful, friendly, and answered my questions. Great job.

He worked on it but finally told me my septic tank needed drained

This is a very very bad company. Stay out and never get close to them. Alphonso was very rude. He would not even listen for me to talk for five minutes. He spent 30 minutes driving to my home and wanted to leave in 2 minutes because I told him I do not need camera service since I had three cameras done on my sewer and can show him the video clips and just need his opinion. He would not listen and said either you let us do our own camera or we will not waste our time and left. He wanted to break a fight with me and I was almost going to call police on him. I called the office and told me never send this guy again to me. But they also failed in accommodating me with another time window. They agreed to come and do estimate before when I called them. It seems there is no communication between the office and the plumber. I do not know how this company made it to Angie's list. I lost my respect to Angie's list after this bad experience. It really means nothing to be on this list if a company like this can make it on the list. Or remove Reliance because they are unreliable!

The job was very difficult because the old drain plug was rusted and the teeth were broken off. Their technicians had to do a lot of work to get it off. He installed the new one and it looked wonderful, no scratches or dents or residual problems afterwards.

He quoted me a price, after I showed him my Angie's List coupon he increased the price. Then he changed it back. I found it to be unprofessional and would not use again.

The leak was quickly found, the wallboard was removed, and the leak was repaired. The service experts were excellent.

The Plumber called his boss to consult on other possible solutions. The Plumer demonstrated to me he was inexperienced. I spoke to the manager/owner and even though the problem wasn't resolved he agreed to reduce the bill from $275 to $130. I Wasn't happy but it was something. The best thing that came out of this experience was the customer care person they have by the name of Erica. She was very attentive, understanding and professional. A real pleasure to interact with.

Alphonso the technician that came to my house was very thorough and did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Plumber did not arrive. Called their reception, and said plumber would be later. Explained that was not possible since I had to make arrangements to have plumber arrive. Was upset since company nor the plumber called me to let me know he was not going to arrive during the time specified in advance. Considered it unprofessional, went with another company.

Appointment made 3 weeks ago and I confirmed 4 times date and time gauanteed the technician would call at 8:00 am to advise when he would arrive that morning. No call I called the answering service (this was a Saturday) twice. He finally called at 9 am and said he would arrive in 25 minutes. He did not arrive I called again waited 45 minutes he called again and said he would arrive in 45 minutes. This would have been11:45 am. He did not show. But the owner called and said he told him he would be at our house at 9 am. Bottom line he showed up at 1 pm and my husband was halfway done and told the to leave. The only good thing that happened was the owner came out to our house to apologize and said he was meeting with the technician on Monday. Extremely stressful!!!!

Smooth. Alphonse was nice, professional. Auguring wasn't that clean as robe expected. Same rag seemed to be used on multiple surfaces. Had to go to Lowes to pick up replacement tubing 13 dollars.

Flush worked when it was fixed and we have a new faucet system in garage. However the flush is acting up again today which is a Sunday. Called the call center who asked someone to call me back. He said since its an ongoing issue and we didn't order any parts they can't fix it today. Someone will call back tomorrow to confirm who will resolve it. I called the call center again to appraise them and they had no clue what to do about it.

We discussed several options and agreed to perform an complete overhaul, including draining the unit, replacing both heating elements and the thermostat.

INSPECTION OF WATER HEATER AND TIMER, DUE LACK OF HOT WATER. TECHNICIAN CHECKED THE SYSTEM, TIMER AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS TO FIND THAT THE TIMER WAS NOT DELIVERING ALL OF THE REQUIRED VOLTAGE TO THE WATER HEATER. ALL COMPONENTS WERE CHECKED AND VERIFIED TO BE WORKING AND THE TECHNICIAN PROVIDED ADVICE FOR FUTURE ACTIONS DUE TO AGE OF THE WATER HEATER AND PRIOR EVENTS THAT WERE UNREPORTED WHEN THE HOUSE WAS PURCHASED. I WAS VERY HAPPY TO OBSERVE THE TECHNICIAN WORKING AND HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS TO MY SATISFACTION. VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE OF THE TECHNICIAN.

