Fixed an extremely old system that we assumed would need replacing to buy us a little more time before we replace the whole system. As always Pete was honest and told us all our options for moving forward. We will never use anyone else.

The air conditioner suddenly stopped working. I looked on Angie's List for a reliable repair service and selected Pucci's Air and Home Services based on numerous high ratings. I called Pucci's on a holiday (Labor Day) and was amazed that I was able to set up an appointment for the technician to look at the a/c unit the following morning. While on the phone with the owner, he said he had a good idea of what was wrong with the outside condenser. If it was what he suspected he said it would cost about $350 to repair. The technician made the repairs the following morning. A few burned out and arcing parts were replaced and the unit was up and running again. Also, I was very pleased when I was informed after the repairs were completed that the cost was a total of $280 instead of $350. The day after the repairs were done, I was contacted again by both the technician and later the owner to confirm that I was happy with their service. I told them I was very pleased and would definitely use them again for any future repair service. They both were very personable and did not pressure me into trying to get something done that wasn't needed. In summary, Pucci's Air and Home Services seems to be a straightforward and honest company that deserves all the "A" ratings that they have on Angie's List.

Just had a service call today for my AC unit. The unit is 13 years old and I know it will need replacing soon. I called three different AC companies this morning, and one company said it would be two days (Monday), and one still hasn't called me back! , Pucci's Air actually answered my call, and told me he could be there in about an hour...and that's on a Saturday. He showed up on time, as promised, and had the part in the work truck. He fixed the issue in no time and it was only $150 total. We just moved from New York a few months ago and it has been one thing after another in our new house, so that is the reason I joined Angie's List. I am hoping this saves me a lot of headaches and money down the road...and so far, so good. I highly recommend Pucci?s air because they came out the same day my AC stopped working and because he didn?t try to upsell me or my husband. They were very polite and friendly and, as far as I can tell, also honest. I don't normally write revews, although i do appreciate reading them. What impressed me the most about Pucci Air is that the owner called me tonight to make sure I was happy! and that is why I?m writing this review. Highly recommended. g and about to catch fire. They changed that out too. Great guys. Once the dust is settled, we will have them out to clean out the ducts and we should be good as new. We were told during inspection that 2 of the units were old and would not last long. It looks like Pucci saved us for now from having to replace and saved our move!

We signed up for Angie?s List last Saturday not knowing that less than 24 hours later our air conditioner would breakdown. First thing Monday morning I called Pucci?s Air & Home Services. We could not be more pleased with our entire experience. Pete Pucci and his technician Cy were professional, pleasant and extremely competent. We would not hesitate to call Pucci?s Air & Home Services again, and wholeheartedly recommend them

The contractor was fantastic. I called at around 11 am. They showed up an hour later. They had the part in the van and replaced it in less than an hour. I asked about things like getting a new A/C unit and he didn't try and talk me up to a new sale. He was very knowledgeable and honest. I'd recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

Called them at 3:15 pm and call was answered immediately. Told them that my condensing unit was not working and that it was an old 10 SEER unit. They showed up at 5:15 pm and quickly diagnosed that the fan motor was bad. They had the exact replacement motor in their van and they quickly installed it. They waited around and tested the unit to make sure it was working correctly and then checked my Air Handling Unit while they waited. Found a potential fire hazard and corrected it at no cost. It is now 6:15 pm and I have a functioning HVAC system again. The techs were top notch, friendly, and very professional. I have been in the engineering and construction business for 34 years and was extremely impressed with their service, their fair price, and their honesty in telling me the truth without trying to up sell me items that I do not need. I asked them to get me a price to replace my whole system. My only complaint is that I cannot give them anything higher than an A. I think that they deserve an A+++.

