Randy's Reliable Plumbing

On July 17th 2013 I got a call from a resident of the rented house that the water would not shut off in one of the bathtubs. I had a previous experience with Randy's Relaible Plumbing with a good outcome so I told the resident to call him as I was on the road and did not have the contact info.Randy called me immediately to confirm a service call to the residence. He is very honest about his response turn around time and when he got there and checked it all out he called me with the estimate . Plumbing parts were rusted inside the shower valve in that bathroom. We discussed other details of the plumbing while he was there. All 3 bathrooms needed some plumbing attention.He gave a quote for each of the repairs individually and schedule repairs for all plumbing . He fixed the emergent problem right away and agreed to get the parts for the non emergent repairs as a followup repairs a day or 2 later. One of the things I really like about this service provider is that when asked, he will take the time to look at all the small plumbing repair possibilities that happen with normal daily living to avoid a crisis later. He makes SENSIBLE recommendations and is reasonably priced.

The house that I had the work done on is my late father's house. I am renting it to a nice family since I live out of state. Being out of state I was very nervous about finding a plumber who could work with me over the phone and do quality work at a fair price. I did a search on plumbers and Randy came up top of the list as local. ANGIES LIST MEMBERS WERE RIGHT!!! HES AWESOME! He was professional, able to work with me over the phone, scheduled me quickly (next day), and doubled my first timer discount when clearing the house became a two hour and heavy duty machinery job. The stuff he pulled out of the pipes...that my tenants didnt know not to flush... well... lets just say hes worth every penny for handling that mess. He was also able to advise me on what could be potential issues for the system... there may be a pipe that is crushed into more of an oval shape and it could be a potential catchall.

We are remodeling our home and needed 3 sinks hooked up....we called RRP. We used Randy's services a year ago and were well pleased, so naturally, he became our "go to guy" for all of our plumbing needs. Randy was very flexible, attended to the work well and brought our plumbing system up to code by replacing some compression issues. He also installed a new hose bib for the back yard. We definitely recommend this contractor for all your plumbing needs.

I had called this service provider from out of state. Angie's List is a valuable tool for this situation. He was truthful about his turn around time for a service call. I had called the resident of the house and said he would be calling her; he made all the arrangements himself when they would meet at the house. He arrived promptly the following day of my call and was prompt, professional, efficient and cost effective. He gave that extra customer service of checking everything regarding the plumbing to ensure no water was wasted on drips and leaks -> that certainly helps with the monthly fees associated with water and sewer.

Randy saved my day! In spite of him getting home before the big storm hit, he came right out to fix my broken pipe. He had to dig and dig and dig through a lot of roots to get to the broken pipe. He said that it was bad, and boy was he right. I just got a bill for over $1100.00!!! I've applied for an emergency adjustment with the Deltona Water, we'll see how it goes. I will have another report to write, hopefully about how gracious they were in greatly reducing my bill since I am on Social Security Disability and certainly cannot raise that kind of money. I recommend Randy's Reliable Plumbing to everyone. He is fair, punctual, and knows what he's doing. I have used him for other plumbing needs and when this emergency came up, I knew exactly who to call. That's a great feeling!

His schedule opened up on March 30th so he called and said he could do it then. He came right on time to the dot. Sized up my situation immediately and installed the new cartridge. His price was excellent and he also gave us the Angie's List discount! Well, as Murphy's Law would have it, the new cartridge began to leak as well.. Randy was able to contact the factory Representative for the faucet and replaced it with an actual factory part. (I was told by the online seller that theirs was a factory part. Upon closer examination it was obvious this was not true). Randy replaced the cartridge and only charge us for what he paid for the part! Randy is super knowledgeable and full of tips on how to maintain your plumbing to keep it working. It is great to work with the best! You can't miss with Randy's Reliable Plumbing.

great, hot water did not flow properly from kitchen faucet. After flushing it out and checking for any flow issues, it works great. He was extremely informative regarding faucet flow restrictions. I also had questions regarding a re-circulator for the hot water in the kitchen as it is the farthest from the hot water heater. He answered them and did not try to sell me, just gave me the info to make the decision as to whether I should get it. He also gave me all the costs and what it would take. I will definitely use his services again.

It went very well. Randy was great about calling, showing up on time and very professional. The job I had was fixed and was working perfectly in about an hour. He gave me great advice about how to prevent another occurence. The price was at least half as much as I had anticipated! Would highly recommend, very nice guy. Obviously knew his stuff. He even fixed the problem that my Dad (who is also a plumber) didn't fix!! (Don't tell my Dad I said that :))

Called to have Randy look at our rental house plumbing. We had two issues - one was the apparent water leak in MBA and the other was leak in kitchen sink. He tightened both fixtures and said that was most likely the cause. When our renter called back to ask why he hadn't looked under the sink, he said that would be another charge. I think if you are looking at a leak in the sink, you should also look under it. We will use someone else next time. I know he was very busy that day - said he did 15 calls in one day. I think he rushed this call.

Excellent service and repair. The cost was less than we anticipated. Finding the leak and repairing it was done in very effective manner. Referral for other needed services such as carpet cleaning and water extraction was very helpful.

This was my first call to him, but I wouldn't hesitate calling him again. I recommend him.

Randy was running a little late so he called to let me know. He was only delayed by about 1/2 hour and called again to let me know when he was on his way. Randy was very personable and professional. He was fast and charged me less than he originally estimated. I highly recommend Randy and will never use another plumber.

He was nice and courteous and did what he said he would and worked efficiently and didn't talk, instead of working.

Randy answered my call promptly and was ready to go to work at the time he said he would the next day (Sat.) He gave me an estimate, which was as close as possible in reality. He got the job done in a professional manner and when I replied to his question about how I had heard of him, that it was on Angie's list, he didn't hesitate to apply a $15 discount to his bill.

I called Randy on Wednesday. He said he was booked that day but would come Thursday or Friday. When that didn't materialize, I called again and Randy told me he would be here 8:30 a.m. Monday. Once he arrived around 9:00 a.m., he went to work, determining that all three faucets could be repaired instead of being replaced. He finished the work in about an hour. He told me the charge would be $75 after the $15 discount coupon. While I was making out the check, he came to the door to tell me that he had miscalculated and the final charge would be $10 less ($65). I am very satisfied with Randy's work and won't hesitate to use his services in the future. He is friendly and takes his work seriously.

He was a very nice guy. He came out very quickly. He was very responsive. He was also proactive about another problem he saw and fixed it too. People usually go with big, recognizable names and sometimes the independent contractors are the better option. I would certainly use him again and I would certainly recommend him as a friendly neighborhood plumber.

Very Good! When Randy was at our home for installing the whole house water filtration system, he and my husband discovered the hot water heater didn't have a wren's nest on top of the unit like it looked like. Instead the unit was rusting out the top. It needed replacing quickly. Randy worked us into his schedule and was back with the new unit before the old one blew up! He even swept up the dust bunnies and cob webs from behind the old before installing the new. True Professional. Thank you Randy!

The installation went very fine. He was very clean and happy with his services and would highly recommend him.

After the system has been installed, I can tell a difference and can now drink the water now. Thus far we haven't had any problems or leaks. I think Randy is a very nice man and would absolutely recommend him to others. We are already talking with him about our hot water tank.

We were very undecisive on who to choose and who to trust, but once we signed up with Angie's list and we found Randy we were very at ease with everything. The service was great and we will use his company again with any issues we may have.

Poor guy didn't know who would be there the next time he turned around and just kept answering questions and smiling. We are "making another appointment" for Randy to come back to install a water filter system.
