It was easy. Josh made the installation seamless. He was on time and the job was done quickly and efficiently. A very pleasant experience. The price was very competitive. The shutters were beautiful and of good quality. I would hire again.

We were referred to this company by our neighbor but also checked them out on Angie's list, we agreee that they were he most cost effective competiative around. We have our own biz on Angie's list and know how important the reviews are in terms of honesty and couldn't fault the reviews we read of them. From stat to finish amazing the time frame was eacatly as Hassan had said it would be and the qauility and finish exactly as he stated. Josh was amazing also totally professional beyond and above. We are now in the process of completing the rest of the house so far two large doors and two large windows. Waiting for 6 more large windows with arches i just wish i had more windows for them to do!

Hassen came to measure the day I called for an estimate- he was very friendly + professional. Josh came to do the install- he was fantastic! A very nice & very competant young man. Great company to deal with! Recommend 100%

Hassan came to our home measured. He was professional and courteous. We ordered the blind, pleased with the cost and impressed with Hassan. They came within two week and were installed, free of charge, by Joshua, D delightful young man who was respectful of our home.

Measurement went quick about an hour. 8 weeks later installer completed the install on time approve three hours start to finish. Beautiful!

From the time I called, Assan was professional & knowledgeable. He was punctual & courteous. And as promised in 3 weeks, Josh, the installer was on the phone to keep me updated about his arrival. He was also professional & courteous. I would absolutely hire this company again. Shutters are beautiful!

Measures was owner-perfect fit-very fast. Install by Josh went really smoothly. Josh great & very friendly!! They renew exactly what they were doing.

He called a few minutes prior to what was scheduled and asked to reschedule, started that he was behind. Told him hat wouldn't work for me and said he would try to work it out. He worked it out and was able to show up, though he was late. Seemed very nice, got to work right away measure everything and gave me an all inclusive estimate. He said I could also split up he installation to make the cost easier at no extra charge! I had another company come out and noticed that on the estimate he made a mistake and said one of the Windows had a window seal when it didn't. His price was cheaper (about $500) so I decided based on his estimate to go with his company. I ordered to install half the blinds now the other half later and told him of the seal error. The installer came out and the guy was super nice. He had a hard time installing my blinds due to the concrete and ended up having to use my drill bits as his kept braking and not working. I decided a few months later to finish the job and install the rest of the Blinds. The original estimate was $1518 after Angie's list discount (my first install I paid $1068, so I believed I would owe $450 based on the estimate and Hassan's claim that it wouldn't change the estimate). I received communication from Hassan I would owe $658.05. The math just didn't add up. He told me that since I split it up he no longer would give me the discount or the free installation. (Which was not what he told me prior) I also noticed with the cost he gave me it also appeared that his estimate didn't include tax though he said it did. He offered to reduce E my portion to $608.05 which I still found ridiculous. Several members of my family are contractors and said that his pricing is deceiving because you always include tax etc. I will go elsewhere for the other blinds and do not appreciate his condescending text messages "for the second time I am repeating myself"...I will never recommend you to anyone. Sometimes cheaper isn't better, go elsewhere I am for the final 3 Windows I would rather pay more for honest work

Josh was phenomenal and did an outstanding job to fit the main window covering into place. The curved top required some special work and Josh nailed it! That was the final piece of our master bath remodel, which we did ourselves.

The installer that Hassan uses is excellent.

They were the most economical. The rep that did the work was very detail oriented, making sure everything was level. They did a good job.

Contacted this company for an in home estimate. They called a couple times to try and come out saying they would be in the area and come by if they had time. Then they finally said they would be by Saturday from 8am - 12pm. The company never called or showed up. I called twice and after the second call I was sent straight to voicemail. I still never received a call or apology, as if people don't have anything better to do on a Saturday then wait around for a company not to call or provide status. At least the cable company will give you the courtesy of calling and updating you. Unreliable and highly unprofessional. Don't waste your time calling these people.

My sister had referred us to American Blinds. They responded immediately, took our order without a deposit.

Everything went very well. They were a customer order, and as soon as they came in he had them installed. 4 year later, they're holding up and still look great!

First I read the review on Angie's List web site, then I called and set up an appointment. After deciding on the style and color, the salesman measured the windows. In about 3 - 4 weeks, he came and installed the shutters. Was a very easy process and the blinds look great.

Great service! Everything was on time--returned phone calls, installation. Shutters went up so quickly I couldn't believe it. Quality is excellent. I love my new shutters. I highly recommend American Blinds.

The provider would not come to The Villages for work unless I bought a lot more - so I did not use him.

They were completely unprofessional and rude to my wife, and the experience couldn't have gone worse. We actually had the deal refunded because we were so disappointed in them.

On June 13, 2014, we paid $393.26, Check # 1298 to American Blinds for a shade to fit an approximate 7? X 9? outdoor space. Hassan, owner of American Blinds, made several promises and guarantees that he did not fulfill and in addition to that, he was the most unprofessional service provider we have ever experienced. Hassan acted pompous, rude and was persistently sarcastic. We don?t know how he is still in business. First, he promised the shade would serve our specific desired purpose of blocking the wind from blowing in as he would install tracks on either side for the shade to follow through up and down. The shade that he installed after 3 attempts has a 2 inch gap between itself and the tracks and simply blows all over the place. Second, he promised the shade would be delivered and installed within 2 weeks. The shade was not delivered or installed until July 21, 2014, 5 weeks later, and it was installed by Hassan rather than professional installers which turned out to be an absolute debacle. Not only did Hassan not measure the space correctly, he also failed to install the side tracks that were to hold the shade in place. Additionally, Hassan had to take the shade back to the factory 2 times over the span of several days to get the shade re-cut to fit the space. Even now, the shade is too small for the space and does and remains 2 inches from the tracks on both sides. On his last attempt to install, he managed to cut his finger on something leaving blood all over our pool lanai without making any attempt to clean it up, he used no carpet underneath his ladder and left awful black scuff marks on our freshly painted lanai and he left small screws, plastic pieces and parts all over the lanai floor which my small dog could have swallowed and been injured. Each visit, Hassan left a mess from where he drilled into concrete. Dust everywhere with no attempt to sweep or clean his mess. This has been the most unprofessional experience I have ever witnessed. When Hassan finished his last install attempt, he realized the tracks were 2 inches from the shade on both sides and wanted to know if we wanted him to come back and try to install something else. We were so afraid to have this man back on our property to create even more havoc that we advised we would try to fix it ourselves. We asked if he would be giving a discount for his failures and he said to take off whatever we thought was fair after we went to Home Depot to buy the extra products to finish the install correctly. We, ourselves, spent approximately $100 in additional parts from Home Depot and several hours of labor to create additional 2 inch tracks on both sides to hold the shade in place but despite our efforts, the cheap, flimsy shade continues to bend and blow outside of the tracks letting the hot wind blow in. We have made many attempts to contact Hassan, asking him to refund our money and to remove the shade altogether. We have sent half a dozen text messages and left 2 voicemails with no response whatsoever. We simply want our money back and want to return the awful product full of false promises that we were provided. Any professional service provider would refund the money and remove the shade.
