Kayco Roofing

They did a great job. the entire crew did a wonderful job. I was amazed, when the job was complete I only found four nails in my yard. they were in and out in two days. They were professional. they worked until dark every day.

We worked with a Jonathan in Gainesville. The job went smoothly & on schedule. Having had previous projects done it is a delight when all goes as planned. The crew cleaned up every day to ensure all nails & debris was removed. We chose to have the peel & stick underpayment. Jonathan & his crew were polite & available for questions. Would definitely recommend them for roofing.

We were building a home and Kayco installed the roof. Looked good at first till first light when we were shocked from the wrinkles all over. Kayco was immediately notified within two days after install, since install was a Saturday. He proceeded to argue it wasn't his fault. I told him his supervisor was well aware of our concerns and chose to proceed. He did not care! I asked about warranty. Still no resolution. We entered rainy season and various other problems arose. Much too lengthy to get into here. We hired a professional inspector to which we found many more issues. The Kayco company also refused to pay their supplier and they placed a lien on our property, which they had every right, so we paid that. It was a lot of stress to endure from, in my opinion, a company that had no regard to owning up to its responsibilities. We will have no choice but to have the court systems resolve the matter. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!! Beware!!!!!

Jonathan at Kayco took very good care of our project. Very informative and responsive to questions. Quality, timely service, and very reasonably priced. From signed contract to completed job was only about 2 weeks. Workman cleaned up afterwards and roof looks great! Would recommend Kayco for any roofing work.

First impression was started with truck pulling up in front of the house. The vehicle was clean and the decals on the truck were impressive. It continued with the crew being on-time and professionally dressed for roofing work. The repair was completed and looked like nothing had happened. The price was slightly higher than the competition, but we received great service from the first call to the office through invoicing. As a retired Professional Engineer I appreciated the old fashioned style of customer service and pride in workmanship that Jonathon and the Kayco Roofing crew provided.

They had a new roof on in 2 days. There was no debris left from the old roof. They were as accommodating as possible with their equipment. The roof looks great!

From start to finish of the project all representatives with Kayco impressed me with their professionalism, product knowledge and responsiveness. I needed a new roof on 2 houses and received estimates from several roofing companies. I chose Kayco to do both roofs and am very happy with the end results. The day of the install they brought the dumpsters out and worked dawn to dusk both days to complete the roofs and then removed the dumpster when the roof was complete. They cleaned up very well and made sure I was happy with the end results. Every person I worked with from Kevin to Cindy to Jonathon as well as the roofing crew were very professional and ensured the roofs were completed to my expectations. Thank you Kayco for 2 jobs well done.

It would be nice to post location restrictions here. The website states "Jacksonville and the surrounding First Coast communities". I am on the North side in one of the many new sub divisions, but was told they go only as far as I-10. Either I was lied to, or their website is misleading, as Jacksonville spreads a whole lot further than I-10.

We needed our original roof replaced with a new roof ,so my husband was able to check out roofers around town working. Kayco time and time again kept impressing him with their ability to put up a new roof the right way. Kayco almost put a new roof on our house in one day but ran out of sunlight. We don’t have a big house ,but it was still impressive to watch. They clean up very well ,and they don’t leave that dumpster in front of your house for days after the roof is completed. He saw this with several roofing companies ,but not Kayco the dumpster was gone the day they finished. Everyone at Kayco that we talked to from Kevin and Cindy and Jonathan were absolutely great to deal with. If I were someone looking for a great roofing company go with Kayco you won’t regret it.

Everything went very well!! The dumpster was dropped off in the morning and picked up in the late afternoon ... everything was cleaned up to perfection. Awesome job and awesome looking roof. Cindy and Kevin are a complete pleasure to work with!

This was my first experience in having a roof replaced. I received quotes from 3 highly rated roofing companies listed on Angieslist. All 3 quotes were similar in price. Kevin McClure with Kayco Roofing made my decision easy - he "sold" me with his knowledge of the product and the trust he has for his roofing crew, Roofing day went just the way Kevin said it would ... the dumpster and crew showed up at 8:30 in the morning and the roof was completed the following afternoon along with the removal of the dumpster. Yes, that's what I said ... the dumpster was only there for a little more than a day! Our neighbor recently had there roof redone and their dumpster was in their driveway for more than a week. Clean up was amazing - you wouldn't even know that a roof had been taken off and a new roof was put on ... everything was left absolutely spotless. The finished product looks AMAZING!! Kayco roofing was wonderful. Its refreshing to make a call and have someone answer and resolve your questions so quickly. They came when they said they would. Finished in a timely manner. Very professional and friendly group. Great documentation.

Due to rain delays and a backlog of customers, it took about 3 weeks for them to get to my repair. They were quick and efficient on the day of the repair, however.