I called them Monday am to schedule service. The told me they would be here late Monday afternoon or Tuesday, but were able to arrive Monday afternoon. They immediately checked the fan on the compressor, which had been replaced by another local air conditioning service company. They quickly fixed the wiring on the fan to enable it to draw air away from the compressor unit, as it is supposed to. Then then continued to perform their normal service check, including the freon level. They noticed the pressure was leaking and quickly identified the location of the leaks, around the fitting nozzles. They applied a white sealant around the fittings then continued to add 6 pounds of Freon. The system capacity is almost 16 pounds. They also added a can of stop leak product, since the unit is 16 years old and no doubt contains other small leaks. They had me run the compressor for 4-5 hours to allow the stop leak to properly circulate throughout the system. The entire process, from the initial contact through the job completion was handled very professionally and promptly by not only the owner, Pete, but also his son and the other technician named Sy (not sure of the spelling). All of them were very professional and took the time to explain and show me everything they were doing. I highly recommend Pete and his company for any air conditioning service or replacement needs.

My experience with them has been great. They are always good and always show up on time. They just do good work. They do honest work.

Gave options I requested. When he went to pick up the unit it was damaged. Would not accept damaged goods, negotiated for a better unit at no cost to me.

Pete has been my only a/c guy for some time. He is very fair and honest about how he runs his business. Very happy with all services.

He went there a couple of times to check my coolant. He was very professional and explained everything to my tenants. The price was very reasonable as well.

Our AC wasn't cooling properly (and had frozen several times in 2 days), so I called. The guys arrived at the house later in the day (after calling to let me know they were on their way). They presented a business card prior to entering the house. After verifying the problem, one of the guys added a leak sealer to the system and additional freon (?) since our was ridiculously low (hence the lack of cooling). They were amazing! He even helped me clean out the shop vac that we had used to clear the line earlier in the day. Prior to leaving they made sure the unit was cooling properly and showed me how to check various areas around the unit (both inside and out) to verify that everything is working properly. They were friendly, profession, clean, and completely awesome (even patiently explaining everything to me and ooohhing over my son's ongoing presentation of his Thomas the Train toys). I will DEFINITELY be using them in the future.

I called Pucci's after finding them on Angie's List. They made an appointment to come out the next morning between 8-10. They arrived at 8:45 and knew right away what the issue was. I have a leak in the A/C coil, however, instead of trying to sell me a new system, he recommended his StopLeak product with the freon required (I was low 3.5 pounds). He took the time to find the leak in the coil at no cost to me after the last company - Energy Air - charged me several hundred dollars to check the coil for the leak which they never found. He also cleaned out the drainage line and showed me how to clean it myself in case there are future issues. He promised that if the StopLeak doesn't fix the issue, he would credit half of this invoice towards the cost of the coil repair. All in all, they were timely, knowledgeable, and beyond fair on the pricing and work done. I would recommend this company to all my friends.

Pete repaired an airconditioner on short notice on a hot Saturday afternoon. He managed to keep an old compressor running, didn't even need to add any freon. He charged just for what he needed to do. I will definitely be using Pucci's again!

Outstanding. Pucci completed a job others would not touch,or gave outrageous bids to complete. Two other companies said the job could not even be done. Pete not only got the job done, but at a reasonable cost.

I am very pleased with Peter Pucci's service. Our air conditioner problem manifested itself on a late Sunday afternoon.and my call to Pucci was answered in person without the need to wait for a call back. He arrived on time on Monday morning and set about to efficiently evaluate the problem. After he replaced the capacitor he called me out to inspect the new part and view the test of the freon pressure. I was pleased that he showed me the parts he replaced before replacing the cover panel. Peter Pucci is a pleseant person and he instills confidence. Also, he called back the following day to make sure the conditioner was still functioning properly. That was unexpected and thoughtful.

Service was exceptional, i called the provider on 5/23 appt 5.30pm he promised that he will be there 10.00am the following day. Mr Pucci was at my reside 20 mins before his appointed, he was very professional, explains everything in details, he was very honest about my a/c system, price was very reasonable.

