It went very well with proper clean up after job was completed.

After researching Angie's List I called H and W Windows in part because they were in the area and accepted credit cards. We are selling my parents home and I told them I would like to get the window repaired before the inspection. Even though they were booked solid they offered to work overtime (no additional cost) to get the job done for us. I opted to wait, though I appreciated their willingness to go the extra step. Ian called me the day of the appointment to let me know he was on the way. He arrived about 10 minutes later than the appointment time, but it had been raining most of the morning so I consider 10 minutes very acceptable. He came in since it was still raining and looked at the window from the inside. He told me it was a small job and that if I needed to leave I could since he would be working from the outside. He was going to wait for the rain to slack off and didn't want to hold me up. I did have another appointment and because of the good ratings on Angie's List I decided to go ahead and pay him (he called the office with my credit card information). I wouldn't normally pay for a job until it is complete and I had a chance to inspect it. When I went back later the job was completed and looked fine. I was impressed with Ian and his professionalism. I would definitely use H and W Windows again and would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Bill arrived promptly, calling before arrival. He was polite and very professional. He had the needed parts on his truck, and he did the repair. The window works fine now. I'm happy!

Hand W came over and gave a estimate. They arrived on time for the estimate an had it in writing quickly. Today, they performed the work. They were fast, careful about my pets, and didn't leave a mess. The work is great. All my porch windows work perfectly now.

I called for someone to come out and they were there when promised. He was very professional and took measurements. We discussed the fact that this was a rental property and he suggested appropriate windows and a very good price. The windows arrived when promised. The owner father and son installed the windows and they did such a great job that I could not see any damage and I was extremely happy with the windows and the installation. This is a family run and worked business which I prefer to use. They do an excellent job. This is the third generation of the family running and installing. These are good people, doing a great job. I think you would be cheating yourself if you do not have them give you a bid on the job; and use them.

Hand W is routinely great. I've used the company for years, and I've been pleasantly surprised to deal with the same people over that period of time. They know my house and what they have done in the past. Today, they fixed my bay windows so I didn't have to spend gobs of money to replace it. They are always forthright about how economically they can fix something as opposed to repairing them, and I am happy to rely on their judgment. It's a fabulous company!

They are a fabulous, family owned company. They are professional and punctual. They are polite and I'm going to use them again.

48 Hours later and no one has called or emailed me regarding my issue. Very disappointing considering he's on Angie's List.

I would never let these people go. They are very honest. I thought I had forgot to pay for a job so when I went to go pay for the job they said you already paid. That is how honest the people are. They are family business. They are wonderful people.

Everything went great with my repair experience from H and W Windows. They get an A+ rating from me!

We always windows being broken or cracked that we need repaired because we are property managing company. I found this company online. They had good reputation. I gave them a call and they responded very fast for all my calls and all my needs. They have done a great job so far. I have used them in about 12 jobs.

They are professional and did the job. I have used them for about six months now but I have had great experiences with them. I give them the highest ratings across the board.

We needed a window replaced asap because we were getting the house ready to sell. Called in the morning and the dispatcher said someone could come that afternoon. A few minutes later the dispatcher called back and said someone was in the area and could be there within the hour. The employee showed up as promised, replaced the window and was done in probably 20 minutes. The only comment I would have for the company is to let people know when they schedule that they don't take credit cards (I had to run out to get cash).

When I noticed a window tilting to one side, I called Hand W because they did great work for us in the past. The person on the phone was professional, courteous, and efficient. Bill came to the house right on schedule and fixed the window. He was also professional, courteous, and efficient. He even remembered which windows he fixed for us a year ago. Because he worked on this particular window before, he did not charge us the service call fee, only parts and labor.

Contacted company to schedule repairs. Scheduled for the following day. Technician arrived on time and completed all work within an hour. Technician was very knowledgeable and answered questions related to possible upgrading all windows in home. I will use this company again and recommend them to others.

During the initial call to schedule the repair, the person on the line (sorry I didn't get his name) was very helpful and courteous. He gave me a breakdown of the charges to be expected, i.e., the service call charge ($65), probable parts costs, and probable labor costs for the job I described. The appointment was scheduled within the week. Bill arrived promptly for the appointment. He was courteous and explained what he was doing. The brand of window was somehow problematic regarding availability of parts. Bill fashioned one part out of smaller parts in the truck, but didn't have enough to make 2 more. Those would have to be ordered. Bill anticipated that he would return in a week with the necessary parts. He explained that the one service call charge would cover the return visit and that I would pay for everything when the job was completed. Getting the parts took much longer than they anticipated ( 8 weeks between visits). Maybe a half dozen phone calls were made back and forth between me and Hand W during that time period. Amy was my contact throughout. She was helpful and courteous as well. Bill eventually returned to complete the job. He was once again prompt, courteous, and efficient. And the invoice exactly reflected what I was told in the initial phone call.

He did what he said he was going to do and gave me an estimate on the phone which ended up being cheaper.

Repaired broken panes in windows. Had to return to fix mechanical difficulties with the windows because they didn't fix them the first time. But they were very apologetic about the oversight and didn't charge another service call fee, so I wanted to use them again. The next project was a complete nightmare, with the owner of the company coming out to work and then walking off the job. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN !

Both jobs went very well and a high quality install. Bill the owner did all the measuring, and he and his son did the install. Each job was several weeks from order to install, but once they started, they worked till it was done. The bigger was two long days, and one long day for the small job. One window did come in with incorrect grid, it was brought to my attention before I saw it, and they ordered / installed replacement sashes without incident. They even went to the hardware store and had a quart of paint matched to a chipped off flake to leave the job looking right. This is a great company, you can be confident they will do what they say to a higher standard.

It went great working with them. I have used them in the past to put in windows to a home we had built. I like that they have been in business for years and it is a family business. The owner was the one who came out to do the work. He was very helpful and had a great personality.

It was very good. I was able to email them pictures of the lock so that they could make sure they had the right one. The person I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. The worker that came out was also a very nice guy. They were very quick getting here. He did the job quickly. The overall experience was very pleasant.
