I contacted Freestyle for an estimate on new pool construction. The salesperson who came to my home was prompt, knowledgable about the construction process and the company, and listed to my desires for what I wanted in a pool. He left the appointment and said that he would have a design and quote within ten days, which was actually quite a long time compared to the amount of time it took other builders to get back to me with their quotes. After the ten days passed and I had received no quote, I contacted the salesperson. He told me that He would have the quote to me within 48 hours. Three days later I still had not received the quote. At that point I informed them that I would be going with another builder. I was looking forward to receiving their quote and possibly doing business with Freestyle since it is apparent from their many reviews on Angieslist that they construct quality pools. That said, when I have other highly rated companies that are responsive and make strides to try to earn my business, it concerns me when the basic sales and design process doesn't go smoothly and they don't get things done in a timely manner. If they say a quote will be ready within 10 days and two weeks later it still has not been received, how can the customer expect to trust them to complete the pool construction in a timely manner? Construction is where the delays come up in pool building. It's a huge red flag to me when delays start coming up before the contract is even signed.

Freestyle did a great job. We are very happy with the service we received before, during and after the sale.

I have been doing many home improvement projects the past 12-18 months; with varying degrees of success (based on the contractor). As I have been telling my neighbors, friends and family - this was the first project that met and/or exceeded my expectations. The team from Freestyle made everything very easy...because they did what they said they would, when they said they would do it and it was done correctly. Picking tiles and grout in their showroom is a little difficult b/c there are too many options. But, they were with my wife and I - making some suggestions and recommendations. In the end...we are really happy with the color combinations we chose. The entire project was to take 4-6 weeks; they were completed in 4. The teams showed up each day and put full days in; they arrived knowing what they were to do and when they had questions; the foreman quickly updated them (and me). They were meticulous is making sure the new coping was an exact fit and spent a lot of time making measurement and cutting. In addition - they had to do a lot of work with my existing pavers...including cutting them back, taking them out - adding sand to raise the level and then re-seating them to be flush with the new coping. Long story short - the previous owners had remodeled the pool years before and just added over the original coping; I wanted it done right...which took a little more effort. Freestyle was great and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of project. From a cost perspective - they were not the least expensive by any means; but...I have gone that route a time or two and know that many times you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this company. Two thumbs up.

I approached this project with reservations but I am happy to say that doing the research through Angie's list paid off enormously. I selected the top five contractors based on reviews by Angie's List customer recommendations. I interviewed 4/5. One was a no-show. Everyone interviewed was personable and professional. Interestingly they all proposed essentially the same design and were relative close on price and amenities. I chose Freestyle because "Mike", the individual who was my first contact and sales person was the representative whose proposal indicated that he had listened to my concerns and preferences. His first design echoed exactly what I had asked for. He worked within my budget constraints. He delivered as promised on time and was happy to make adjustments. I never felt like he was there to make a sale. Mike provided a lot of education and perspective and I had the sense and benefit of his expertise. He spoke highly of his company and co-workers. He was plainspoken,personable and exceptional. The expense detail was thorough. The project progressed just as he described and the financial outlay was absolutely true to the estimate. Billing was projected and managed exactly as proposed. "Janet" coordinated the billing as well as the phases and was always accessible and knowledgeable. There were no surprises. "Jim" was the amazing individual who stayed with the project throughout, keeping everything rolling on time, keeping me informed, herding cats (and my dog, Emma) and bringing a wealth of experience to the project. His crews were skilled, professional and somehow managed through their evident concern to also keep my neighbors happy despite weeks of demolition and construction (not ONE complaint!) "Cameron" provides the finishing touch in balancing chemistry and "Pool School". He watches the chemistry and supports the new owner in learning how to manage the pool ,the pump, the filter and their anxiety. He is a low key/highly effective teacher and has a marvelous sense of humor and self. I have managed to keep the system going. I have called for advice on chemistry several times and he has never failed to walk me through an issue. I can say that this is a fine team. They have integrity and work ethic. They have knowledge and talent. They do what they say they will do. I recommend them without reservation. I was swimming in September. The pool is absolutely gorgeous. It fits into the backyard so well and is a reflection of a sense of design and a sense of place that Mike and the team promised. I could not be happier with the pool or the process. I could not be more thankful for the integrity, skill and professionalism of the Freestyle Pools staff. Its nearly December and I have waited this long to write this recommendation because I wanted to make sure that the product was what I had hoped for. You will not be disappointed. Freestyle Pools does not advertise sword of mouth is significant to them. I hope they read this. They were worth every penny!