I called Pete after having another big-name HVAC repair company completely failed to diagnose or service my unit - but charged me $148 for a 20 minute "service" call. That company simply decided that my unit was "too old." Pete laughed at that idea and said that he and his team would figure out what was wrong and would be able to repair it. Pete got two guys out to my house on a holiday weekend and thoroughly went over the system. They determined that it was generally in great shape, but likely that the unit was shutting off intermittently due to the level of dirt on the outside filter, which they cleaned. Although two techs spent over an hour on a Saturday, Pete charged me only $100, because he felt badly for me that I was bilked by the other company. There is nothing like a well run family business where the owner cares about his customers and reputation. I will ONLY call Pete in the future! Thank you Pucci's!

I called Pete at noon because my A/C was not cooling the house at all. Very nice and courteous, even though he had another appointments he was able to fit me me at the end of the day, at 7 p.m. he called me to let me know that he was 30 min away, came in checked the furnace which was good, then went to look out side and verified that it was low on Freon, since we had it refilled a year ago, he suggested a stop leak which should work for small hole in the tubing. He explained how everything works and did not mind me watching him work even explaining step by step what he was doing. Different from other tech He did not try to push a new but waned me that Trane are very good abut they tend to have a 20 to 25 years life spam and seeing that my ac was about 20 years old would be good to start saving up for a new unit. Next day he called me to check if the ac was working fine, and if everything was OK. Best costumer service I have ever seen of any Techs that have visited my house.

I had been having problems with my heat/AC for a few weeks, but due to my hectic work schedule I procrastinated calling someone. I saw them on Angie's List and decided to call. They were extremely professional and friendly on the phone and were able to accommodate my schedule. They called the day before to remind me of my appointment and also when they were on their way, which was very helpful. The man was very nice upon arrival, and explained everything to me throughout the process of fixing the unit, which was very educational for someone who doesn't know much about AC! Thankfully, it just needed a new contactor, which he had with him. The problem with fixed within 45 minutes. They were also extremely honest- I paid cash and tipped a little extra and they called me that night to let me know I overpaid them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for great customer service and also cost-effective services. I will definitely call them in the future if I have any problems with my AC/heat!

Pete, who is the owner of Pucci's Air & Home Services was able to come out when noone else could. Two of the three companies I have worked with in the past couldn't come out for 5+ days in order to look at what the problem was. A lot of unit had problems the same week we did, even with the warranty contract we had we were still looking a at long lag time. After looking on Angie's List, and calling, Pete was able to come out later that day. He was very nice, went through the system and to our dismay this system is a gone. The compressor coil is leaking and we have a 13 year old Carrier R-22 system. There is no logical choice but to replace it. Unfortunately we wanted to upgrade to a Trane and they don't seem to make a unit that will work any longer. Pucci's was great, just disappointed that we may have to install a Bryant system, which is supposed to be the same company as Carrrier. Carrier Heat Pump ratings with Consumer Reports though are about the same as Trane. I would definitely use Pucci's in the future.

I had a strange smell coming out of my vents when the a/c was running - not mold, or anything putrid like an animal - just a bad smell. The representative from Pucci's couldn't find anything, but offered to clean the system (flush coils, blow out the lines, power mist vents, etc. He was unsure if this would solve the problem and left it up to me. I felt there wasn't much choice since I had do something. I'm glad we did - it was money well spent. There must have been something small but pungent somewhere in the lines that was causing the problem, because after only a couple steps were completed, the smell was gone. While he was here he took the time to show me many things that I could do on my own to keep the system running soundly, and some items to help detect the source of problems that may occur. I have used other companies in the past, but I am most impressed by Pucci's. The owner even called later that afternoon to make sure everything was okay. I have found the company I will use for all future service.

I was referred to Pete Pucci from someone in the home repair and renovation business. Over a period of a few years, we upgraded the internal and external units as my budget allowed. I have referred many friends and neighbors to this company and they all call to thank me.
