Description of Work: I used multiple Ferran Services in the last year. Electrical, plumbing, and sealing my air ducts. Very pleased with all their services, and they even cleaned up after their services. It was done right the first time.

Description of Work: Said i needed new toilet had it replaced by Lowes for half the cost. Saved 100.00 on installation. Lowes removed the old toilet and guaranteed the toilet for a year. Tjey also delivered the toilet which I would have had to pickupwith Ferran or pay extra. Ferran was punctual and professional did not charge me for the visit

Description of Work: This was very disappointing. I reviewed many companies for plumbing re-piping on Angie's list and recognized Ferran as a big company, so expected very professional treatment. However, when I called, the woman who answered the phone told me their estimator was in the hospital and they didn't have anyone else to come out to provide a quote. I said, "You're a big company! You only have one person who can do estimates?" She told me I could call back tomorrow morning to see if Bill is in and what his schedule is and maybe he would be willing to do it. I asked her if she could please take care of that for me, rather than my having to call back again to see if Bill is in and is willing. She informed me that the estimates are arranged directly between the customer and the estimator, so it would be better for me to talk directly to him. Trying to make this process easier for myself, since I am trying to get quotes from a number of providers, I asked her if she would please take my name and number and give it to him and ask him to call me. She sighed and hesitated but then agreed to take my name and number. At that point, I decided this was just too much trouble and if it was this hard to just get a call back, perhaps I should look elsewhere. I told her I felt this was a very poor business practice, that I did not appreciate how I was being handled, and that I would go elsewhere.

Description of Work: They have worked for me for years, but over time I had have other vendors come back to correct their work. They bill fine but have very little oversight on their people. I have had to fight with them because on call backs to correct issues they would send me another bill. More so I would always get additional opinions and they would contradict. Prices always was higher than other vendors.

Description of Work: A leak in master bedroom. Water was dripping through wall between bedroom and shower in bathroom. Bedroom carpet was getting wet. I phoned Ferran's mid-afternoon and a plumber was here before dinner time. He first checked the opening in the wall where the pipe came thru to the shower head. That is where the leak was and he finished repairing in less than 30 minutes. When I first phoned for service I thought-----In the wall? They are going to have to break though the wall to fix the problem and going to be very expensive. The plumber could have told me anything and I would have believed him. The Company could have made a lot of money on this repair, but they are honest and over the years I have come to trust them for A/C work or plumbing repairs. I would highly recommend them for any work, in any area at all.

Description of Work: After some 20 years of having our A/C repaired, installed and checked out annually. We lost our guy. We chose Ferran because they had performed professionally on our air ducts. The teck was on time actually earlier then programmed, worked professionally and explained and showed us all he did in servicing our A/C and heating system.They gwet our highest recommendations.

Description of Work: Had a problem with our air conditioner not cooling. The maintenance gentleman came on time. He flushed the system. Checked to see if there was any other problems with the air conditioner. He was in and out in a professional manor. All the service problems went away when he completed his job. We'd use Ferran Services again.

Description of Work: I called Ferran's because of an immediate problem (have fiberglass coming out of my ducts, was interested in having new ducts put in with floor registers instead of ceiling (double-wide manufactured home) on October 9th. in the morning. Spoke the receptionist, Veronica who said Yuinier (spelling?) was the person to talk to. She linked me to his voice mail. Left a pretty indepth message and today is Friday, 10/12/2012 and I have yet to receive a call back. I joined Angie's List for this specific problem having now been out of my home for 6 weeks due to this problem. I selected Ferran's and one other, Certified AC Service (exact same thing, no reply to my request for help) because of their Angie's rating. What's up with this??? Nonprofessionalism not to return a call. Will not use their services even if they did now get in touch. Saw other's who also had this problem, but felt it might have been just miscommunications. Mine was not that I didn't leave messages - just complete nonresponsiveness.

Description of Work: THERE WERE LEAK(S) IN OUR SPRINKLER SYSTEMS AND WATER WAS "POOLING" AROUND PLANTS IN MULCHED AREAS. BRENT LOCATED THE HOLES IN PVC PIPE THAT HAD BEEN CAUSED BY ROOTS FROM LARGE SEGA PALMS.HE REPLACED LEAKING PIPES. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE.WE HAVE BEEN USING FERRANS' SERVICES SINCE 1993 AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN WELL SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. FOR PLUMBING AND A/C.

Description of Work: I scheduled this company for A /C tune up.The tech arrived 15 minutes late with no coutesy call. He was friendly and knowledgable, however the charge for the service was 10.00 more than what I was quoted over the phone. He then tried to hard sell me on a one year maint program that just did not sound like a good deal. The plan was for a year and would entitle me to 15% off all future services which I did not find a compelling offer. I don't think I will use this company again as I find them misleading.
