Fireplace & Gas Services has been acquired by Blossman Gas, Inc. For over 60 years, Blossman Gas has been providing the comforts of gas to thousands of valued customers. We work with each individual, family and business to understand their needs and deliver the best solution at the best price. Blossman Gas is the largest family-owned propane business in America. We offer the competitive pricing and reliability of a large corporation but maintain the dedicated customer service and family values of a small company. Fireplace & Gas is still doing business as usual, however is now a Turn-Key company that can also sell or lease you an LP tank or help you switch from your current propane company over to Blossman Gas. We know we will be able to beat any LP Gas company's price on propane!

Description of Work: only one of many spoken with that was knowledgeable. Was getting back to me with price,and options. Not able to repair fireplace at this time,not till October. There are Chimney Swifts living there,have been for 30 years each summer,they are endangered,and we enjoy | |ed hearing raise their families each spring. They are beneficial,they eat their weight in mosquitos each day. I wish there were more people In this trade. Just for comparison.

Description of Work: We purchased a ventless fireplace unit from them on the 26th of November. Since that time they delivered the unit but with parts missing. It is next to impossible to talk to anyone there and get information, and at times they are just rude. Talking to the owner doesn't help. |My contractor was promised the missing items, and the complete installation for today 1/7/2015. But now we are told to expect them next week while at least two trades sit on their hands, unable to finish my rehab project because we can't proceed without the parts and installation.

We took some time to respond to this review since the work was still being done at this customer's home when the review was submitted to Angie's List. The truth of the matter is that things can happen during the course of an installation that cannot be prevented. In this instance, the manufacturer had sent us the wrong part which was out of our control. Unfortunately, because it was the busiest time of year for ordering and servicing fireplaces, parts had already been on back order. We understood the customer's frustration and expressed that to the team of people he had working with him on this project. In fact, they kept in close contact with us on a daily basis for an update on the arrival of the burner they were waiting on. I'm not sure how many times the homeowner tried to contact us, but we can assure you, the design company working for him were able to speak with someone every time they called, which again, was daily. They may not have heard what they wanted to hear, but they did get someone on the phone that was sympathetic and had a strong sense of follow through. This project has now been completed.

Description of Work: I could not get my gas firepalce to ignite. The man worked with the existing remote and igniter.. He did a great job. I had another person try to fix it and gave me an estimate of $400 to fix and replace some parts. That was obviously not necessary

This time of year, it is challenging to be able to keep up with the demand of all of the estimates that need to be done. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free estimates to customers who are well over an hour away from our downtown Orlando location. We would love to be able to have the business of everyone in need of a new fireplace, but it is virtually impossible. I sincerely apologize for the person that took your information over the phone for not telling you up front that we would not be able to assist you.