We started the first of August. Jeremy came out no matter what-rain or shine, but mostly rain. He tackled a very complicated leak 4 times. He never once complained! Just so admired his perseverance. Finally the 4th time was a success! What a gentleman!!! We have used them before on other issues, and it was always the same honest and fair price. We would use them for any of our pool needs.

Great. The crew showed up when scheduled and all work was completely on time. The supervisor was terrific. He answered my calls and was extremely helpful.

Final product is fantastic- But, arrogant/ unfriendly front office and sales staff, would not honor Angie's List coupon, no communication prior to/during construction. Actual workers very good, polite craftsmen.

the Entire project went very weill without any issues. All work was started and ended on time. I would recomment Freestyle to anyone who is planning a remodel or new pool. Each component went without any issues. They started and ended on time. The workmanship was excellent and the workers very professional. Cannot say enough about the entire experience.

From planning, designing, choosing mat, I used (showroom visits) on going and demo (how to operate). Freestyle guys are very responsive with you, had on minor problem but easily resolved. Very good experience working with Freestyle Pools.

I sent an email on 6/10/14. Response by email was prompt - 6/11/14. Email stated that a salesperson would contact us, but to be aware that they were booked through October. I guess they don't need my business because I still have not heard from anyone.

From start to finish, we found every member of Freestyle Pools to be professional, reliable, hardworking and committed to quality. They delivered what they stated they could deliver, in the time frame they said they would. They contrived a seat in my spa to fit my back, and went above and beyond time after time. Their skill and craftsmanship created the most comfortable and inviting pool and spa we have ever seen.

I went for broke and asked them to do all they could to make my pool perfect. Two days later they came over changed my leaking valves, replaced some automatic valves in the spa system, overhauled the built in auto cleaning system, flushed and filled the DE filter. Fixed the heat pump and set up the timer and programmed my pump. When they were gone the pool was crystal clear and the pool area was neater than when they showed up. The owner (if he wasn't he is the most conscientious employee in the world) came by the next day to go over everything his crew did, he walked my wife through how everything worked and he thanked us for our business. I wish every company was such a joy to deal with. Should I ever build a pool, I wouldn't have to put a second's thought into who I would call!!!!

Salesman was very brief. He did not seem particularly interested in selling a job. His attitude was - okay, let me look at it, and I will get back to you with an estimate, which he did. The estimate was considerably higher than others we received, which also led us to believe they were not particularly interested in doing the work for us.

They were very professional and completed the jobs as promised. The workers cleaned up everyday, progressed in a timely manner and remembered to close the gate so my dogs did not escape! This experience put faith back into the pool remodeling business for us. Several years ago we remodeled our pool (with another contractor) and unfortunately the job did not last because they took shortcuts. Freestyle Pools did NO such thing and were very pleasant to work with. We recommend them highly!

They started demolition of old deck and went through all phases on time. Were very professional.

We went with them because my wife works at the local library and his dad is a salesman for that particular library and their reputation is really good. They are a little pricier, they are costing me a little more than some of the other companies, but the reviews are coming in glowing. They came out in February and couldn't get me scheduled until the third week in June, that's how busy they are. They run a little higher than some of the estimates I have but they are probably in the middle. The biggest thing about him is that they have a showroom that you can go look. A lot of these places don't, they just give you books to look at. They have a showroom that I could go look at their display. They were here the day they were supposed to be, at least the salesman was. Some of the others were running late or had to reschedule. When we went into the showroom he had everything set up and ready.