Terrible! IF a Realtor calls to request the bid for a whole house repipe they charge $115.00 to come to provide an estimate . They don't charge anything if the homeowner makes the very same call for the very same service. This homeowner has moved out of the area and asked me to get bids for them. The manager explained this is because Realtors get multiple bids (she said 4-6 bids) and her company bids and "they don't hear back for whatever reason." I've never had someone charge me EXTRA because I'm doing something on behalf of an out of area client. She did say the $115 is credited back IF they get the bid.

Very well. Kenny was the plumber who promptly arrived to restore our water supply. He provided excellent service and explained precisely what the issue was and solved it at a reasonable price.

Company provided a time frame for technician to come out and provide free estimate. They called prior to his arrival to notify us he was on the way. He arrived within the time frame originally provided. Based on the quote, we had him complete repairs at that time. He was friendly and professional and the repairs were completed in short order. They honored the the coupon in the Angie's List book which was more than the coupon on their website. I can recommend them and would you them again for any future plumbing needs. -Dave

I called reliance plumbing because I had two toilets that needed to be reset. I was told that each toilet would cost $220 each to reset, which I thought to be very high. I did negotiate for the price of $350 for both and he accepted. The plumber finished in an hour, which was a lot quicker than expected. Later I noticed a very sloppy grout job at the base of both toilets. One spot in particular the wax was coming very far out from the toilet. I removed the excess wax, which exposed a chip in my brand new porcelain tile that was just put in. Obviously he tried to cover up the chip with the wax, which I found very unprofessional. We called their office to report the sloppy grouting and chip in the tile. They offered to fix the chip or give a $50 credit. We took the $50 because we really didn't want them back in our house. Would definitely not recommend them needless to say!

Had a leak in the pipes. Reliance told me they don't charge for an estimate. SO they came out and had a device to see if it was still plumbing. He noticed that the repair the first plumber did was defective. At my request he emailed a picture of the work. Because of that the first plumber agreed to come out to fix it. They were a huge help, and I would have never known!

The process was difficult, but I am pleased with the outcome, as the first hot water heater that they installed did not work correctly. The General Manager became involved and was able to get the distributor of the heater (NOT the manufacturer) to replace the malfunctioning heater. Alfredo, the Tech was an absolute delight, working extra hard and always checking that I understood what was going on. The offfice manager, I believe her name is Erica was always kind and positive, kept me updated on status and assured me that everything would be well-taken care of. I have since recommended Reliance Plumbing to others and would use them again in the future.

I was a little leery of relying on a plumbing company that relies on independent contractors, but Reliance sent me Lyndon, who turned out to be the kind of plumber that I had hoped for. He replaced an existing MOEN kitchen faucet that was still under warranty with a new one. While it sounds like a simple job, the tight working space under the kitchen sink, which also contained an extra-large garbage disposal and a water filtering unit, made it a challenge even for an experienced. licensed plumber. Lyndon tackled this job expertly, efficiently, courteously, and at a fair price, while leaving the working area perfectly clean and carting away all the old faucet parts. Not all of the reviews posted on Reliance are complimentary, but my wife and I were very pleased with Lyndon's work, and would welcome his future return on other plumbing projects. He lends credibility to the company name.

To be honest, I was feeling skeptical at first. I had my disposal switched out on a Saturday and then discovered Sunday night at 7:00 it was leaking. I called Reliance immediately and a guy by the name of Lyndon came to my house within 30 minutes and fixed what the other guy made a small mistake on. Things happen you know. Lyndon is the man though and hopefully you will get him. He went above and beyond and made extra sure it was fixed and then noticed I had a drain issue. He snaked the drain and then noticed I had a hairline crack in a pipe behind an adjoining cabinet. He came out the next morning to fix the pipe that had a hairline crack in it also. Most plumbers wouldn't have said anything and take your money and leave. This guy did such a great job and is a perfectionist. He is very intelligent, has high integrity, and knows his stuff. Very great customer service from the company and it's been a long time since I've had a good customer experience like this.