They were the middle price of the 3 estimates we got but we thought were the most professional. They were pretty booked and said it might take a couple of weeks to get to us but would work us in as soon as possible. Since it was a small job they called us quiet a bit sooner and worked us in one morning before another job. They did not try to talk us into a new roof and said the shingles we have are fine. We appreciated that since we have other roofers constantly coming buy when they are working in the neighborhood trying to sell us a new roof. In addition to replacing the boots, Kayco walked the whole roof to check for nails that had popped up and any other damage.

Completed when scheduled. Excellent materials and workmanship.

My three main concerns on selecting a roofer were what kind of job they would do, how much they would cost and how much of a mess/damage they would make/leave. My neighbor and I jointly interviewed three companies, all of whom had good reputations on Angies List. All three would have probably done a fine job but Kevin McClure, the Kayco representative, made us feel the most comfortable and had the best pricing. We had a whole list of questions to ask but Kevin answered about 95% in his basic presentation. One thing we liked was Kayco used Owens Corning shingles while the other two used different brands. I contacted eight of Kayco references and they were very positive. We wound up selecting the lifetime warranty. The crew arrived the first day right on time. They obviously were used to working with each other because all started on different tasks with no directions needed. Tarps were spread the length of the house on both sides and over shrubs to catch nails and debris. A wheeled dumpster was placed in the drive in front of the garage. The first day ended with an hour long monsoon rain that literally happened with no warning. The crew was drenched but waited out the rain so they could clean up the work area before they left. The second day they also arrived promptly, completed the roof and made sure everything was totally cleaned up before they left. Being inside the house during the shingle removal and re-nailing was not enjoyable but was not as noisy as I had thought. The air compressor that operated the nail gun was the worst part but not much they could do about that. There were two slight hiccups. The monsoon mentioned above resulted in a small leak in one room and a couple of lanai screen panels were slightly damaged during the roofing process. Both issues were addressed promptly. I consider this a plus rather than a minus because “things happen” no matter how careful you are. Prompt corrective action is the sign of a good company. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the work. The crew was meticulous. I would highly recommend them.

Outstanding company. They are punctual, friendly and professional. It was difficult to find a company that was not just a roofing company but also able to do the carpentry work for the new chimney. They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them for your roofing needs

I contacted 4 roofers and they all came to my house. 2 of the never even followed through with an estimate. 1 was so high I couldn't even consider it. Kayco came to my house and I met a very professional person named Kevin. He presented me with a folder with samples, client references, their license and bonding information. He gave me an estimate on the spot. it was reasonable and affordable. I choose Kayco and I was glad I did. They arrived right when they were suppose to and completed the job within a timely manner. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them. Thank you Kayco.

Kayco is the best roofing company I've ever seen. Superb proposal that included all necessary information, great price for the work done, lifetime warranty, superb crew, and great finish cleanup. Simply flawless.

This was the smoothest experience we have ever been through. They answer calls the first time. Return calls when promised. Arrived exactly when they said they would. Did all work exactly as promised. Work was completed in exactly 1 day. At the end of day one, roof was beautiful! Area surrounding our house was cleaned up and returned to the condition it was when they all arrived. Everyone was professional. I liked that they all wore Kayco roofing shirts. Never saw anyone standing around. They worked their butts off straight through until lunch break. Exactly one hour later, they were back at it full force. By 5pm everything was cleaned up and any leftover supplies were neatly stacked next to the trailer in the driveway. By 7:30 the next morning, the truck arrived to remove the trailer and supplies and they even swept the driveway on their way out! Highly recommend!

I am updating this review to clear up a miss communication I had with Kayco Roofing. I spoke to the owner (Clark)of Kayco Roofing, we had a very professional conversation about what took place between me and his company. Please do not take my earlier "D "rating of this company into consideration when reading their reviews. Even though I am unable to get work done by them at this time, due to no fault of this company. Clark and his company are very professional and should be considered for their work. They should receive an "A"

My experience with Kayco Roofing went very well. From my initial meeting with Kevin for the estimate through the finished product today, all was exceptional. Kevin was personable, well-informed, answered all of my questions, provided a detailed packet of information for me to review, and was a help all throughout the process. On the 2 days that it took for the re-roofing, the workers arrived early, worked all day, cleaned up afterwards, and left with a job well done. At the end of day 2, Jonathan (project manager) brought to my attention that an end part of one roof vent did not have shingles covering it as it should have as they had run out of shingles. He told me that someone would be out the next morning to take care of it, and they were! I had called several roofing companies for estimates, but my experience was not good except with Kayco. Others either did not call me back, did not meet with me in person, or did not follow-up by providing me with the estimate; I had to track down my estimates from them. So my overall experience with Kayco could not have been better and my new roof looks wonderful!
