It was fixed and I didn't need a new frig.

Allen required $129 just to come and assess the problem. Parts and labor are then added on to the 129 for actually fixing the problem. I find this completely unacceptable, price-gouging even, that $129 is paid upfront just to look. Will never ever call them again.

Called early Thursday morning and was advised tech would arrive by noon. Arrived at 11 AM. Service was completed under 1/2 hour. Anthony showed me how to access filter and clean it on my own, if I wanted to. Unlikely because service was remarkable. Tech was very professional and courteous. Will definitely use again for other services.

The tech evaluated the problem and determined I had a bad switch. He order the part, but when it came in it also had a new burner. Both were installed that same day. After a week past I noticed the knob was not working properly. When I took a look at the stem on the new switch I realized the stem was too short to work with the existing knob. I had the tech to come back to fix the problem. He told me after some discussion about the switch stem being too short there was nothing he could do about the stem being too short. He put wire and tape on the knob to keep it from coming off and order a new knob. If the stem is too short it will continue to crack the knob. I am not happy with the options I was given. A new knob with more wire and tape. What ever happened to replacing a part with one that works like the original cook top?

Great. The technician identified the issue and fixed the icemaker on the first call. He also explained several quirks of this refrigerator. He had to order the water filter and another tech came two days later and replaced that. All done courteously and on time.

I purchased the "Appliance Checkup" service, and within one day (not for an emergency call or anything special) Brandon was at my house. He was great, I move to a new home that had some high end appliances from Fisher and Paykel and there were some things going on I wasn't sure about, Brandon was very thorough in his explanation of what the possible causes could be. He wasn't able to take any direct action, but he left me some next steps with how to properly clean and use the machine and they have a 30 day recall option for no additional charge. If I ever need any service done to any appliance, I know exactly who I'm calling.

My 1986 gas oven was no longer coming on. As I explained, when I called Allen's Appliance Service, I could force it to come on by heating the thermal coupler with a lighter. The dispatcher told me there was another service call in Port Orange, but the technician could come when that job was complete. The technician did arrive within a reasonable time and proceeded to get model and description information. A quick internet search and it was determined that the part was no longer available. Sorry. That will be $89.00 service charge. That's it, there's nothing that can be done? WOW. He did offer to have another technician come out but by the tone of his voice, he didn't sound like it would do any good. No help at all. As it turns out, I was able to obtain a replacement part, but I did not call Allen's to install it.

The service from Allen's Appliance was fast. Mike, the Service Technician, arrived at our home just about two hours after I phoned in for an appointment. Mike is professional, courteous, and very relaxed to work with. He explained everything he was doing to analyze the problem with our refrigerator. He made a decision on what needed repair, gave us the total cost, and let us make the decision on what repairs to do. We felt he was honest, straightforward and thorough in his evaluation. Allen's Appliance will have our future business and recommendations to any friend who may need an appliance repair. Thank you.

I called Allen's on Thursday morning about an issue with my LG washer. I had already called LG and they were not able to diagnose the problem over the phone and they referred me to a local "LG repairman" whose company seemed sketchy, it wasn't listed anywhere on line or in the phone book and it seemed to be run out of a garage about 30 miles away. I decided to go with a non "LG trained" repairman and called Allen's based on reviews on this website. I left a message and my call was returned within 30 minutes. Walt told me that they do service LG Appliances but when I told him where I lived he said I was outside their service area. When I asked him if he knew of anyone closer to me that services LG, he said hold on a minute. When he came back on the line he said he had a slow day lined up and could have someone at my house in a couple of hours. I was immediately impressed with his willingness to send someone so far. The tech called when he was on his way and showed up on time. He took his time diagnosing the issue, calling back to the shop several times. He finally determined the problem was with the software in the control board, and it would have to be replaced. He told me they would have to order it but someone could be back on Saturday (two days later) to install it. On Saturday afternoon a different tech showed up with the control board, installed it and had my washer working like new again in about 15 minutes. I am extremely pleased with the professional response, speedy service, quality work, and fair price I received and wouldn't hesitate to call Allen's again for any appliance problem.

Even though he was not able to fix my appliance, he was prompt, personable, honest and straight forward and I appreciate that very much.

Mike arrived when he said he would and diagnosed the problem after a thorough check of the machine. He ordered a part and returned several days later. After installation of the part, he discovered that it did not correct the problem. He did some research on the computer and admitted he misdiagnosed the problem and was ordering the correct part. I was amazed at the honesty and professionalism of Mike and the backing of the Company on the error. I was not charged for the wrong part. Mike returned to install the correct part. He was courteous, prompt and did fix the problem. I recommend Allen's Appliance without hesitation. I will use them if the need arises for another appliance repair.

Since the contact was through Angie's List, I received a $10.00 discount, which was very nice. Anthony arrived on time and did an amazing job of repairing my dishwasher. At the end of the repair, he left everything in the clean manner that he found it in. Another aspect of Allen's Service that I liked was that they emailed me an invoice, once the work was completed. This company comes highly recommended from this happy customer!

Thank you Allen's Appliance Service Inc. for the great customer service in refunding the money for the dishwasher parts. Your technicians tried their best to repair the dishwasher, not knowing that it had an electrical failure issue. I have never known of a company to do this. This was above & beyond and my husband and I truly appreciate it! We will definitely call your company again should we need an appliance to be serviced or repaired.

My belief is that I could not have had better service from any other service provider in the universe. Allen's Appliance Center is the best at being on time, at evaluating the issue by researching the particular appliance, and at repairing the problem. The storeWhere I purchased the refrigerator put me in contact with a service center. I made an appointment because I trusted the store to choose the best. Afterwards, I researched their recommended provider. When I did, I discovered that there was not a good review in the many reviews I read. In fact, there were so many F scores that I knew the store's recommendation was not for me. I immediately decided to join Angie's List. The rest is history.
