They came out to my home and told me that I couldn't purchase the deal. They wouldn't honor the deal because they said that it wasn't enough to make it worth it for them. They charged me a $25.00 fee to come out.

Did not utilize the service. At the time I wanted to use the service I was working 12 hour days and had a difficult time getting a day off. The vendor did not have hours on Saturdays or Sundays. I could not make an appointment two weeks in advance, which I needed to do in order to get time off of work during the week. The vendor said I could call a day or two in advance, but that did not work for my schedule. The vendor also said they could call when they were in my area and I could meet with them, but again, that was not workable for my employer.

The service provider, Hassan, was very professional. He was prompt in arriving at his appointments. The shades arrived within the time frame that he had given to me. He measured the windows on the first visit, listening to what I wanted. On the 2nd visit, he hung the shades. He cleaned up everything after he finished. The shades do a great job of keeping out all light at night- which is exactly what I wanted!

Overall it went great. I responded to an Angie's list posting and before I knew it I had someone out here measuring and giving estimates. He always called when he was close to Hunter's Creek so I could leave work and meet him at the house instead of having to come home from work and wait on them to arrive. Very friendly, prompt and courteous. Little pricey but you get what you pay off. In time, I am going to have my whole house redone.

Great help was provided in selecting the right blinds for these family room and dining area windows. Upon installation it was discovered that one set of blinds was not the right size and one of the vertical blinds slats was missing. A rush order was put in and the installation was completed in less than a week.

The project went well. Hassan's price is competitive and product is good.

I liked the selections that were offered. Their pricing was not clear and nor were their discounts. I had pre purchased a certificate through Angie’s list which they used but he didn’t use the Angie’s list discount. I as an Angie’s list person expected both the discounts. That was another way of buying down the final cost. They wouldn’t apply the 5% Angie’s list discount plus the $200 credit which I purchased for $49. He did the $200 credit but did not apply the 5% discount. They did the installation well. They were professional. The qualities of the materials were very good. I would use them in the future because I believe that their credibility was strong.

We purchased the Angie's list "big deal" of $50 for $200 worth of window treatments. We called and scheduled the estimate. The gentleman was very responsive and came on a Saturday to give us a quote. We knew what we wanted to purchase and it took only about 20 minutes to settle everything. Then the gentleman made the comment of "I wouldn't have come if I knew you weren't going to do the whole house". At this point we had already purchased the coupon and wanted the verticle blinds or we wouldn't have dealt with him any longer. We paid him the deposit and he said it would be about 10 days until they were in and he would call to schedule the installation. 10 days came and went and no phone call. 17 days later on a Tuesday morning, my husband received a phone call asking if they could come and install that morning. We had to say no because my husband and I both work and could not just drop everything to go home that morning. My husband asked if we could schedule it for Friday and one of us would take the day off to meet him. He said he would check his schedule and call us back. Thursday morning the guy called my husband again asking if he could come that day. My husband said no, we wanted it on Friday and we were both already at work. I took the day off Friday from work to be available for the install and got a call around 9:30. I told him I had to go to work for a few hours but would available at 2pm. He said fine and showed up at 2:30. The install of the blinds went just fine and we like them. However, I would never allow this guy in my house again for any reason. He removed the old set of blinds and left hardware laying around on my bedstand and my TV stand and then he left both sets of old blinds and rails laying in my living room stating he didn't have room in his truck to take them away. HOW did he have room to bring my new set of blinds but not room to take the old ones away? It was one for one! I only gave him a D because I like the product. I just wish I had bought them from someone else.

Came home the same day we called to do an estimate for the job. Very polite and courteous; gave a very favorable first impression. Promised delivery in 7 to 10 working days. Mr. Hasaan actually delivered in 8 days. Very good quality material, completed the removal of all blinds and installation of new ones in about an hour which we feel was amazing; the fitting was perfect. Cleaned up after completion. We are extremely pleased with the results and already asked him to do an additional job for us.

Hassan did a beautiful job. He came to our home and did the estimate promptly and in two weeks we had all new blinds. He did both the estimate and the installation. He did a very careful job of installing the blinds and left our home in perfect condition and with all new, beatufiul blinds. The quality of the blinds exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier. Hassan was extremely efficient, professional, and friendly. The price was very reasonable as well. We enjoyed the experience and are enjoying the results every day.

I was disappointed in them as the delivery was not on time and I had concerns about the product after it was installed and they still have not gotten back with me and it has been a year.

The best experience since moving to FL 3 years ago.. Hassan came out the day we called. He measured the windows we wanted done and advised us that we could add to the work as budget permitted. He was responsive to all our questions and told us the shutters would be ready for installation in app 2 weeks. Right on time, he called and set up an appointment for installation. The shutters look great and we are about to place another order for vertical blinds to cover a door to the lanai. Frankly, Hassan is a gentleman and a professional. We enjoyed talking to him and look forward to his return.

I called him and he told me he was with a client, which I understood. He just said that he was with a client and would call me back. I asked if he had my number and he said he had but he never called me back. He answered the phone and he was pleasant, but that really did not catch up. In terms of punctuality, he did not even call me. I would not use his services again in the future.

I saw the offer on Angie's List for services, so that actually prompted me to call sooner than I was planning. I called Hassan. He was very nice, professional, and prompt at returning my calls. He came out and measured the next day. They custom made the shutters and had them ready in two weeks. He came to install them and was very quick and efficient. The shutters look great. This was a kind of test run for us. We are trying to see if we like the shutters for the rest of our house. We will definitely be calling him back out when we are ready to finish the house. His prices were extremely reasonable and was very accomodating even though it was not a big job...Very happy with the work and I will definitely use him again.

Was looking to upgrade 3 story Townhouse with Plantation Shutters. Read about American Blinds on Angie's List and called Hassan. He came out next day, measured all windows and doors, explained options and gave estimate within an hour. Cost was very reasonable and better than others we had received. Hassan was super nice and we gave him the 50% deposit. Said it would take about 2-3 weeks. Heard back in 2 weeks that they were ready for installation. Very fast, efficient during installation...two of the shutters had defects, so Hassan did not ask for balance but said he would get them replaced. Came back within a week and completed job quickly. Very satisfied with product and installation. Hassan was a pleasure to work with. Already had friends use him and they were equally pleased. Recommend to anyone wanting high quality Plantation Shutters at reasonable cost.

Mr. Hassan arrived on time and brought samples with him. He was very knowledgable with his product. I was unaware how very heavy the blinds were as he did not have a sample product but had a book of sample materials. He appeared to be easy to deal with and was honest in his answers to my questions.

My daughter Tracy Murphy (San Antonio Texas), Told me how fantastic Angies list is! So I joined. I decided when I got your service I would get the blinds. So I looked for the company who had the most A ratings and there was American Blinds at the top. I called them and Hassan came to my house the next day. He was very helpful. He gave me a good price and he ordered the set of verticals for the sliding glass doors in my family room and two sets of blinds for one of my bedrooms. He put the order in Thursday night July 21, and he installed them today, July 29! Great and speedy service! He was here about 45 minutes. Good steady worker and wasted no time. I would definately have him come again when I decide to do more window treatments!!
