Description of Work: It seemed as though the young man Johnathan had already decided that Kayco would not work on mobile homes unless they replaced the entire roof for 10,000. My roof is 10 years old and I paid 6,000 initially so I didn't understand exactly why they won't work on mobile homes except that he said the rafters were smaller than regular homes. It would be nice if they tell you upfront they won't work on mobile homes unless you do the whole roof. What were they going to do replace all the rafters and essentially build a new roof not just repair the leaks.? I gave them an F for not telling me upfront they don't do mobile homes.

Description of Work: I had a 20 year old roof replaced. What was being done was explained to me in detail, they provided the service on the date provided and was completed on time. I am happy with the service and would use them again! Thank you!

Description of Work: Repaired area on roof around the chimney that appeared to have a leak. Replaced the flashing and built a new wooden chimney frame/siding.

Description of Work: Overall very good. |However, he promised to supply the necessary information to my insurance company to get my wind damage discount. The insurance company said he was uncooperative. I will have to hire an outside inspector to receive my discount at over $100.00 added expense to me. I feel he should have done whatever was required , as we had agreed to. |Otherwise , I am very satisfied and would recommend this contractor.

Description of Work: We were unsure whether work needed to be done on the roof, so we called Kayco for an estimate. Mr. Briggs was very knowledgeable and let us know that we could expect a few more years from our roof. He was very responsive and came just when he said he would. We will definitely call upon him to replace our roof when the time comes.

Description of Work: Clark is a true professional - honored all appointments, commitments, and fair pricing. As a woman homeowner, he made me feel comfortable and took me through all the steps of a complete re-roof. I highly recommend him and would use him again. Deercreek subdivision.

Description of Work: Replace my roof and made sure they cleaned everything up after. Now when we have those terrible rains I am not worried. Matter of fact most times I don't even know it is raining because I can't hear the rain on the roof.

Description of Work: He did thorough inspection, wrote detailed estimate and eplained all our options and costs, was honest and did not try to pressure us into purchasing unneeded extras. We were very impressed with this young man's demeanor and hired him. Work will commence on December, 4, 2013. We will give any update after the roof is completed.

Description of Work: Did not go with this contractor as they could never show up on time, constantly strung us along on repairs for our roof. What is it about Jax roofers? Our $500 repair isn't worth your time? We told this company to take a hike.

Description of Work: We interviewed at least 8 roofing companies and decided on Kayco. Mr. Clark Briggs had to cancil our initial appointment and I followed up with an email and we rescheduled it for a few days later. He showed up a few minutes early and was well prepaired and very professional. He explained different products that he can offer and gave me solutions for my ventalation problems. A few days later he came back out to sign some forms and help us decide on the color for the roof. He was very patient and took my wife and I to several other neigborhood to show us the colors available and gave us his opinion. We set up the start date and his crew showed up early that morning ready to get to work. He has trailors for the removed material and trash which they removed from my property daily after they clean up.. They did leave some tools and material on site but always had them need and organized, covered by a tarp. He also has his own crews and not subcontracted crews. His crew completed the job in just three days which was much faster than estimates from other companies estimate at five days. Our roof is 53 square and a very steep pitch and it looks absolutly incredible and makes our home look great. Clark and his crew have my highest recomendations.

Description of Work: A small leak was discovered during the home inspection prior to my purchasing the house. Since it was a short sale, I was responsible for the repair. The real estate agent sent two contractors to give me estimates, both of which were higher than Kayco. I found Kayco on Angie's List and they worked with me during the holidays to do the repair only after I had been given title. Their work was outstanding on all points and they were a pleasure to deal with.
