Description of Work: Gave us a quote to fix dishwasher. Came in late, flooded the bottom part of my dishwasher. Left it all dismantled, said I was going to hear back from them with a quote. Never called us back again. I had to pay $69 dollars for that.

Description of Work: My refrigerator was leaking water that went down under the crisper. Mark figured the problem out right away and blew out the line which had some debris in it. Took him about 10 or 15 minutes. A lot of my friends in Conway area and in my church use his service and are very happy with it.

Description of Work: My wall oven stopped working. It would not turn on. The tech came out and said it was the computer part and that parts would have to be ordered. On Monday they called and said that the part wasn't made any longer and we would have to buy a new oven. They recommended Southeast Steel as the best place to go for that type of oven. No work was actually performed by them but I would use them again if another appliance broke because they were one of the only companies who returned the call.

Description of Work: Dryer stopped running. I've had it about 15 years so I knew it wasn't going to be too simple a task. Still I didn't want to purchase a new one. Called one day, next morning they were there. Broken belt was diagnosis and the project was fixed within 40 minutes. I really couldn't ask for more. That dryer is still working today and not a bit of trouble. One of the easiest repair transactions I've ever had!

Description of Work: replaced the computer on my in-frog ice maker - it was not dispensing ice. Came out right on time, was very professional, explained to me what the issues might be and tested for them. Had the part available in the truck and was finished in less than a half hour. Came the next day after I called also. Was very clean and tidy too. I will defiantly recommend and call in the future.

+ -1 moreOur Whirlpool Duet Gas Dryer was overheating, stopping, and giving a code E1. I called Conway and spoke with Heidi, who was very helpful by trying to help me solve the problem on my own. When what she suggested I try didn't solve the problem, she scheduled an appointment and gave me a quote for the suspect part and labor. The technicians arrived on-time, checked the output temperature (which was much too high) and replaced the termistor. They rechecked the temperature and listened for the proper operation of the gas valve. Both technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and polite. I would highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: The technicians replaced a part called, I believe, a thermistor. It is a small part which controls the gas dryer temperature.

+ -1 moreThis was an excellent experience. Conway was able to come to my home the afternoon I called. I was charged a $65.00 service fee (only one) to look at both the washer and dryer. Mark, the service person, told me that dryer was fine; it just needed a new lint basket which he told me how to order on line. As for the washer, there was not a second service fee to come back to the house after the necessary parts were ordered. Conway called to schedule the next appointment when the parts arrived, arrived on time, completed the work efficiently, and charged the quoted price. What a great business!!

+ -1 moreConway Appliance is the best. I don't remember how I found them, but I have used them for my recently discarded 15-year old washer and dryer periodically. They are fair, quick, professional, competent and honest. In a new house with new appliances, I used others recommended by various manufacturers and recently decided I wasn't going to do that anymore. I will never use anyone but Conway anymore, unless they can't do the work. I HIGHLY recommend them.
Description of Work: Checked and repaired the icemaker of my SubZero freezer. Determined that I needed a new unit. Recommended and installed a rebuilt part, which cost half what a new part would cost. They guaranteed the part. It works great. Better than ever, in fact.