A+ ratings extend to Mick Buchler, the salesman; Janet Weaver, the office manager and Mike Gann the site supervisor. These three made our pool rennovation experience fantastic. They are extremely organized & professional. Their communication skills during our 6 weeks was extraordinary. I'm a State Farm Agent who listens to thousands upon thousands of disgruntled insureds who've experienced nightmares with their pool rennovations. I did my homework with this company through the better business bureau, area building contractors and Angie's List. Their verbal & written reputation lived totally up to their billing. Mark the owner made a surprise visit to make sure everything was going as planned. This is a quality outfit with quality personnel. The only thought of concern we need to pass on is Joey Pombos and his aluminum crew. Joey's aluminum product is exceptional providing he stays on top of his men and their construction practices. When addressed with Joey and Mike, all issues were resoved to our total satisfaction. If you decide to go with Freestyle, make sure you speicify Mike Gann to be your site supervisor. Mike is fantastic at every phase of construction. He listens to your wishes and delivers exactly what you want. His men are superior with their construction skills. You won't go wrong selecting this pool company to handle your pool construction needs. Make sure you ask for Mike Gann, Mick Buchler and Janet Weaver......a three pack of awesome people.

From the time we visited the showroom to the job completion, everyone gave personal, professional service. Every person we dealt with was cordial and knowledgeable. Exacting attention was paid to every phase of the job. We were shown all options, crews showed up as scheduled, work performed to perfection and no messes left behind. As a matter of fact, the crew foreman, Cameron, went out of his way to ensure that we were happy with the end result. We are very happy with the entire process, and the pool looks new again. It is obvious that the Osbornes and their employees take a great deal of pride in their company. It is first rate in our book. We could not be more pleased, and we highly recommend Freestyle Pools and Spas, Inc.

He said the quote went up again and said they are higher then companies because other "salesman" do not know how to look for other expenses....I asked my wife if we want to see what they can still do and she said yes. So I asked for a 3D of our back yard and how it would look. I said I was a visual person and need to see how it would look. I had other contractors do it for me without question (in fact one did it at my house in less then 20 mins).... here is what Mark says... That is a process that takes approx 4-5 Hours, and about 800 Clicks on a CAD program to do. We only do that once the order and down payment is placed, or charge $350 in advance, which is applied to the job once ordered, if that works for you. Mark Seems to me that they are very busy and do not want to take the extra time for new clients. I am sorry, but if they will not go out of their way a little more then normal to make the sale, then what would it be like when the pool starts to go in. thank you for help Mark.. I will look elsewhere

Design process was really great. Mick helped us adjust size and layout to fit our budget. Additionally he came up with some ideas to shave down other costs that came out to about a 1000 off the initial quotes without giving up anything really. The owner Mark lives two doors down, and was checking up on the job every week. He didn't have to, but I really appreciated that extra oversight. We had a unusually wet July that delayed construction. This was partly because of the ground saturation and partly because other jobs got delayed. we lost only a month. Once the pool construction started it was done in about 4 - 6 weeks. We had delays due to relocating sewer pipes, tree removal, excessive ground water, and travel. The screen enclosure came out perfect. We were very impressed with Joey Pambo and his Crew. We had a slight issue with the salt chlorinator calibration, which resulted in having to drain a 1/3 of the pool after initial fill. Freestyle insisted on reimbursing us for the extra water cost. Freestyle was great, I am an engineer by trade and I can be painfully inquisitive about all aspects of a project. They were great on communication and educating me during all phases of the construction.

The process was flawless. The professional & work ethic displayed by all involved was exceptional.

Marc Osborne (one of the owners) helped us to choose the right product and color for our pool, foreman Cameron and his crews were extremely professional and courteous, We highly recommend this company and their employees!!!!

Freestyle did an amazing job. Everyone was great to work with and very responsive. They broke ground when they said they would and competed the project within the time period that was promised to us. Great company with very good customer service as well!
