I called Fred from Angie's List to repair my in-laws' grandfather clock. He came out, took out the mechanisms needing refurbishing and returned to replace the mechanisms in less than the two weeks he estimated the job would take. The clock runs like new and my in-laws are thrilled! The job was expertly done and the $175 cost was more than reasonable.

We called and he came same day from another client in Daytona. Arrived on time, expert advice, honest service. Next time the clock we treasure needs expert hands, he's the only call. Thanks, Fred.

I called Fred Kraus on Wed, and he came out on Thurs exactly at the time agreed upon. He was very clean and orderly. He put paper down on the rug before putting his tool box down, and got right to work dismanteling the clock. Found out the problem and fixed it in about 30 minutes,and agreed to make a yearly call at my request. Fred left no reminants of having been here except a clock in good working order. I would recommend him to anyone. He charged just $65. I feel this was very reasonablre.

We contacted Freds clock repair to inquire about having our Grandfather clock cleaned and tuned. Fred gave us an estimate on the work requested and we found the price to be well within our price range. We set up a time for him to come to the house and look at the clock and to give us a firm price. He arrived at the scheduled time and checked the clock. We had him do the work which included cleaning the works,lubrication of parts and adjusting the clock. The work was all done on site and in just a short time the clock was working like new. The price was ritght and the work was well done. We will use Freds Clock repair in the future and will recommend him to our friends .

My father's grandfather clock had not been working for over a year. Since I live in Connecticut it is difficult to take care of these type of repairs long-distance. That's why I joined Angie's List in Orlando. Now I have a source to go to when I need to take care of problems that come up for my dad who refuses to live in the cold, cold North. Fred from Fred's Clock Repair was terrific with my dad. He took his time and explained the repair process, the timing and the cost. When I called him back and approved the cost he went back to my father's house and carefully wrapped up the clock works and took them away. Two weeks later he came back and installed everything back in order and made sure that the clock was working perfectly before leaving the house. Needless to say my father was very impressed, as was I. Fred assured my father that everything was fine but if anything we to happen he was not to hesitate to call him. Fred also called me in Connecticut when the work was completed.
