When he arrived the repairman asked what the problem was and once I explained in detail he knew what was wrong. He disconnected the drain hose and removed the filter and showed me how clogged it was with everything from dog hair to loose change and someones post office key still on the ring. Once the filter was cleaned of all the stuff clogging it and it was put back in the drain hose the washer ran like new. Excellent same day service for a very reasonable price. would highly recommend to anyone.

I've used Allen's Appliance several times before and always had good results. This time both of my refrigerators (kitchen and beer fridge in the garage) quit cooling within 12 hours of each other (go figure - and on a Sunday of course). I left a message on their machine and Walt called me first thing Monday. Both were repaired before noon that same day. This is a great local business that I would recommend fully!

They're A+, because every time I call, they're out within that day or the next day, and they were very prompt. They called before they came; I teach, so sometimes I can't get home until 3 o'clock, and they worked with me on that schedule. They were very friendly, very courteous and willing to explain what's going on. They visited the whole time, and figured out what's going on. They usually have whatever they need in their van for the thing that needs fixing; we had them for the dishwasher, oven, stove and for our drier as well. The cost had gone up a little bit, but I think the price was just the same with everybody else. They didn't overcharge us for anything.

The service was done beautifully. They came within hours of contacting them. They came back with the part, fixed it, and gave us advice on keeping the unit running. They did an excellent job overall.

After a few days Walt contacted me and listened to the experience and reacted positively to correcting the situation. He sent another representative to me and he ordered the part that was damaged on the first service call and had it installed once the part arrived. He did not care what the part cost, he honestly wanted to make sure that I was satisfied and went to great lengths to do that. I was very happy to see that there is integrity with some companies and they stand by their word in regards to customer service. I will definitely contact Allen's Appliance Repair Services on any appliance repair that may come up in the future.

I used the online request for this company and the owner, Walt, contacted me within hours of my request. He was very conscientious and helpful. The serviceman, Jim, arrived within the projected window when promised. He helped us remove the old appliance and install the new cook top. The instruction directions from the manufacturer were extremely poor - but Jim was extremely knowledgeable and he installed the cook top without a problem. The most important thing I discovered with this company is that they have great integrity. This quality is very rare these days and it is for this reason that I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

I called Allen's Appliance after I received a call from my tenant stating that the dryer did not heat up. Allen's Appliance came out the next day and repaired the dryer. Tenant is now happy and so am i. Quick response and fixed the problem the first time.

The engineer Jim went above and beyond in troubleshooting. He was very respectful and extremely informative as he worked through the repair process and was helpful in advising how to handle the discrepancy with the 2 yr. warranty that I purchased but Geek Squad couldn?t locate. I will be calling this company for all my future repair needs and highly recommend them to anyone who needs appliance repair.

Appointment was scheduled within a day of my call.Tech was running ahead of schedule and called to see if he could come earlier (this worked out perfectly for me). He assessed the problem but didn't have the parts necessary to complete the job with him so he tried to get my dryer working as much was possible since it was day before Thanksgiving. He ordered parts that afternoon and came back early Saturday to complete the job.

I called them because my ice maker had stopped working. We made an appointment for a couple of days later. They were on time and very professional. He took the ice maker out and showed me where it was burnt up, literally. He left and was going to order the parts and set another appointment to do the repairs. I called later that day to cancel the order and the repairs because the frig was just too old to put a few hundred dollars into.

The response to my initial telephone call was courteous and quick. The repairman was friendly and very professional. The repair solved the problem without the need to replace the washing machine. A modest repair cost averted a major replacement cost. Very satisfied with the experience. I will definitely use Allen's Appliance Service in the future and recommend this company to others.

Wonderful experience. The technician arrived on time, properly diagnosed the problem, and completed the repair in a timely matter. He actually had a new ice maker with him and didn't have to order any parts. We would definitely recommend and use them again.

A wonderful experience. Called Allen's based on reviews, Our call was answered quickly, and the service person was knowldegeable and knew the exact problem based on our description of the problem., We were quoted a price and were able to have our machine serviced the same afternoon. The service was professional, fast, personable, less than quoted, and never rushed. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will not consider calling anyone else for future repairs. .

Although they couldn't see me the next day, the person taking my call gave me information on how much it was to go out and review the problem, aside from the general cost of parts. The repair man, Mike, was at my home early. He was very articulate about what the problem may be and in what the issue was. He showed my the heating element that was broken, before replacing it with another. I was charged $89 for the service call and $90 for the heating element, plus tax. The repair man, Mike, was very helpful and knowledgable, giving us tips on how to prevent future issues with our dryer. Allen Appliance exceeded my expectations, by getting our drying running in under 20 minutes and giving us a lot of detail on what happened and how to prevent a potential future issue.

We will continue to use their services if need them.

Allen's Appliance Service is the only person we call. Their scheduling is very prompt and the girl is really nice. They are honest. I am really impressed with them. They will tell you if you are paying to much, if they can get the part, or if it is realistic to fix.

I received a phone call that the technician (Mike) could come early. I gladly said "yes!". He came and knew immediately what was wrong when he turned the washing machine on. He explained everything he was doing as he was taking the washer apart and replacing the part. Within a matter of minutes, he had replaced the part. He was even kind enough to let me get the vacuum cleaner and he took care of the dust that had accumulated on the motor and under the machine. Mike was professional and efficient. Definitely would call this company again in the future for appliance repair!
